Einstein Story and Book Launch!

Get a Job WITHOUT an Interview6
Authors with CEO & Founder, Narasimha I Darshan, Businessman I Philip, Cuppa Koramangala I Sudhir, Programme Manager at Helix Biolabs

Authors view (Santosh Avvannavar and Raghavendra Kumar Reddy): The idea to project took nearly 7 years (writing and publication took nearly 2 years), we were always fascinated with the slick book that were clear, specific and precise (minimal filler). A unconventional book that is likely to break the Q&A format and provide a framework to begin. Why such book are important for a long term career goal? We like to tell this through a story -

Einstein won nobel prize for physics, many ears waited earnestly to hear his innovation each and everyone in those days. Very often Einstein would get invited by a university to speak about his innovation and motivate others. His driver would wonder seeing the crazy people had for him, cheered ‘Einstein, Einstein..’ as he walked into the auditorium. The driver used to hear the same presentation each day and wondered, if one could get nobel prize by giving such talk – why can’t I? He proposed a deal with his master that he could present like him and deserves to win a nobel prize. Einstein was happy and curious to see if his driver could take his position. Einstein became driver and the driver became Einstein as a trial. As media wasn’t popular, people weren’t aware how Einstein would really look like. The driver was made to look like Einstein and Einstein took the driver seat. As the driver walked into the auditorium, people cheered ‘Einstein, Einstein..’, he was overwhelmed by the people response. Einstein was surprised and happy to see his driver making presentation just like him. At the end of talk, the driver (Einstein at moment) was about a take his seat, a lady got up from her seat to ask a doubt. Driver didn’t know the Einstein is awarded nobel for his technical contribution over only mere a presentation. The doubt was, ‘If a ball is made to move from one end of the earth through a hole and the ball has to come through another hole….”. Driver presence of mind was something to admire, after listening to the question he quipped,’Lady, you are asking a very simple question to a nobel prize winner, my driver can answer such question.’ He asked his driver (Einstein) to answer this question. Jokes apart! The story is an example of Einstein innovation over failure is the result of nobel prize, the prize was worth because it was clear, concise and precise. Hence the number of pages doesn’t define a value of book!

Adhuri Prem Kahaniya Review: Captivating love stories of tender Adolescents

Book coverFascinating tales told in an enchanting fashion is ‘Adhuri Prem Kahaniya’. Tender moments of first love have induced artists of all times to weave fine pieces literature and other forms. Novels and movies of that sort ever attract thumbing hearts of readers or viewers trouncing the divide of old and new. APK is a collection of 12 love stories with laudable freshness and charm.

As the title indicates, the author narrates romance of some adolescents with the flights and falls happening in the love life. The remarkable character of the book is the captivating mode of presentation and the lively language that suit well to the romantic content. These are the stories about young people and apparently targeting the young lot. The book provides with a familiarity feeling to them as the story is told in such a beautiful way with a lot of peer group adages.

The author has cleverly used popular Bollywood dialogues being aware of the large appeal of the Bollywood movies among the youth. The overall narration is humorous and the love failures are recounted in a witty manner. At some occasions, the musings of a deserted lover may leave a chuckle for the readers. Some other stories transmit the hurt feelings of the inflamed hearts.

We will be wonder struck reading the embittered lover mourning over the futility of romance falls for another girl in the next week itself! That is the mood of an adolescent boy as depicted in APK. It is interesting and charming, but the reader may fall into the conclusion more than once in the process of reading that these are the stories of infatuation.

These are the depiction of lovely adolescent moments of life with an amusing edge. Except some glimpses of mature love relationships, these stories share the mood of colorful adolescent life.

These are the love stories narrated by boys or told from the viewpoints of the boy partners in the romance. The tag in the cover page of the book, “the weakness of a man is the strength of a woman”, clearly validates this assumption.

The art of falling in love in the eyes of an Indian boy is what we see in these stories. I was amused with a thought about a second part of ‘Adhuri Prem Kahaniya’ told from the perspective of girl lovers. Santosh Avvannavar’s literary vigour exhibited in this book perceptibly promises the potential for many such creative works.

Lonely Animal : Dear Wife, Your Husband is not a Superhero

From today onwards we bring series of articles on marriages -

(Excerpts from the book, “Dear Wife, Your Husband is not a Superhero” available at A4dable.in and Amazon.in)

download (14)Chapter 1: Lonely Animal

Some people believe that marriage is important to take away loneliness, have companion, or its norm. There could be various other views to it. Statistics (not to accuracy) show that there are 11 marriages that end up in a legal separation in our country. However, the divorce rates are rising with the following sample brief:

Delhi update*

1960′s – 1-2 divorce cases per year
1980′s – 100-200 divorce cases per year
1990′s – 1,000 divorce cases per year
This decade (2000 – A great jump to 9,000 divorce cases per year)

Mumbai update*

In 2007, almost 7,000 divorce cases had been filed in the family courts of Mumbai. This number was expected to rise to 7,200 by the end of that year. This figure stands at 60% more than the divorce cases filed in 2005. 70% of the divorce cases were filed by individuals in the age group of 25-35. 85% of the marriages ended in divorce in the first three years of marriage.

Reasons for high divorce rates in India*

Some of the reasons for rising divorce rates in India are listed below:

Greater acceptance of divorce in the society has led to couples being more comfortable with the idea of divorce.
Big cities or the metros give the advantage of anonymity by which divorced couples can manage to avoid the glares of judgmental family members and friends.
People today, tend to have a comparatively more casual approach towards marriage and do not work as hard to save it in case of any problems in the relationship.
DINKS couples (Double Income No Kids) are not worried about how the divorce may negatively impact the children’s lives.
Stress as well as lack of time for life partners is another important factor leading to increasing divorce rates.
Women are now at par with men in financial terms and do not feel the need to depend on their husbands for their financial needs. Men are also good with their domestic responsibilities and do not need to depend on women for the same. These changing gender roles has also impacted the divorce rates in India.

Do people real want to seek divorce from each other ? OR Do they want to “divorce” the form of marriage?

Rather they’ve been written with a specific goal , to enlighten the readers about those  things of everyday life which we seldom notice or realize , be it the absence of love and depth in relationship between husband and wife or  minor health issues leading to bigger problems .
