Interview with Jason Lloyd
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?I grew up in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania, a little over an hour outside of Philadelphia. My family moved to the Lehigh Valley area when I was 12. In most of my writing I talk about the areas I am from.When did you first start writing?I always wrote short stories and poems. Poetry was big for me through high school and college, but I decided to pursue Graphic Design. I ended up coming back to writing because I love it so much.Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?The first story I ever wrote was about my Dad's passing from cancer. He died when I was 5. Even at a young age I still had memories from the day my mother told me. I wrote that story for an english class. It was so heartfelt, that my teacher shared it with other factuality.Read the rest here.
