Bread On The Table
"Life is not easy." This is a common phrase that we often heard from many lips. I agree with it. That's true that life is hard. What makes life is so hard? We live from a day to the next day to meet our needs or expectations. We must work hard to achieve those. But, should we fight with others to get these? Or let it be whatever falls to our laps?
I am watching a Korean drama titled "Queens of Reversals". I feel connected to this drama because it told us how to be successful by stealing other's ideas, or trick others to stay ahead of the competition. There are many ways to be successful beside work hard and play fairly. I like to quote one of the character's saying "I just want to be able to provide bread on the table for my family. Send my daughter to college. Buy my wife few things she likes. Save money for a retirement. I don't have to be a successful to achieve those. Very simple."
Yeah! Right, it might seems very simple. Reality check, we must work hard to get all those very simple basic things. We can work hard and play fairly or play tricks and steal other people's ideas. It is our own choice. But if I meet that cross road which one should I take? No second thought, I'll take the work hard and play fairly in competitions to reach the finish line. It shows what kind of person we are when it comes to the decision between life or death. May God bless you all.
