BLURB:  Sexy Twin Brothers.  One owns her heart, the other makes her burn.  Would it be RUDE to keep them both?
Liam walked into my world and turned it upside down with his lickable abs, bedroom eyes, and alpha male persona.  He was sin personified and I wanted him to damn my soul.  Everything about him drew me in, daring me to step outside my comfort zone and forget all the rules I'd made to keep my heart safe.  He was rude, vulgar, and promised everything a good girl dreams about doing with a bad boy.As if his temptation wasn't enough, his twin brother was thrown into the mix.  Luke was Liam's polar opposite in every way, except for his panty-melting looks.  Charming, respectful, and a man you wouldn't mind taking home to meet the parents. There couldn't be a more perfect man.  Put the two of them together and it was a combination no woman couldn't resist.  I've never considered myself a prude, even though I was holding out for marriage.  How could I walk away from a night that fantasies were made of?  Liam told me that great sex was never boring.  It was dirty, passionate and a little rude. All I had to do was say yes.  Two sexy twin brothers promising one hot night of unadulterated sex.

EXCERPT:“Hello beautiful.  I wasn’t sure what you liked so I made a smorgasbord of things.”  Luke’s voice was warm an inviting and I couldn’t help but compare it with Liam’s seductive gravel filled tone.  I found it flattering that he’d went through so much trouble.“I’m not picky.”  I managed a smile even though my lips were trembling. “It smells delicious.”“Wish we could say the same.  Luke and I are very particular in our tastes.  Wouldn’t you agree brother?”  The fact that he was looking me over blatantly again made me wonder if were talking about food.“Very picky.  In fact I’d say our tastes are very singular.  Why don’t we eat before we discuss that?” Again, Liam’s smile was charming but still I felt I was missing something very important.Food was the last thing on my mind as I took in the beauty of the two men before me.  For the most part they were identical, but there were some tale-tell signs that set them apart.  Like the inflection in their voices, or the way Liam was more guttural while Luke seemed more refined.  Small differences but very easily noticeable if you were paying attention.Liam set plates of food out on the breakfast bar, so I assumed we were eating casually.  I was glad we weren’t being formal but when he held out the chair sitting me in the middle I noticed how close we’d be sitting together.  Maybe a long table separating us was a good idea.  Once we’d all taken our seat, I felt the heat radiating off them.  It was instant arousal and my body wasn’t used to feeling that way. They both piled food onto my plate from each side, and I wasn’t sure I could eat a bite of it.  Stuffed mushrooms, broiled lobster, steamed shrimp, cheese scones, and asparagus.  My plate was growing fuller by the moment and I held my hand up with a small laugh.  “Um, guys?  That’s more than I normally eat in a week.  At least my nervousness dissipated a little with their antics.“Are you kidding?  This is a light dinner for us.”  Liam picked up my fork and speared an asparagus stalk, holding it close to my mouth.  It felt strange to be fed, but what the heck.  I took a small bite of the succulent greenery and sighed.  It was cooked to perfection and flavored just right.  Having him watch me chew was a little disconcerting but I let him continue feeding me until the stalk was gone.  I nearly fainted when he wiped my lips clean with his finger.“My turn.” I turned toward Luke and a fork full of lobster waited and I had to admit there was something very erotic about allowing a man to take care of you this way.The sensual dinner continued until I knew that if I took another bite I wouldn’t be able to walk.  Then I got to watch in pleasure as they consumed their food with a gusto that astonished me.  Both of them were so fit that I couldn’t imagine them eating so much but I guess all that muscle had to have some energy.  “Thank you for dinner.  It was delicious.”  Speaking softly I felt their eyes on me before I raised my gaze to meet one then the other.  “Our pleasure.”  Luke had a pained expression on his face and I was confused.  He’d seemed fine during dinner, but now I was afraid something he’d eaten disagreed with him.  “Excuse me for a moment.”“Is he okay?” I watched him walk away before turning toward Liam.“He’s got a bad case of blue balls if I had to guess, sweetheart.  Watching you eat has to be one of the sexiest things I’ve ever seen.”  Liam wet his lips with his tongue and the action was so sensual I felt it in my abdomen.  Luke wanted me!  The thought that either of these men were remotely interested was flattering.  I had no idea what to say.

Imperfect Truth - Ava Harrison

imperfect blitz
Imperfect-Truth-EBOOK-FOR-WEB      SYNOPSIS  I’m a blogger. He’s a writer. He was my weakness. I was his muse. Once upon a time my marriage was built on love... Until it wasn’t.Where had we gone wrong? I had given up hope…But then he messaged me, And his words intoxicated me. Made me believe in love again. Made me believe in truth. My imperfect truth…     EXCERPT  Now I should think long and hard about how to proceed, but instead, I choose to ignore it. I’m too intoxicated to care. Instead I decide to move toward the burning flame. I decide to heed no warnings. As the minutes pass I’m losing my free will. Ryder Matthews is holding me prisoner, and I don’t want him to release me. Ever. He leans forward; his lips graze my ear. “You're the most extraordinary woman I’ve ever met. Hearing you speak, the excitement in your voice. The blush of your cheeks when I make you uncomfortable…Ava, you fascinate me.” I shake my head in confusion and as I go to open my mouth, he lifts his hand up to stop me. “You’re astonishing. Do you understand?” The way he says my name gives me chills. Goose bumps prick at my skin. “Yes, I understand.” “Come with me.” My fate sealed. There’s something so real about him, and when he tells me to do something I feel I’ve no choice but to comply. He smiles and lightly grabs my arm, ushering me to the back of the room. My steps are rocky as I follow him. Now situated close to the window overlooking the city, Ryder stands by my side. His warm breath in my ear, “Where is your husband, Ava?” His words seduce me. He looks at me like a hungry predator stalking his prey. There is so much more meaning behind his simple words, knowing this leaves me dizzy with need. “I don’t know…I don’t know,” I breathe out again in almost a whisper as his fingers skim my waist. “That is a shame.” He is trailing a pattern down my torso, stopping at the curve of my hip. I shudder and my breath hitches as his hand turns me around. His eyes glaze over with desire and he leans forward. “Tell me to stop.” His face is a mere inch away from mine, “Tell me to stop, Ava.” My heart slams against my chest. I’m weak and dizzy. I shut my eyes and in a pained tone I utter the word I couldn’t say with my eyes open. “Stop.”   Copyright © 2015 by Ava Harrison    TEASERS  Imperfect-Truth-teaser-3  Imperfect-Truth-teaser-2-2    Imperfect-Truth-teaser-1  Imperfect-Truth-teaser-7  Imperfect-Truth-teaser-5  Imperfect-Truth-teaser-10  Copyright © 2015 by Ava Harrison        BUYTHEBOOK

The Roche Hotel - Mysti Parker

Hiya peeps! Thank you Michelle, for letting me tell you about Season One of my romantic comedy, The Roche Hotel! This short read is compiled of 10 “episodes” that are based on some very real incidents that happened during my days as a front desk clerk in a mid-priced hotel. Sure, a lot of stuff's made up purely from my crazy imagination, but there were 5:00 AM donuts--delicious fresh from the bakery. Henry the Donut Guy--not real, but I wouldn't have argued one bit if he had been! Among the many other true-to-life items that appear at the Roche Hotel are a popcorn machine, a Muzak that never played at the right volume, at least one "lady of the night", and a dead body.
The best thing is…Season Two is coming out June 1!!! Stay tuned…

Blurb:
After her husband ditches her for a blonde actress wannabe, Jane Seymour needs a job that pays the rent. The struggling Roche Hotel needs a miracle. With the former owner’s wife butting her nose into the renovations and new owners who are in way over their heads, Jane may be the answer to their prayers. Sure, she can handle The Roche Hotel’s quirky staff. But, can this skittish divorcee keep it all together when handsome Henry the Donut Guy makes his first delivery? This collection of serial fiction stories is a Tudorific romantic comedy that will leave you laughing out loud and hungry for more.

Excerpt from:

Episode 5
Business is Dead

“There’s a dead body in room 12.”
“What?” I hope I’ve heard Jerry wrong, but dead body doesn’t loan itself to misinterpretation. Not at 4:13 AM, and not with three cups worth of caffeine in my veins.
“Sort of half-in, half-out,” he says through his Sasquatch facial hair. “His legs are in the hallway, and his head’s in the room. Better call 911.”
Jerry’s serious. Without a moment’s hesitation, I pick up the phone and do just that. I call the Smythes next. Richard is silent for a few seconds, then says, “I’m on my way.”
I hang up the phone and shiver. I’ve been here all of two weeks, and now someone’s died on my shift? Of course, it has to be the guy who came in with the escorts last night. Will I be blamed for letting hookers in the hotel? Maybe they were too much for him. Whatever the case, I am not at all prepared for this catastrophe. I studied the hotel handbook. There was plenty on first aid, CPR, and other such interventions, but there was no mention of what to do when you find guests already dead.
Minutes later, the hotel is swarming with police, EMT’s, and the Fire Department. I’m not certain why all of them are necessary when there’s only one dead guy involved.
The questioning feels like an alcohol-induced dream:
“Do you know the names of the ladies he arrived with?”
“No, why would I?”
“Do you remember when they left?”
“Around 3:00 AM.”
“Did they seem distraught or upset when they left?”
“No, they were giggling and stumbling all over each other. They carried their high-heels, and one of them had a bottle of wine. They left in a cab.”
“Did the gentleman look to be in bad health?”
“No. He was laughing and a little red-faced. He paid in cash and asked me to not forward any calls to his room.”
One of the officers digs around in the lobby’s trash can. “Did Councilman Harris eat anything from the vending machine? Looks like this Oh Henry bar was expired.”
“Councilman? What? No…” With impeccable timing, Henry the Donut guy arrives at 5:00AM while I’m admitting to my less-than-ideal dinner. “…I ate that. I don’t know if the dead man, Councilman, whatever—I don’t know what he ate.”
The officers seem satisfied with my testimony and move on to question Jerry further. I feel sorry for him, having found the body. I hope they don’t finger him as a suspect. Sure, he looks like something you’d see in those blurry Bigfoot photos, but I think he’s pretty harmless.
“Are you all right?” Henry asks. “Can I get you a cup of coffee?”
I feel cold, so I hug myself and nod. It’s a little weird, Henry comforting me after my Scarlett O’Hara performance last night. He gets us both a cup from the breakfast area and comes back to my side, handing the steaming Styrofoam container to me.
“Thanks,” I say, taking a sip of the cheap brew.
The EMTs roll a stretcher through the lobby, with a sheet-covered body on it. A corner of the sheet snags on something and the Councilman makes one last public appearance. His eyes are wide open, staring up at the ceiling. His mouth is frozen into a Cheshire Cat smile, while his cheeks and neck are covered with lipstick stains in a hideous shade of orange-red.
“I guess he had too good of a time last night,” Henry whispers.

Book Banning is Just #RUDE

After writing a new book, as an author I feel a great sense of accomplishment.  You pour your heart and soul into the characters, love and nurture their scenes, and finally... you take a deep breath and release it into the world.  Well, unless you get an email telling you that your content isn't acceptable because of book racists!  That's the label I'm giving these companies that decide what adults can or cannot read.  It's no secret that my books are labeled for adults only.  I haven't released one single book that wasn't intended for a mature audience.  So why does Kobo, Apple, Tolino, and Scribd feel like they have the right to choose what you can read?
If I told you what religion you had to be, or what clothes you must wear today, you'd be pretty upset, right?  So shouldn't you be angry that these companies don't think you have the intelligence to know what books enter your electronic reader?  Just like you don't have to agree that all cops are bad, all white people are racist, and all black people are criminals, all books that touch on a topic some are uncomfortable with doesn't give you the right to ban them.  Labeling (something my daughter has been speaking out against recently) is WRONG!  Banning should be criminal.  Below is the correspondence I received concerning my new book, RUDE.  Which will be available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and in Paperback June 5th.

As you can see from my response to Draft 2 Digital, my gorgeous twin brothers don't have a relationship together, but with the same woman. I'm not giving spoilers about the book but I will say that I'm a romance author who believes in a happily ever after.  I could go into a rant about how loving someone is never wrong regardless of race, sexual orientation, or any other factor, but I won't. I'll just put it out there that everyone has the RIGHT to love!  You can agree, disagree, or fly into a tangent about that truth, but that is my belief.

I'm a grown woman.  I write books for adults.  So in my opinion?  Book banning is just rude.  Book banning is wrong.  The only person who should decide what I read, is me.  That's my two cents for what it's worth.
*.•´¸ #RUDE is a stand-alone sexy romance novel •*´
Two sexy twin brothers that always share.  Everything. Including women!
He was rude, vulgar, and promised everything a good girl dreams about doing with a bad boy.

Would it be Rude to turn it down?

Greg isn’t a bad looking guy. He’s not even slightly bad looking. In fact, he’s extremely good looking with his brutish looks. But that’s the thing – he’s just too beefy for my taste. He’s thick all over. Well, from what I can see, and what I’ve heard, he is. Which is good for him since most people think buff guys usually suffer from teeny weeny syndrome and they’re just trying to overcompensate in other ways. His head is typically filled with blonde locks, but he shaved it off this summer. Maybe it was some sort of rugby initiation or whatever weird sport he’ll be playing in college. “Excuse me, Greg?” His head swings my way as if he was just waiting for me to call his name. His smile is wide and his hazel eyes are bright. He’s genuinely a happy guy. And that’s what I like about him. That’s why I’m able to look past his player ways and enjoy his company. I do a quick glance up his muscly body from feet to face. His tan, smooth-looking legs are crossed at the ankle, reaching the other side of the truck as they’re stretched out. The colorful, geometric print trunks fully engulf his thighs, which is a plus. Guys shouldn’t wear more fitted clothes than I do. Then there’s his tank top. The non-existent fabric bunches loosely in the middle of his torso.“Yes, Quinn?” he smirks.“Your chesticles are showing.”He glances down and laughs. “Is that a problem?”“No.” I pop a grape in my mouth. “I just can’t stop staring.” He laughs even harder and I try my best to refrain from it myself. I’m not looking to choke on a grape as we drive down the highway. “Make em’ pop,” I demand as I lift my sunglasses to the top of my head for a better view. “Do what?”“You know.” I sit my grapes down and hold my hands in front of my own chest, moving my hands up and down. “Make them pop, dance, jiggle. Hell, make them rain for all I care. They have to be capable of doing something cool.”“Oh, hell yeah. I’ve had that shit down since the seventh grade.” He straightens his back and positions his arms in some weird flex in front of him. Then he begins to make them pop, drop and lock it. I giggle like a little girl as I watch. His face makes it all the better as he seems to be straining. He looks constipated. Without any inclination, I toss a grape at his tits. And with perfect precision he bounces his man boob just in time to deflect it. I play catch with his chest a little while longer before finally putting my earbuds in and relaxing.

"Can we go home?" Christina gathered her hair to the side and picked the helmet off the seat. "Please."
Cam tapped the pack of smokes against his hand, then took one out and lit it. "I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what that guy did to you."
"God, Cam. Just drop it." She fastened the helmet and shook her head in anger. "It was nothing. You didn't have to threaten his life. All you're doing is making it worse."
"Do I need to kill him?"
"No!"
"Then what did he—"
"He asked if I needed help. If I was safe with you." She crossed her arms. "It's the same thing I hear every time I go to town. You want to know why I don't like coming into Federal? That's why. Suddenly, everyone knows I'm the woman who lives with a convict. I don't even know that man. I don't know anyone, but everyone in town knows who you are. They ask if I'm okay and need any help every time I'm here. I can't just walk into the store anymore and be invisible. The town is too small, and I seem to be everyone's favorite topic for the last year and a half."
He was a convict. Small town or not, no matter where he went, people would always sidestep away from him because he spent time in prison. He liked people keeping their distance. The less people in his business, the better. What he didn't like hearing was how it drew people to Christina, instead of frightening them away.
"That's one thing you're going to have to deal with, baby." He inhaled deeply, blowing the smoke out slowly. "I am who I am."
"I went my whole adult life staying away from people. When you left, you made the front page of the newspaper." She held up her fingers and quoted the air. "President of Moroad Motorcycle Club charged with being a felon in possession of a loaded weapon. Armed and dangerous."
He raised his brows. Out of his long list of crimes, carrying a pistol was the least of his concern. "Talk will settle down. It always does."
"I know." She laughed to cover a sob. "I just…"
He gave her time, but she held back. "What?"
"It hurts." She patted her chest. "Before you left none of this mattered. If people looked at me longer or whispered, I ignored them because I had you to come home to. I don't have you anymore."
"I'm here."
She tilted her head. "Are you? Cause since you've been home it feels like you left the man I know back in prison and gave me someone I no longer recognize."
He hooked her neck, bringing her to his chest. "We'll get through this."

Cherished - Release Day (Michelle Hughes)

Luca Phillips dropped me to my knees with a promise …

He was sexy and confident, absolutely brilliant and Luca wanted me.  I was infatuated from the first conversation, wanting to be what he needed.  For the first time in my life I understood what it meant to desire.  All he demanded was my trust.  I’d been broken by my past and doubted I could give that gift, no matter how badly I craved him.

Luca’s world was dark when looking in from the outside, but the light in his eyes promised something more.  Hope.  Together we could change the downward spiral my life was taking.  His words.

Kneeling at his feet, handing over control, he asked one question.  How far are you willing to go to be….
