I Started a YouTube Channel!
After being super active in the comments of multiple AuthorTube livestreams (and co-hosting one—in 2 parts because of technical difficulties), I’ve finally decided to start an AuthorTube channel. Below is the first video! Please, comment, like, and subscribe on the video page! Instead of only writing daily July 2020 Camp NaNo updates, I’ve also decided to do daily vlogs. It’ll be a lot of work, but I think I can manage it.

New Beginnings
A few days ago, I got the urge to start writing a different story on my story idea list (it has over 30 on it, but 4 of them include the books in The Belgrave Legacy series). I’m nowhere near done with the first draft of Obscure Origin yet (like I had hoped to be). But this other project that’s calling me, Free Falling, is also the first book in a New Adult romance trilogy. Instead of SciFi, however, it’s […]

Flows
After a rather pitiful week of writing, I have come back to Obscure Origin with a passion. Instead of being paralyzed by the countdown to Camp NaNo, I seem to have gotten my second wind on this project, and now I’ve been on a roll (as you can see from my latest Instagram posts): I also need to point out that I’ve never written more than 1k two days in a row (which I did—the second day is when I […]

Book Review: A Sacrifice in the Smoke by Jessi Elliott & K.J. Sutton
Read my reviews for the earlier books My Review I’ve loved all the books so far, but I cannot contain my excitement about the latest installment. And I do say latest and not last because the cat is finally out of the bag: Charlie Travesty will return in 2021 with more volumes! In the meantime, The first Charlie Travesty print book (including volumes 1-4), will be published July 7! But let’s talk about the actual book. Things are getting worse […]

Ebbs
I barely wrote anything this past week. Less than 600 words total across 2 days in Obscure Origin. Part of this is because I was busy dealing with website issues. I did some writing in other stories on two extra days. But these are ideas I have way down in the pipeline (not before 2021, maybe not even until 2022 given my current writing pace), so I felt like I was “wasting time” even though writing scenes that I’ve been […]

Release Day Blitz: The Breakup Bucket List by Cassie Cross
Exclusive Excerpt The question startles me so badly that I kick my shoes right off my feet. I sit up quickly, pressing my hand against my chest to make sure my heart is still somewhere inside my body instead of flopping around on my blanket. Handsome impostor picks up my shoes, placing them neatly beside me. “I’m sorry I scared you,” he says with a smile that brings out this dimple in his cheek that makes him almost too cute […]

Book Review: A Memory in the Flame by Jessi Elliott & K.J. Sutton
My Review I know for a fact that A Memory in the Flame is one of the author’s favorite of the volumes so far, and I totally agree. My favorite side character from A Whisper in the Dark has officially been promoted to being a main character (no longer tertiary like in first or secondary like in the previous book), and some things I’ve been hoping would happen finally did. The character interactions fleshed out the story around the mysteries—yep, […]

Book Review: A Light in the Dusk by Jessi Elliott & K.J. Sutton
My Review I loved A Light in the Dusk, and this sequel only continued the rollercoaster that started in the first book. It took what I love from the first book, built on it, and only got better. And my favorite side character got a lot more “screen time.” In that aspect, I hadn’t dared hoped it would take a certain direction, but I’m so happy things worked out the way they did. But in another, things really went awry […]

Blog Tour: Trouble by Gabrielle G.
Exclusive Excerpt Is that an erection poking the back of my head? I ask Lars while trying to move without having my skull impaled by the boner my best friend is sporting. If you lay your head on my lap to watch TV, Na, thats the risk you take when there is a naked lady on the screen, he says, adjusting himself and adding a pillow between his dick and me. Thats ridiculous. You got laid last night. Youre such []
