A Glimpse of DEAD GIRL IN LOVE

DEAD GIRL IN LOVE new by you.

SNEAK PREVIEW OF DEAD GIRL IN LOVE -- When Amber goes out-of-body with a dead guy.

“You’re scaring me,” I whispered, closing my eyes and focusing on his voice. For a bad guy, he wasn’t so bad.

“Don’t worry, I can fix everything. Take this.” His strong callused fingers intertwined with my own, tingling with familiar warmth that felt friendly, not frightening. I heard the rustling paper and smelled the sweet cocoa aroma of chocolate. He pressed a square of

DEAD GIRL IN LOVE is out!!!

DEAD GIRL IN LOVE is available for order and should show in bookstores soon!

I got an advance copy a few days ago -- surprised that the cover has changed slightly so the shadowed couple are merged together --  more sophisticated and artsy.

But there was a glitch, too: instead of a glossy cover it's matte.  Since future printings will be glossy, this first printing could someday be a collector's item (when I get famous <G>) Just being optimistic...but that's just who I am.

And FYI about DEAD GIRL

Intense! DRAGONFLY!

I have a new book trailer for DON'T DIE DRAGONFLY created by a teen (daughter of writer)
who is starting up AIR PRODUCTIONS and (at this point) only charging $50.

I think she did a good job and she was quick plus willing to make changes
when I requested them. Here's the final product:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVtIerHabRo

If you want to email Andie about a book trailer:

Highlights of Mexican cruise with my Family

Ever been on a cruise?  My family enjoys them so we've done a lot.

Here's a short version (short compared to 7 pages in my journal!) of our 7 day cruise:

July 5, 2009  DAY ONE OF MEXICAN CRUISE
My hubby David and I traveled with my parents plus my son Andy and my niece Jill (she loves to read YA!). Got into our rooms and had to hurry for lifeboat drill. After eating, we walked all over boat, seeing golf, pools, basketball, ping-pong, climbing wall and gorgeous architechual designs.

Evening enterta

5 THINGS ON A FRIDAY

5.   Finishing rewriting for SEER #6 and will mail it to my editor/agent before leaving on vacation Sunday.

4.   Had my nails done a frosty mauve-pink.

3.   Not sure what to read next. Help me choose from these books in my 2-B-read File:
SEA CHANGE by Aimee Friedman or STRANGE ANGELS by Lili St. Crow

2.  I have a cold and stuffy nose -- not supposed to in the summer! Annoying.

1.  I had a letter from a mom who reads YA books with her 13 year old. Her letter really made my day!

Since Savannah ... Back 2 Real Life...and an OUCH!

Savannah with Gothic Girls was like living out a fantasy -- I mean, being with WRITERS! YA WRITERS...wow.

But I'm back home now.

Here's what I've been doing....

CAMPING....Packed 5th wheel then went to Sugar Pine Campground. Walked, read and talked. Mom/Dad & other family came so we had nice big group. On Saturday we had our traditional pancake-bacon breakfast . My brother came later with the kayak for just the day.

And then came the...no. not zombies...but a flesh-scarring moment....

 While I was wa

Some Savannah post-Gothic Girl fun

The Gothic Girls stayed here: Robert Low House where Gothic Girls stayed
The historic Robert Low house may look small but it has a second floor, 3 bedrooms, spacious kitchen, dining room and living room. I stayed in the master bedroom downstairs with fantstic roomie Dawn.

Jackson taught me how to post pictures here -- I hope it works!

Here's a picture we asked a stranger to take with my camera -- the only time the whole group was photographed:

GOTHIC GIRLS in Savannah: PART 3 (end of trilogy)

SUNDAY:  Book store trip to Savannah B/Noble and Booksamillion, some stock signed. Later at the house, Jackie made tacos for the group. Dawn painted art on arms and faces. Jackie drew body-art with a Twilight theme. Maggie is an artist, too, plus song-writer. I am in awe of all these talented girls.

MONDAY: Worked on my laptop in the sultry sun room surrounded by stained glass windows and flowering trees. Across the alley cats roam freely but are too wild to get close (yes, I tried).

The group d
