Athena's Daughters 2 anthology has been released!
Not only am I happy to be a part of this anthology that features female protagonists, and is written, illustrated, and published by women, but I'm especially honored that my hard sci-fi story "The Flowers of Cenene" was included. I've written hard sci-fi before, but I more typically stick with fantasy, so I was very pleased that this story passed muster with the AD2 editors, one of whom (Maggie) works on the James Webb Space Telescope for NASA, and the other (Janine) who flies C-130s for the Marine Corps.
Athena's Daughter's 2, an anthology of 21 women's original stories ranging from fantasy to sci-fi, is available now in ebook from Amazon and will soon be out in print.

Thought for the day...

Finn Fancy Necromancy
So I just bought my friend Randy Henderson's book, Finn Fancy Necromancy (on Audible, of course, 'cause that's the only way I get any reading done), though it's available in all the usual places. I told him I did it because of the picture of his dog Maxie being cute, but the NPR book review had a little to do with it too.
