Are You Glorifying God?

I was thinking about doing something when the Holy Spirit interrupted my thoughts.

“How does that glorify me?” He asked me.

His message to me was plain and clear. What I was thinking about doing in the way I was thinking about doing it at that time anyway would not have pleased and honored Him, would not have brought Him praise, honor, joy, and pleasure, would not have made Him happy, would not have been His will, and would not have glorified Him.

What a Beautiful Blessing!

I am afraid if we are not very careful that we can miss God’s beautiful blessings because our focus is not on God and His goodness but instead is on our trials, troubles, struggles, tribulations, challenges, and the hard and not so pretty stuff in this world.

I Can’t Do This!

     Ever felt like you simply cannot do something God has called you to do? Like it is way too hard? Even downright impossible?
