I lost a lot of the joy that came with writing, and while I’m slowly making my way back to a headspace in which I can create with less anxiety, I don’t know when that will happen, and I don’t feel comfortable making promises I can’t keep. I’m chronically ill (fibromyalgia) so it takes longer for me than most people to write a book, and it’s harder to project end times.Currently, the project I’ve been developing is A SPY NEVER SURRENDERS, which would be the next Covert Heiresses book. You all have been very patient waiting for it, and I’m sorry it’s taken so long. While I now have a working outline, I’m not sure how long it will take me to write, or when I will get to write it.I want to thank every single one of you delightful readers who have expressed love and concern for me, and who have left reviews and sent me awesome notes about my books. Copyediting has given me the joy, balance, and freedom I was looking for in publishing. So yes, I’m doing awesome.My husband and I also made a big step toward accomplishing a huge goal for our family: we became licensed to foster kids in the state of North Carolina as of August 2021. We are hoping to adopt from foster care, and currently are awaiting placement. This has obviously taken up a lot of our time. I’m really excited to tell you that my books will now be available in Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish. Currently, you can see what books are available in each language here.

The entire Gothic Brides (NOIVAS GÓTICAS) series has been translated into Portuguese, along with the first Covert Heiresses (COVARD HEIRESSES). Upcoming will be the Rookery Rogues series in Portuguese as well!

In Spanish, we’ve got the first Gothic Brides (NOVIAS GÓTICAS) and the first Covert Heiresses (HEREDERAS ENCUBIERTAS). Upcoming will be the Rookery Rogues books as well.

In Italian, we have the first Gothic Brides (LE SPOSE DELL’ARCANO) and the first Covert Heiresses (EREDITIERE SOTTO COPERTURA). Upcoming will be the Rookery Rogues books as well.

I usually try and work with the same translator throughout the series, though that sometimes isn’t possible due to deadlines and translator schedules. It’s my hope in the future to release books in French, German, and Dutch as well. The Rookery Rogues on audio

I’m thrilled to tell you that the first two books in the Rookery Rogues series are available now on audiobook! Narrated by Fiona Honan-Bowes of Nonsuch Productions (the same narrator as used in I SPY A DUKE), the audio recording really brings to life my dark, gritty depictions of London’s underworld. I am over the moon at how the production turned out, and I can’t wait to share with you Fiona’s recording of the last two books in the series, BEAUTY AND THE RAKE and STEALING THE ROGUE’S HEART. Production on BEAUTY AND THE RAKE is almost finished and then you’ll be able to listen to Michael and Abigail’s steamy Beauty and the Beast tale.
