Do You Have A Dream?
Reblogged from Sharon Cummings:
http://fineartamerica.com/featured/al...
I've always had a goal or two in my mind. Over the years my visualizations have changed, but one thing has stayed constant. I've ALWAYS dreamed. Dreaming plays an important role in our lives. It helps us cope with the stresses of life by taking us to places that are safe and comfortable. It gives our brain a much needed rest.
59 More Slang Phrases From The 1920s We Should Start Using Again
Reblogged from Thought Catalog:
I learned a couple things from the response to my article on slang phrases from the 1920s. Number first: The Roaring Twenties really did have the coolest vernacular ever. However, I also found out that the internet loves the 1920s as much as I do -- except for the overt racism, ban on alcohol and regressive gender politics, of course.

An Interview ~ With Sirena Robinson on Devil's Dilemma
Reblogged from Victoria Adams' Reading Alcove:
Every so often I like to talk to an author friend and get their impressions on the story they wish to tell and what motivates them to tell it in a particular way. As it happens, Sirena Robinson is a colleague of mine at PDMI Publishing, LLC. As our team has worked through the production of her book I have become a bit familiar with the author, the tale and some of the motivations.
Great author..check it out.

The Way We Think ~ Objective vs. Subjective
Reblogged from Victoria Adams' Reading Alcove:
This is a new type of post for the Reading Alcove. It is a corner devoted to talking about the tools we use to think. The ways in which we determine what we choose to believe, and what we should require to change those beliefs.
Philosophy (love of wisdom) is not some academic exploration of questions that few have time to deal with.

Who Am I?
Reblogged from Andrea Zug at Lancers, Inc.:
What a delightful afternoon, warm and sunny with just the hint of a breeze. As you walk down the street you notice a small sign in the window of a little shop. The sign asks: Do you know who I am? Perhaps if you had been in a hurry. If there was shopping that just had to be done and dinner to prepare.

Refections ~ The Shapes of Reality
Reblogged from Victoria Adams' Reading Alcove:
The sky is green
The grass in blue
It’s lunch at 9
And dinner at 2
If we’re hungry
It must be Monday
I’m sure there’s a word
Must be in the laundry
Did he, him or her
Take us to the store?
Am I he, him or her?
I haven’t a clue
Where did it go?
Just a moment ago…

Dearg-Due..... An Irish Vampire
Reblogged from EdMooneyPhotography:
''Hell Hath no fury, like a woman scorned''.
We all know that the Author of the most famous Vampire Dracula, was the Irish writer Bram Stoker. In fact we can also claim Sheridan Le Fanu who wrote the novella, "Carmilla". Le Fanu is known to have drawn on his Irish homeland for his early stories. Many historians have noted that Carmilla is the first true Vampire novel ever created, and was probably a big influence on Bram Stoker.
