Mixed Tape Poetry Artwork

Attention all artists and doodlers!

I am working on a poetry book called Mixed Tape (poems, quotes, & other stuff). The book is planned to be released in the summer of 2015! I'm currently looking for artwork to pair with poems and quotes from the book. A paperback edition is definitely in the works and an ebook is possible.

Submissions are open to all ages and every level of artistic ability. This poetry book is about expression of emotions and this artwork will add to the experience.

Requirements:

Artwork submissions MUST be black and white (examples: pen and ink or pencil drawings. Pencil drawings may be made darker in contrast so it resembles pen and ink.)Theme is Mixed Tape. Artwork submission MUST contain a cassette tape somewhere in the piece. Please do not put any font in your piece. Your name will be added in a font in the book itself. Please do not sign the artwork. Artist's website or a social media link may be added per your request under your name.Image size: submission can be any size BUT image will be shrunken down to max 2.5 width with a height usually no bigger than 3. Make sure it will look good when it's shrunken down to fit in the book.Submit jpeg photos only. High resolution is preferred. Scanned artwork is fine. What will happen to your artwork?If your submission is selected (not every piece will be selected due to space, sorry.) it will be paired with a poem, quote, or thought.

Writer's Block

So, I have hit a wall... a big brick wall! I'm almost done writing The Garden of Fibs and Sin (Filthy Fibbers, Prequel) and I'm blocked by this wall. 
I have taken a small break from the project in hopes that when I return, I will have fresh eyes and great ideas. These last two chapters have to be epic, so the pressure is on. Unfortunately, I will have to delay the publication date. 
In order to get those creative juices flowing, I have been writing down every thought that comes to mind and working on redesigning my "brand." You'll see Jason Lloyd Books received a facelift, but also did my NSFW Blog, http://queerdirtylaundry.com.

Recently I have been working on poetry and I'm happy to announce there will be a poetry book released in the near future. I started writing with poetry and I find it very personal. The book is already being formatted. It looks beautiful! I'll have more info on it after The Garden of Fibs and Sin comes out.
