Set the bar low… and everything will exceed your expectations
I promoted NIGHT OWL on these sites, among others. I feel subtly obligated to link their buttons. So here they are. These sites promote free and bargain ebooks. They promote for free. It’s nice of them, and nice for me. (Sites like these are how I got over 1000 free downloads of NIGHT OWL in five days.)
That’s right, WANTON.
I feel that this button has class.
NIGHT OWL is currently .99 cents on Amazon. That’s a fucking steal in my humble opinion, because writing is painful at best. So if you bought my book, thanks. If you’re going to buy it, cool. I’ve basically bled out at the computer for .99 cents a pop.
Incidentally, I’m pleased to say that NIGHT OWL is selling pretty well, for those who are curious. The results of this self-publishing experiment have exceeded my expectations.
Then again, my expectations are few. Set the bar low… and everything will exceed your expectations. (I apply this theory to all ventures — social, capital, romantic, the list goes on.)
