A good option for entering would be to sign up for my newsletter. That will be starting in a month or so, and it'll be fun. But it won't be every week. Don't worry. I'm taking over Drue's Random Chatter's page on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. EDT, so come and have some fun with us! It should be a good time. I can be quite entertaining when I try, and I usually try. And the countdown begins in three . . .

We're almost there. It's almost time. Join us on May 19, 2014 as we celebrate the launch of the newest release, Book 3 in the Love Under Construction series, Renovating a Heart!

It's followed by a blog tour, of course, and all brought to you by Drue's Random Chatter, my awesome promotional partners. Come along, have some fun, and read the amazing reviews. And don't forget to enter the drawing. What am I giving away? Well, other than books (of course), I'm definitely giving away a

Kindle Paperwhite!
Enter to win! (And I hope you do.)

In other news, between 4:30 p.m. on May 14 and 2:00 a.m. on May 16, I wrote over 24,000 word in the new/last volume of the series, Book 4. Planning an Addition will be coming out in October or November of 2014. It's the last volume in the Love Under Construction series, but you'll be able to keep up with your favorite characters in the spin-off novella series, the Citadel series. Those three volumes will get you closer to Doug, Jared, and Wendy, employees of Citadel Security whom you've met over the course of the original series, but you'll still hear from Tony, Vic, Laura, and everyone else you've come to know and love. Will you hear from Nikki? If you read Renovating a Heart, you'll know why I ask that question. And if I keep writing 12,000 words per day, you might see the new series sooner than we think!

Keep reading. There's always something new. There's a new Harper's Cove coming soon, so be on the lookout. Happy reading!

I need a seatbelt

I did it again yesterday. I wrote 12,282 words in the next Love Under Construction series book, Planning an Addition. This will be the last one in the original series. I'm loving what's going on in the book so far. One character you've come to love has to make a decision that will change his moral viewpoint forever. Another has to do something that will make some of you cry and others smile, depending on your personal preference. And two more face a monster that might just be unconquerable, even though their love for each other is as strong or stronger than it's ever been. Into the mix will be thrown five small, innocent lives whose foundations have been ripped out from under them; they're depending on the adults in the group to do the right thing, and that's going to be challenging, but maybe not as challenging as it originally seems. To top it off, a scoundrel comes crawling on his knees with his hat in his hands; wonder if that's going to work out for him?

Guess you'll just have to read it to find out. It'll be out in late October or early November, and already it's setting the stage for the Citadel series, a novella series following the end of the LUC series that will follow six characters we've met in earlier books. So hang on - there's more coming.

Today I'll work on the next Harper's Cove novella, which is about forty percent written. It's going to be another quick, fun read that takes you back to the neighborhood where you've already met Karen, Brett, Becca, Greg, Donna, and Connor. You'll have to wait until it comes out to find out who won the naming competition. I can barely stand it!

And remember: Renovating a Heart goes live on Monday, May 19th. Join us for the release blitz and blog tour, and remember to enter the drawing for a

Kindle Paperwhite!
Yeah, that's big. So good luck!

Here's how it will work

I know the ones of you who suggested names for the next Harper's Cove volume are wondering, "Were my names chosen?" Here's how that's going to work.

I'm working on the book. Once it's done and published, I'll announce the name of the book and the name of the person who submitted the names. And how am I going to choose?

Slips of paper drawn out of a bag. Because it's the American way, right? Exactly. And I have a question to ask of those who submitted names (by the way, if you haven't, you still can). Do you want your name in the credits for the book? I realize some people might not want their name in the front of a volume of erotica, and I'm cool with that. So if you wouldn't want your name used, just let me know by replying under your entry. If I don't hear from you, I'll assume it's okay with you. Of course, there will be no last name used, just first name and a last initial if that's okay with you.

In other news, Amazon finally posted the new cover for The Celtic Fan in the Kindle store. Took 'em long enough. It's beautiful. If you haven't seen it, here it is:

I love the look in her eyes, don't you? Yeah. So pretty. Anyway, if you haven't read it yet, it's a lovely, heartwarming read with just the right amount of spice. Yum.

I'm off to get into my usual level of trouble for the day. Have a great one!

Here's a winner from the cover reveal!

We have another winner, this time from the cover reveal. Our winner?

Jamielee K.!
Jamielee gets the ebook of her choice from the Love Under Construction series (signed, of course). The release day blitz is right around the corner - May 19 - and the the blog tour will follow. This blog tour is going to be too much fun! We've got all kinds of really neat things that'll show up on these blogs, from 20 Fun Facts to interviews to a Dream Cast for the characters. You won't want to miss it!

And don't forget - come along for the blog tour and enter to win a

Kindle Paperwhite!
That's right, it's up for grabs. Enter for your chance to win. There are lots of ways to enter, and for every way you enter you get another chance to win.

Here's something I wanted to share with you. Look what showed up yesterday!

Yeah, proof copies! And they're beautiful. I'm so happy with them that I looked through them carefully and then went to Createspace and gave them the go-ahead. Nicely done, and they look great thanks to Novel Graphic Designs. I've got more to do. I'm waiting for the cover art for the new combo volume of The Groundbreaking and Tearing Down Walls so I can publish that, and I've got everything I need to publish Renovating a Heart except time! Well, and then there's the issue of the release date . . . Anyway, it's all rolling along. I'm stoked!

And I haven't forgotten. As soon as I get a chance, I'm pulling all of your suggestions for the names of the next two characters in the Harper's Cove series, putting them in a bag, and drawing them out. That'll be fun and I'll announce it here!

Join us on May 19. Renovating a Heart is already getting great reviews. I can't wait for everyone to get a chance to read it.

So stay tuned!

Who do you see?

I'm going to do a "dream cast" for the blog tour. Some of the bloggers and reviewers have requested it. I'm working on it, but I was wondering: When you think about Tony, Nikki, Vic, Laura, Steve . . . who do you see? In your mind, what do they look like? I'd be really interested in knowing. You've probably thought of some that I haven't. I think I've finally found Tony and Nikki, and I already had Vic, Steve, Laura, and Kelly. I've got Brittany too. So tell me what YOU think, who YOU see when you think of them. I'd love to know.

And remember, on May 19 you get to find out for yourself who lives, who loves, who dies (maybe), and who's involved in the cliffhanger. Get the tissues and get ready.

It's here!

I'm so excited to give you this, the cover of Renovating a Heart, Book 3 in the Love Under Construction series. It's due out May 19 and it's a great read carrying on a great story line.

You'll love this book - it's all sex and danger and broken hearts. And it ends in a cliffhanger - not for the two characters featured in this book, but for a character you've grown to know and love from the very beginning. Join the fun and don't forget to enter the giveaway for a free

Kindle Paperwhite!
But you have to enter to win!

Here's a couple of announcements. First, I'll be starting my newsletter in the very near future. There will be some kind of giveaway in it every month, so if you haven't signed up, you might want to. And second, my street team has been born! Deanndra's Construction Crew is a reality and if you don't mind working hard to pimp me out, I'll put on my hooker shoes and let you! If you're serious about my books and getting them into the hands of the masses, let me know and I can make you a member of the crew.

Come back on May 19. It's going to be a week of fun!

Get involved!

I'm working on a new Harper's Cove novella and I've hit a wall. I need names. Actually, the characters need names. I tentatively named them Siobhan and Aidan McAllister, but I've decided I don't like those names.

What would YOU name them if you could? Because you CAN! I want to see what you come up with, and one set of names will become the names of the couple in the next book. Just comment here with ideas and I'll pick one. You have to have a man and woman's name and a last name, the whole kit and kaboodle. Let's hear how creative you can be.

And if you're lucky, there'll be a prize. What could it be? Maybe a signed copy of the book when it's done with your name listed as a contributor? Wouldn't that be fun!!!! So go for it. Let me hear your creativity roar!
