R. S. Markel is the author and illustrator of the heartwarming Lillybeth and Hinsberth series. An insatiably curious polymath, he is a co-author of academic publications in three disciplines who rediscovered his passion for writing and illustration with the approach of his avid book-loving daughter’s sixth birthday. So enamored was she with the stories he would invent and the piles of books gathered from frequent walks to the local library that he decided to write a short story with a meaningful message to give as a special gift.
