Sarah Darling was born in Surrey to a Cockney mother and Romany Gypsy father. A great deal of moving around was part of growing up due to her father's time in the British Army. Her first but short career was in the W.R.A.F. where she received a Distinguished Pass, she left to get married and have a family. Years passed and a change in direction came about to fit in with the raising of her children. Upon return to college and University Sarah studied to become a teacher of Sign Language. I love writing and to think that people really do want to read my thoughts is a wonderful feeling - bordering on exhilaration!(less)

First Review on next book

I'm so excited and thrilled that Nigel Goodall, a top celebrity biographer, has enjoyed reading the first few chapters of my new book, not yet released of course as I haven't finished it, of 'Utter Filth'. When it meets the approval of such an accomplished writer - I know I'm on the right track!
