Boy, do I owe you an apology. Somehow I never saw this question - and I think it's been a year. Sheesh. Please forgive me.

Yes, the Galahad series should be read in order, beginning with Comet's Curse. And, for the record, that entire series has been relaunched under a different pen name: Tyber North.

Thank you, Rhonda. (You're probably forgotten you even asked this. Ha!)(less)

Hi Margaret! Here you go:
Comet's Curse: Triana and Gap
Web of Titan: Channy and Bon
Cassini Code: Merit and Lita

For the final three books, it gets a little tricky. Tor used photos of characters that they felt could be random crew members - although I think I see Alexa and Taresh on the cover of Dark Zone.

The new Galahad Archives books (omnibus collections of all six books in three volumes) don't have characters on the covers. I've found that some people love having characters on the covers, while others don't like it. How about you?(less)

Fifty Years on the Run

Half a century. When you frame it that way, fifty years somehow takes on more significance. More respect. More gravitas, as the snooty magazines would say.

Fifty years ago this week, Paul McCartney’s “Band on the Run” was released as a single from his new group, Wings. After mostly limping by with minor success following the breakup of the Beatles, this was the song and album that exploded, final

“I'm done talking to you for today, my chips are worn out.
~Roc”
Dom Testa

“We’re foolish, idealogical creatures at 18. We have no idea what we want out of life, but it’s the time when we’re the most sure that we do. It’s almost comical; never again will you be so thoroughly convinced of something based on so little experience. Which is why we make impetuous decisions, life-altering decisions we later come to regret. Because we’re so sure, and then so surprised at how wrong we were. Surprised and angry, really, because everyone else was right. And if there’s anything universally true about youth, it’s that we resent the absence of experience and wisdom that others have accumulated before us. We want to stubbornly believe we were born with that wisdom, like it’s an inherent trait, and we can’t stand the idea that everyone else watches us stumble without it.”
Dom Testa, God Maker
