Not Enough Hours In The Day
Thank goodness I retired so I could write!
I'm not sure how people write when they have jobs and children to raise! I have spent the past week getting all the "little things" set up, like my website, business account, twitter page, facebook page, etc. with the hopes that once I actually start writing, I will not have to be sidetracked by all those things. Add into the mix having to set up a new computer. I wasn't really planning on doing that, but I believe everything happens for a reason. Thank God my old PC crashed before I actually started writing.
It has been educational process! I feel much smarter than I did one week ago! I have a feeling that by the time I publish, my IQ will be up by at least 50 points.
Then...throw in a dreary, rainy, day and a partially read book that is calling my name...
Must. Not. Listen.

Am I Really Doing This?
So, after working a nine to five job for many, many years, one day I finally decided that I was done. Just done. Without a whole lot of forethought, I turned in my notice and I am now "retired"! It's been just short of two weeks and I'm loving every minute!
I've joined a gym, which I've wanted to do forever. And...I've decided to try to write a book. I figure I've got nothin' to lose, right?
I bought an iMac to replace my old, trusty PC, which, ironically, decided to crash yesterday. I set up a business account, a website, Facebook account, Twitter account and now this blog!
This is ALL so new to me, but I've got nothing but time now and I'm so excited to actually get started!
