The Word FANTASTIC vs FINE
The use of a Fantastic or a positive word is all it takes to change the vibration within in you to bring about a positive change. I’m not saying that it’s easy at times, which it’s not. However with practice, believing and determination words can and will shift your state of mind. Yes, words have been around forever, Fantastic has been around forever don’t let that fool you, it’s your mind telling you differently that there is no meaning, or that it’s just a word, STOP right there. The mind trust what you tell it, I should know I have been there. Fantastic was only word I want to say when I was knee deep in adversity.
Give it a try, find a word that touches your heart and moves you into action, then repeat that word over and over and believe it, in time there will be a shift and you will feel it at all times just as Fantastic does for me. There were times that no matter what I tired Fantastic did not work, I kept pushing forward. In the long run Fantastic won, because my soul and I believed more in the word and the vibration, then what the emotion of sadness tried to convince me.
For 11 years I have been practicing and saying FANTASTIC everyday 30 to 100 times a day and Yes it works. Fantastic has gotten me out of some pretty tough spots over the years, especially the lose of my wife, love affair, closing 25 year company, mother’s death, bankrupts, father’s death and drinking. Fantastic and the energy has always been there even when I was faced with hardship.
You can either try this exercise and believe in it or you can stay were you are at. What do you have to lose. There will come a time where you will need to chose or go back to your old way. Some have tried it and stop, went back to there old words. Try it, if you are not sure of a word visit “Positive Words” .

The Art of the Giving Tree
The art of giving tree came about some 6 years ago, in 2007 when I first discovered Mile Hi Church. I was directed by a neighbor friend to go visit Mile Hi Church. I was facing some hard times of business failing, father dying and drinking heavily. The first day at Mile Hi I signed up to be part of the Outreach team which is headed by the care ministry. The first project on team was inspired by the Giving Tree tradition. From there the team supports many other projects. To be part of this superior team is what called me sign up the first day and continue to serve. These dedicated individuals who are so passionate in helping families that are struggling due to hardship. This project could not happen without the help of the congregation and the church.
Each year I look forward to the art of the giving tree, especially the time with my kids. every year the kids help with the giving tree project along with two of their friends. They love helping and being part of the project. It gives them a sense of serving others, just as I love being of service.
Being part of the team has become my family, and they inspire me. There support throughout the years has been wonderful, kind and loving. I love each one of them very deeply. At times I’ve had to skip some of the meetings as life seems to get in the way, other times sadness emotions have gotten in the way. I keep pushing forward knowing they will pass. When I first was introduced to this team I could have sworn God had put me in the wrong place. There were mostly women and one other man and I were it. Since then the team has grown to many men and women.

Fantastic Black Friday Experience from the Heart
All week I kept telling myself that I’m going to experience Fantastic Black Friday. That is exactly what I did, at first it took some courage to go Black Friday, as I hate crowded places. Donna and her two other sisters loved Black Friday, it was the hip of the evening and the next day. Donna would nearly have all the kids shopping done. On the other hand after Donna was killed, it was extremely difficult for me to shop for the kids. Boy did I find it hard buying them gift. The good news it has gotten somewhat easier.

Funny Things That Just Come Out
It’s funny how things just come out of our mouth at the oddest moments. Well I had one of those moments while up in Vail installing a drapery job. We happen to be working in the last room, the master bedroom. That is where it got really funny when the words just come out unexpectedly.
Laughing at the Silly Stuff that Comes Out of Our Mouths
The more I laugh at myself the more freer I become from being me, and getting through the strife of life. It has been through growth workshops that has gotten me to be where I’m. See the good in life and all of the wonders around.

Outreach Team What a Difference It Makes at Mile High Church
Six years ago I discovered Mile Hi Church after a friend told me to check it out. I sobered up long enough and made it there the next Sunday. The first day I intuitively was told to sign up for the outreach team and been there ever since. It was through the following years at Mile Hi Church that made a big impact on my life, learning to be my authentic self, loving self after wife was killed, and learning to love life again by getting excited and spreading enthusiasm. Learning to opening up to all the dark shadows that I hid behind. Once I owned up to the shadow, the shadow no longer held me captive. It’s about being truthful.

Keeping the Doubt Out
Wow, what a week of trying to keep positive after daughters auto accident. So many worried, so much doubt, so much negative from others that I had to stop and zip up my lips. I know that its going to workout, wasn’t easy. We need to focus on the good, versus always looking at the worst. It can become difficult what you are surrounded my others opinions. You have to STOP and knock out the negative.

Single Father Shopping Adventure with Kids
I must say it’s always been adventure to go shopping with my kids. Especially shopping for my daughter’s necessities in life was interesting adventure. I made a choice that I would step-up care for them after their mother was killed. I made a pack with self that would not push them away if I was uncomfortable in areas I knew nothing about. This was a big adventure when daughter needed her first training bra and many other necessities. What does a dad to do? I created fantastic energy and built up the courage took her to the store when needed whether I was uncomfortable or not. Watch the video and laugh as the adventure begins again.

Staying Fantastic During Adversity
Keeping up the energy of Fantastic has had it’s moments during adversity after daughter was involved in auto accident. Keeping the energy and optimistic was challenging at times, to be still and know that’s going to work out. It’s during these times we must bunker and close off our thoughts and know everything will workout, even if our mind tells us differently. Practice shutting up the negativity, seeing the good through the adversity and know good will come out it. Watch the video and learn the outcome.

There are No Failures; Only Experiences and Gifts
The last few months my editor Melanie Mullan with DragonHeart has been work through what I had written for the book “Fantastic”. I had asked her what her opinion of the theme of the book was. What she said was right on. What disturbed me was the word “failure” it grips my heart in pain, it also means I have some work to do on myself. I know I’m more then that. Never give in nor give up. Look at failures as experience and see the gifts.
