Two Books in 7 Months – Diminished is Here

When my publisher announced that they would be upping my release date for my second novel, Diminished, I had a mixture of feelings. On the one hand: Diminished is a summer story so it makes sense for it to be released in August when the heat is annoyingly present. On the other: two books in seven months? That seems like a lot. And it was, it is. It’s been so much work. But we’re at last coming to the other side of it all.

Summer, O Summer – Update!

This has been the most rainy, dreary spring. While the winter ended very early and the temperature jumped, they didn’t continue to rise. While the snow flurries stopped, rain came in its place. From mid-November on, we didn’t have a single full weekend with sunshine. Every weekend for seven months had at least one day of rain (or snow in the winter months). Here in the Finger Lakes, we’ve had a strange winter with plenty of snow, but not much accumulation. What snow we have gotten has been so dry it’s like fluff and completely unfun.
