Two people I love dearly hurt me exceedingly. One had been hurting me for decades so I wasn’t surprised. The other wasn’t in the business of hurting me so I was taken aback. The result was the same. Heartache. In an already aching heart. I responded in the way I have been taught by the Lord Jesus Christ to respond. I went to Him. ……….“The enemy wants you to lash out in response,” the Spirit of God essentially spoke to my heart. “Don’t. Forgive.”
