Walking History off the Page
Reblogged from Victoria Adams' Reading Alcove:
I have a friend on Facebook who always delights me with the bits and pieces she finds that relate to the visual and performing arts and all facets of history. I have learned much from the results of her gleaning and it prompted me to ask her if she had a blog. "No? No blog? Oh, dear. Well, would you like to guest star on mine?" I am sure it will not take her long to outgrow a position as a contributing author, but while we have her to ourselves let us enjoy some of the gems she finds in that vast ocean of information we call the Internet.
Remembering: I Believe there are Angels Among Us
Reblogged from Tracee Ford, Author:
Today is September 11, 2013. It has been 12 years since our country was attacked. Each year I watch the documentaries and each time I cry sympathetic tears for the families affected by that day; tears for our nation and our soldiers. Some ask why I watch the documentaries if I react the way I do. Some have said, "Why do that to yourself?" or "Why put yourself through that?" It’s because each time I watch the programs I feel like I am paying my respects.
Prayers and thoughts go out to these families that lost loved ones.

Hey, welcome back! I'm excited this week because Book #5 in my Fab Five series is coming out in just a few days, on the 22nd! This is the book that will stay with you long after you turn that last page. It was difficult for me to write, and several times I had to get up and walk away and return to it later.
On Becoming A Writer
Reblogged from Share Your Articles:
I've been asked to write an article on writing. Since writing is one of my favorite things to do, this should be a piece of cake, right? Well, we'll see.
I'm often asked how I can put out so many books in such a short time. Granted, I still work a full time Monday through Friday job, so this isn't always an easy task.
Hume's Guillotine
Reblogged from Poesy plus Polemics:
(The Is-Ought Problem)
A philosopher Scotsman, by name DavidHume,
Held recondite principles brooking no room
For systems of ethics derived, with prescription,
From experienced truths cast in rational diction,
Impossible, Hume said, that reason alone
Could deduce right or wrong from what facts may be known,
"What ought to be" severed from "what is" near clean,
Impassioned belief the lone tendon between,
