A New Pen Name - April Fernsby

I have a new pen name - April Fernsby. I'll be writing paranormal mysteries under this name, so if you like witches, vampires and werewolves in your mysteries, you'll like my new stories.

I've already published the first book under my new pen name and it will be free on the 19th and 20th May. If you have Kindle Unlimited, you can read it for free anytime. Here are the details:

Next Butterworth Mystery - A Tragic Tune

The next story in my Butterworth series is now out with a new adventure for Sable and Connie.

This book will be free on the 5th and 6th April.

A Tragic Tune

Retired widows, Connie and Sable Butterworth have set up a private investigating business. They are hired to investigate a suspicious insurance claim where the payout is £10 million.
Ageing rock star, Juniper Vale, is injured when stage equipment falls on her during a rehearsal. Her hands sustain severe damage and she’s unable to play her famous guitar. Her husband, Ned, is the one who makes the claim for Juniper’s hands.
Sable and Connie discover Ned is more interested in Juniper’s money than her welfare and they suspect he had something to do with the accident. They make further investigations, but things take a sinister turn when someone is murdered.

A New Julia Blake Story - Exercising The Past

The latest Julia Blake story is now out. I hadn't realised the last story I wrote for Julia was in July 2016. She's been quiet for too long.

A Longer Butterworth Mystery

The next Butterworth Mystery is now out and the title is Mr Ridgeway's Last Case. It's a longer mystery and we get to know a bit more about Sable and Connie. The cover is slightly different from the shorter mysteries which have a sepia background.
This book will be free on the 6th and 7th March.

The next Butterworth Mystery is now available and it will be free on the 14th and 15th February. I've changed the cover design, and I'll be updating the previous two.

Their third case involves a mysterious night-time visitor.Jocelyn Kent contacts Connie and Sable and asks them to look into strange occurrences which happen nightly in her office. Every morning, when Jocelyn returns to her office, she discovers items have been moved despite the office being secure.Not happy with scaring Jocelyn, the intruder has now started to make attempts on Jocelyn’s life by sabotaging the drinking water and furniture.Connie and Sable are soon on the case and set up a night-time vigil. But there is something about Jocelyn’s office that bothers Connie. As the case proceeds, she remembers what it is, and the case takes a surprising turn.

Amazon UKI had a visit to London last week with my youngest daughter to look at a university. I love going to London as there's so much to see. Here are some photos:
St Pancras Station: Many films have been shot outside this lovely building - and also the Spice Girls video 'Wannabe'!

This is the university we went to see - UCL (University College London) Our tour guide told us this building has often been used in film locations. I looked that up and here's a link to Wikipedia

We went to one of my favourite places - The British Museum. You can see how similar it is to the UCL building

I've started a new series of books and the first one is free on the 28th and 29th January.
