What if there was no rape or sexual harassment -- the Dinosaur Conundrum!

Suppose we lived in a world where dinosaurs lived in our forests and jungles and plains and were dangerous and frequent predators of human beings.

Do you think movies about dinosaurs eating people (like Jurassic World) would be the same experience in a world where most people have uncles and cousins and brothers and sisters and parents and children who were eaten by dinosaurs?

Of course not, the movies would be a LOT scarier and would probably have trigger warnings attached to them. The dinosaurs would probably be treated a hell of a lot less sympathetically, too, not being a fantastic beast of old but a current and horrible problem.

By the same token, I don't think there was a LOT of recreational BDSM of the fun, consensual variety going on in the American South prior to, say, 1860. I'm sure there was some, human beings are human beings and we know that the bordellos of Europe offered entertainment for gentlemen that liked to tie up, cane and flog women, or be tied up, caned and flogged, etc.

But it wouldn't be as open or accepted as it is nowadays, given that nonconsensual slavery was a thing. What's going on in the culture has a LOT to do with how accepted entertainments and behaviors of various sorts of are, including sexual kinks.

That's why I think BDSM as she is now practiced is part and parcel of the success of feminism. Because we have granted women greater freedom and autonomy over their bodies, they get to use them in a wider variety of ways, for their own profit and pleasure, and for the profit and pleasure of others.

This is something many feminists do not “get.” They think BDSM of the maledom/femsub variety is symptomatic of patriarchal control of women. They ignore women who LIKE being submissives and try to deny them agency over their own bodies and decisions, without appearing too flagrantly to do so. They say submissive women have internalized the patriarchy and are acting out that internalization. They say such women are self-hating and need to be healthier and discouraged from doing all those awful things from the era of male dominance in all things.

This is not ALL feminists. There are plenty of sex-positive feminists and others who give submissive women agency to express their sexual desires just like anyone else. That's a mistake that a lot of anti-feminists make, conflating all feminists as one group. Feminism is a HUGE tent, and there are a lot of women who call themselves feminists for a lot of different reasons. Picking a fight with ALL feminists when you've only actually got an issue with SOME feminists is stupid.

But to get back to writing -- and yes, this is all related to writing, it's not just a political screed, though I'll admit it sure sounds like one – how about we take our thought experiment one step further? What if rape and sexual harassment were rare, very rare? I mean, what if women got raped about as often as people get eaten by sharks, or alligators? We know sharks and alligators are out there, and they're dangerous animals, but very few people actually worry about being attacked by them, because it happens so very rarely.

How would women behave in such a society? How would women in OUR society look to them? And how would THEY look to women in our society?

Thinking about it yields some interesting results for the thoughtful science fiction writer, but maybe for you, too. More on that later.

Achieving Differentness That Has An Internal Logic Of Its Own

It seems like only yesterday t hat I asked readers of this blog or whatever the hell it is to think about what a society where women didn't get raped or sexually harassed any more often than they get eaten by alligators or sharks. And that's because it WAS only yesterday.

My feeling is that under such circumstances women would be a lot more open, relaxed and easygoing around men. That's because rape and sexual harassment wouldn't be a commonplace issue. Most women, even if they haven't been raped or sexually harassed, have close friends and/or relatives who have. They know it's out there, it can happen to them, very easily. That's why women are cautious around men in our culture, especially around men they don't know well. Women are always vetting men, because they HAVE to, for their own safety. Most men aren't inclined to rape or sexually harass women out of the blue, but enough men ARE inclined to do so, to cast a pall of suspicion on all the rest of men.

What if this were not the case, though? What if men simply were not interested in raping and sexually harassing women, in a society where birth control was safe, effective and readily available?

You know the answer, it's obvious. Women would be a lot more open and relaxed around men, more sexually open, too, and more sexually active. How open? It's hard to say, because nothing like this exists in any earth culture or subculture that I know of. Some subcultures are more sexually open than others – imagine the gulf of sexual expectations and experience between the child of a Hollywood movie star and the child of a poor Christian fundamentalist – but the widespread nature of sexual harassment and rape is like a wind that blows everywhere, no matter what the local weather.

I think though, that if women didn't have to worry about being assaulted, it would manifest itself at a very fundamental level, at the body language level. It would be kind of the way women act around their gay male friends, but with one important difference – there would always be the chance that she might wind up having sex with a straight male friend. The difference is, if she did, it would be consensual sex that she wanted, so a fun, positive experience.

Under these circumstances, straight women would think of straight men as being … like candy. A fun, good thing. The powerful effect of sexual desire would still be there to attract women to men as well. There would probably be a lot more of what we now call “promiscuity” but which would simply be normal sexual attraction acting in an atmosphere of safety and openness.

People from such a culture, if they were transplanted to Earth, would be noticeable. Their body language alone would give them away, without engaging in any promiscuous behavior at all.

Now let's think about the men from such a world. What would they be like? Suppose you knew, as a practical matter, that if you want to get laid you can do so easily, anytime, without spending a lot of money or going to a lot of effort. You could go out to a bar or nightclub and meet a woman who wanted to have sex as much as you did, one among many such women. How would that change things? How would you feel if a woman from our current world were to come along and just assume you were sex-starved and would rape her if you had the chance?

You'd feel insulted. Why would you rape this woman when you could fuck a woman who liked you and you liked, very easily? You're not some damn scummy rapist, you're a fun, sexy guy, all the girls you hang out with think so. You like women. Why would a woman assume such a thing about you? Yeah, it's insulting, makes you feel like less of man than you are. Your response to such a woman would probably be massive disinterest. Why would you want to put up with that shit?

Men from such a world would be noticeably different from Earth men, too. Much less … anxious, as it were.

So that's how I write the characters from Collar World. When Ariana Hufflepuff comes to Collar World and accuses people of wanting to rape her, there is much rolling of eyes. No one wants to have sex with her, much less rape her, because she's clearly got mental problems, from their point of view.

Thought experiments like this are what makes alternate world stories interesting to me. I try to create a real culture that has believable people in it that are just different from us, because their background is different from ours. That allows me to write stories that have punch, and that surprise readers with their differentness, but a differentness that somehow makes sense, that has an internal logic of its own. That's the goal, anyway.

Fantasy Fuel

RAAAAAAAAAAPE! (Trigger Warning, you betcha!)

You've often heard me complain about the censorship on Amazon. They won't let you do rape fantasies.

But Amazon isn't the only distributor out there. Smashwords gives CONSIDERABLY more freedom to their writers. They still can't allow books that out and out proselytize about how great real life rape is – no one can, the credit card companies won't process payments for publishers who promote rape as a lifestyle.

Smashwords does allow rape fantasies, however. People have fantasies about rape all the time. As I endlessly delight in pointing out, a lot of the old-time romance novels (B.E. – Before Erotica) were chock full of rape fantasy fuel, with pirates abducting innocent women, Arabs abducting innocent women, gangsters abducting innocent women, and in the case of gay romances, women abducting innocent women. And raping them. It was always implied, sometimes alluded to, and sometimes even described, though generally in the least descriptive terms possible.

But we're not supposed to notice that women have rape fantasies, or even allude to it!

When I first started writing, I was writing sexual bondage fantasies, about women getting tied up and having sex. The logical narrative for that was that somebody grabs a girl and ties her up, probably a pirate or something.

And my first big hit as a writer was “Riverbeast” a novel about a river pirate who kidnaps the daughter of a merchant who does the river pirate wrong. And yes, the full Riverbeast saga is on Smashwords and you can buy it right now. Hell, you can read the first part of the story for free which has a very nice bit of fantasy fuel when the pirates capture and rape the protagonist and four of her comely young female friends.

Even better, there's the President Slavegirl saga. One of the themes you see in a lot of the old romances was The Fall From Grace, wherein a highfalutin', high born lady is brought low by Fate, or Circumstances, generally in the form of some grubby low class guy who kidnaps her and teaches her The Meaning Of Life the hard, tied-up way.

President Slavegirl is the ultimate Fall from Grace, with a former President of the United States who has stretched the powers of the Presidency so far it would make Donald Trump boggle stripped of her civil rights by the courts and then kidnapped and enslaved by her enemies. She gets tied up and has sex a lot, and she's a freaking prude and a half (that's how she made so many enemies, she put everybody who likes sex in jail, or tried to.) Another novel of mine on sale on Smashwords. And yes, there is a free sample of the first book in the series, “The Homouth” and yes, the former President of the United States of America gets tied up and used thoroughly in it.

That ought to be enough for today, I have a lot to say on this topic, but a blog gives me the latitude to take my time. In my next post, I'll tell you about a popular fantasy author whose books are incredible slave rape fantasy fuel.

Emmalina's Rape Now Available On Smashwords

Click here to View Emmalina's Rape on Smashwords (Free preview available, in Kindle, Nook, Epub and other formats)

Some bullshit rules on Smashwords have forced me to classify this story as having incest in it. There is no incest of any kind in the story. None. If you buy the book looking for incestuous thrills, you'll be disappointed. You have been warned.

Everyone -- her own sister, her brother-in-law, her psychiatrist, probably her PARENTS if anybody had asked them -- wanted Emmalina raped!

Emmalina had officially been classified as a Crazy Aunt, living in a room in her sister's house for five years, hiding from all the Masters out there whom she was sure wanted to rape her.

When she'd tried to buy a gun, that had triggered EVERYONE. They thought she would shoot some innocent Master who looked at her the wrong way. She would NEVER do that, she was sure. But nobody believed her, and that is why she wound up bound, gagged and being driven to a stranger's house – not just ANY stranger, a Crazy Uncle! -- to spend an indefinite time as his sex toy, being raped repeatedly while in total bondage!

Emmalina is SURE that being repeatedly raped by Jose the Crazy Uncle will turn her into his mindless love slave, just as the same experience turned her sister, and all other women, really, in to the mindless love slaves of men. Because that was the only explanation for how much they loved the men. (Oh, sure, the men loved THEM, too, but come on, the women were their sex slaves!)

Can Emmalina and Jose find their way to a healthy, natural Master and slavegirl relationship despite their rocky start? You'll just have to read the story to find out.

This story is over 35,000 words long and is part of the Collar World and Scary Aunts & Crazy Uncles series.

The MeTwo Girls: Rape and Sexual Harrassment in Hollywood, Now on Smashwords

Smashwords Link

And the fact that it's on Smashwords rather than Amazon should tell you that it's a lot raunchier than anything Amazon will permit.

I actually started writing this story for Amazon, but about halfway through I realized that I was either going to have to completely rewrite it or write it for Smashwords, because it was a dubious consent story at the very least and could arguably be a rape story, and Amazon wants nothing to do with dubious consent erotica, much less rape.

So I went with the pure, strong line of the story: two actresses bent on outwitting a Hollywood heavy whose intent is forced sex, offering a juicy role in exchange for a "night of love" as the old romances used to call a night of totally freaky maledom/femsub sexual bondage depravity.

I had a great time writing the character of stunt woman Sabrina Sinclair (real name: Marybeth Scoggins). Her peculiar and original approach to sexual morality is at the center of the story, really, and she has the swagger and boldness of a stuntwoman to go with it. Between that character and a ripped-from-the-headlines storyline, and a very long, very explicit, very depraved sex scene that has an interesting double vision aspect to it, I think I got a winner here. Give it a read, I hope you'll agree.

"Sex Station Slut" is hardcore sexual bondage rape socialist propaganda science fiction porn!

Get it here on Smashwords (Kindle format available) for just $1.99

Here’s a little scene from a great sports movie, “Bull Durham,” that describes my creative process. I don’t know where the story is gonna go!

Take “Sex Station Slut” for example. Like some of my stories (OK, a lot of them) it had its beginning in a pornographic image. This image here, a totally NSFW hentai. It’s not the best hentai in terms of graphic quality. Particularly bad is the left leg, where the artist CLEARLY had some issues with handling foreshortening properly, so that the left leg appears to be about half the size of the right leg.

But that’s not important. What really matters is that the image is insanely hot. The figure of the bound, naked woman is ripe and round and her breasts are large. She’s posed in what appears to be mid-writhe. Why is she writhing? Some of it might be the giant buttplug in her ass. (The butplug n her ass doesn’t bear looking at closely, or thinking about at all. It just serves to make her look sexually impaled.)

But the real clue is her pussy, which is reddened and damp. It looks like someone has been fucking it senseless, or at the very least vibrating it with a wand or finger banging it. Whatever, her pussy is the very picture of female sexual arousal.

Combined with her dynamic pose straining against the ropes that hold her, and the big gag that covers her mouth, and her wide open eyes, she’s just a vision of helpless female sexual arousal. You just want to jump on that pussy and fuck it senseless and make her scream with pleasure into her gag as she writhes helplessly beneath you while you fuck her brains out.

And that’s the feeling I wanted to capture in my story, that jump-on-it raw lust fuck it now feeling.

So I started out writing a story about a horny young dude with money in his pocket wanting to get it on on a Friday night, and wound up writing hardcore socialist bondage rape porn about the way capitalism alienates people from one another, and from their own feelings.

Really. That’s what happened. I had thought about capitalism and alienation before, but never from the perspective of bondage porn. It was always political in nature when I thought about it.

But my main character said early on “That’s capitalism for ya.” It was a throwaway comment, comparing capitalism to the weather, something huge you can’t do much about, just shrug and go on. And the crux of the story is what sort of relationship might arise from all the intense bondage sex they have. But the male character kept having issues because of the female character’s job.

And that’s when I figured out what was going on, and I went with it, and that’s how I wound up writing socialist propaganda hardcore bondage rape porn.

Now, I tried to go easy on the socialism, and I think I did a pretty good job It was easy in a sense, because it was a relationship story and it was porn, so I kept things focused on their sexual action and their personal relationship, and tried to keep it to the natural thoughts the protagonist would have … no sudden outbursts of speculation on the nature of capitalism and its debilitating effects on human relationships. I just showed the relationship being degraded by the inbuilt assumptions of the protagonist.

I strongly suspect that no one would recognize it as socialist propaganda if I didn’t point it out as such.

The female protagonist is not the POV character, and she spends a lot of time gagged, but when she does talk she is not very forthcoming. She has the kind of clear perspective that people sometimes get when they are on the very bottom of the social totem pole. But she also knows that, being on the bottom of the social totem pole, nobody cares about her opinions. (Something being bound and gagged a lot while strangers rape her has taught her.)

I also found it easy to keep my socialist propaganda in the background because I set my story in my Basic universe, where most people are the survivors of a genocidal war between regular folks and oligarchs that damn near wiped out both sides, with the regular folks survivors, still numbering in the hundreds of millions (but no longer in billions) guaranteed a Basic Income since almost all jobs are automated and the oligarchs own all the machines.

The resulting society is kind of utopia, and kind of a dystopia, depending on your point of view and your experiences. For the oligarchs, it’s a utopia, they have wealth beyond measure and can do whatever they like, constrained only by the knowledge that there are only a few hundred of them and if they make things too tough for the regular folks they might just get wiped out if there’s another war. As they learned in the previous war, they might have all the weapons and all the tech and be able to kill regular folks en masse, but when millions of people are willing to risk death to kill you, you die, even if the chances of your dying are a million to one.

Still, if you can just resist the impulse toward genocide, life is pretty sweet for oligarchs.

Life is also very sweet for Premies, or Premium citizens, those few people whom the oligarchs need to perform important tasks for them. They live like rock stars, with beach mansions and very comfortable lifestyles in general, including the ability to obtain Basics who have misbehaved as sex slaves through the Pet Girl program (I’ve got a freebie book about a Pet Girl called Pet Shop Slave Girls #1 Katie, feel free to check it out, better yet check out the novel I wrote about a Pet Shop slavegirl, Nataly: Virgin Auction.

Premies live like medieval lords when they aren’t working for the oligarchs, and there is a lot of media interest in their goings and doings and parties – they are celebrities, in essence.

Life is also pretty damned good for Basics if they can stay out of trouble, which mostly consists of not committing acts of violence or stealing. They get all their Basic needs (housing, food, clothing, medical care) taken care of for free, and a lot more than that, actually. Here’s a bit from the promo for “Nataly: Virgin Auction” that shows how good Basics have it:

>Everything went to hell for Nataly when her dad lost his job as a programmer and he and the family went broke and had to fall back on Basic Income to survive. Nataly, her father and mother found themselves trapped in a nightmarish reality in which they had to eat PRINTED steak and lobster instead of the real thing, when they couldn't charter a private jet for a family vacation, but had to SHARE a jet with other Basics on vacation, and in which they couldn't buy first-run designer fashions straight from the runways of Paris, Rome and New York, but had to wait a MONTH to buy incredibly cheap knock-offs (once again, PRINTED instead of handmade), and endure other such indignities too numerous to mention.

As you can see, Basics have it pretty good. Vacations, designer clothes, lobster and steak for dinner every day if they like. Cheap 3D printer tech has made material want a thing of the past.

And if you’re a Basic with any intellectual interests, the ollies will not only allow you to pursue them, but will actively HELP you pursue them. And if you want to be a rocknroll star and spend all your time playing music, you can do that, you can do pretty much whatever you want except hurt other people. The Ollies don’t care, and they make no pretense of having religious or moral concerns about the Basics, they just want to them to not be violent. (Though various forms of recreational violence, such as boxing, MMA fighting and football are allowed – useful for giving release to the violent impulses of hormonally swamped younger males and sometimes females.)

And even though jobs are rare, gigs are not rare, many Basics have gigs, like our protagonist, work that can disappear overnight, often very short term work, just things that need to be done and can be done by your average Jamie. And if you have a gig you may not be a rockstar, but you can easily afford to buy the use of a woman like Vanessa for an hour or two – any kind of use you like.

The only people who have it rough are the Basics who can’t live by the rules, for whatever reason. People like the Pet Shop girls Katie and Nataly, and Vanessa.

The Basic universe is hence a cross between Super Ultra Late Stage Capitalism and Super Gay Luxury Space Communism. The oligarchs own it all, but what does “ownership” mean in this case? Not a hell of a lot, to the Basics.

The point of all this is that I could embed my socialist viewpoint in simple descriptions of Basic society – it’s already there for me to use, I don’t have to do tons of exposition.

Well, now you know. Buy the story, get turned on and propagandized! You have nothing to lose but your capitalist propagandizement!

A Love Beyond The Struggle: How A Billionaire Rape Story Became A Dark Romance

Get the story here on Amazon $2.99 or free if you have Kindle Unlimited

When I first started writing “A Love Beyond the Struggle” I thought I was going to write a billionaire rape story for publication on Smashwords. In fact the working title for it was “billionaire rape story.” I was writing to market, hurrah!

Unfortunately, it didn't end up that way. Early on, it got changed, though I wasn't aware of how drastically it was going to change.

After a bit of thought, I decided on Nero Wolfe as the model for my billionaire. Clearly, he'd make a GREAT billionaire, ruthless variety. But I couldn't do an exact Nero Wolfe map, even if I wanted to. Nero Wolfe had a finely developed moral sense, he was not a kidnapper or anything like it. Archie Goodwin, even more so.

So I came up with a darker Nero Wolfe, the billionaire Colin Whitworth. He maintains a harem of kidnapped women on his private island to keep him entertained while he makes his billions from green energy.

The idea here is to make Whitworth a force of nature thanks to all his money and power. He's so powerful that his sexual whims, illegal or not, ethical or not, get enacted, and there's no accountability for him at all … his money ensure it.

So his assistant Garth Goodwin (an Archie Goodwin analog, of course) would be a counterpoint to Whitworth who sees his amorality clearly but still enables it. Garth wouldn't be involved in the harem at all, other than helping with acquisitions and disposals. He would be the romantic lead.

And at some point after I came up with that dynamic for the story, I realized that I could write it for Amazon by having all the harem sexual action occur offscreen, in essence. Garth might know all that goes on in the harem, but he wouldn't describe any of it in any detail, not being deeply interested in it.

Which I realized makes for an EVEN BETTER story, because I can make the story chock full of fantasy fuel for harem bondage sexual fantasies, without having to describe any of them (hence complying with Amazon’s rule against nonconsensual erotica). All the nasty, dirty kinky sex stuff can occur in the reader’s nasty, dirty mind.

Sweet!

And that's when the story because a romance, specifically a dark romance. And of course, a very DIFFERENT kind of dark romance. I think it's an interesting and original story of a sort I've never written before. I've written other works that aren't erotica: “Slave Girls Of Outer Space,” “The Visitor From Incel World” and “The Love Invasion” but they were all basically science fiction adventures. This is a straight-up romance with no explicit sex whatsoever but SOOO much fantasy fuel. (Very Gorean, in fact, though Gor DOES have its sex scenes.) Will it work? Who knows?

You'll have to buy it and see what you think, if you like a dark romance. It’s $2.99 on Amazon or free if you have Kindle Unlimited.

"Blast From The Past" Now on Smashwords

You can get the book on Smashwords (in Kindle, Nook, epub and other formats) by clicking on this text.

This one's on Smashwords because I just couldn't figure out a way to realistically describe the goings-on for women captured and enslaved in Bronze Age times in a way that made it seem consensual. In fact, doing so would be wrong: it wasn't consensual, not by a long shot.

Instead, I used the greater latitude allowed by Smashwords to describe the goings-on very directly and accurately. And my guide for this: the Bible, specifically, the Old Testament. It describes very clearly the fate of a conquered city: standard practice for the Hebrews (consistently portrayed as the Good Guys in the Bible, compared to other groups) was to kill all the males over 12 years old and enslave all the males under 12 and all the females, period. In one case the Hebrews were so pissed off at another tribe that they killed everyone, including the women and children, and also slaughtered all the livestock. (They said God told them to ... yeah, right, bastards. The truth is that the Old Testament was written by a bunch of Bronze Age tribesmen committing the atrocities that were standard inter-city relations at the time, and then telling on themselves because they just didn't know any better.)

I wanted to bring that horror to life, so I figured out a way to do it that I think made for a good story, so here's the blurb, see what you think and then hasten over to Smashwords and get some kinky Biblical horror going:

Archaeologist Pam Stone had a gift. When she handled artifacts, sometimes she got visions of what the people who had handled those artifacts in the past had been experiencing when they handled them, even centuries in the past.

Some called it psychometry. Archaeologists called it quackery. That’s why Pam told no one about her visions. She just used them to to blaze a brilliant career as an archaeologist.

It’s a dangerous gift, Pam discovers. On a Middle Eastern dig she handles a chain that was used to restrain a recently captured slave girl. The chain gives her an up close and personal vision of what it is like to be a woman captured and enslaved in Bronze Age times in the Middle East.

The experience shocks, horrifies and intrigues Pam. It also saves her life and the lives of others. And it gets some soldiers killed. You’ll have to read the story to find out how and why.

This novelette is over 13,400 words long.

Yard Sale Slut: The Novel Now On Smashwords

Smashwords link (includes Kindle format) $2.99

“Yard Sale Slut: The Novel,” is the greatly revised and extended version of “Yard Sale Slut” a novella published on Amazon three years ago. The novella was 33,000 words long and the novel is 53,000 words long.

The additional 20,000 words deals with the protagonist’s experiences after she is drugged and sold to the Mossport Slave Agency by a disgruntled ex-employer. (Her employer had her reasons.) It is basically 20,000 words of pure sexual bondage BDSM goodness. Moira gets tied up and whipped, put in stocks and raped by two male slavers, locked in a cage, tied up and gang raped by three other slavegirls who aren’t tied up (lesbian gang rape) put in chains and forced to rape a tied-up slavegirl, and whored out as a slave in the slave agency’s bordello, chained to the bed the whole time of course.

And many of the proceedings are captured on video to sell as porn. The Mossport slavers profit from Moira in every way they can, totally without her consent.

This is in keeping with the original concept of “Yard Sale Slut” in which the protagonist has a very rough time at the hand of the slavers and a very dispiriting time at the hands of her first owners, which sets things up nicely for a big turnaround when she becomes a Smiling Slut Tavern slavegirl.

Now you may be wondering, “but then, why did you not include all that wonderful BDSM sex slave rape in the original “Yard Sale Slut”? And the answer is that I could not do so because “Yard Sale Slut” was originally written for Amazon, and Amazon does not do nonconsensual erotica. In order to sell the story on Amazon I had to tone down the nonconsensual stuff to virtually nothing, in fact, I had Moira AGREEING to be enslaved, signing contracts agreeing to be enslaved and everything. (This is actually more humiliating than being drugged and taken by force, and I played it for all the humiliation I could manage, but it can’t come close to matching the impact of the direct BDSM thrills as originally conceived.)

What I’m saying is, the novel version is the REAL “Yard Sale Slut” story, the hardcore pure-D sexual bondage fuckathon I originally envisioned. Oh, and it comes with a Happily Ever After, too. But … that’s not all.

I also envisioned “Yard Sale Slut” as a real science fiction story. It’s set in my Basic Income timeline, in the runup to the Oligarch Wars. The Oligarch Wars are an “If this goes on” dystopia in which technology, specifically automation, has advanced enough that machines can provide the oligarchs with every material need they might ever have. Basically, the oligarchs see the rest of humanity as leeches who compete with them for resources and who produce way too many greenhouse gases. (Though, of course, on a per capita basis, the oligarchs do a lot more damage than regular folks. But without regular folks greenhouse gases will be greatly reduced even though the oligarchs keep on oligarching.)

Hence, the oligarchs have decided to get rid of 95 percent of us. (They’ll still need servants and employees of various kinds, of course, so a few hundred million will be saved.) But they don’t go about it in a comic book supervillain sort of way and declare war on humanity. They instead create terrible conditions in the societies they control. Things like mass evictions of the poor, food shortages, bringing back horrible institutions like chattel slavery. And when the inevitable revolts occur, they see to it that the government quashes them quickly and violently, with plenty of civilian casualties.

And the oligarchs use their control of the mainstream media to prevent anyone from knowing about all this horrible stuff going on. You could be living in the next town over from a government massacre and not know about it if you didn’t know anybody who lived there well. The oligarchs want spontaneous, local, easily quashed rebellions, but they don’t want widespread organized rebellions. Those might succeed, or perhaps get some oligarchs killed, and that’s unacceptable.

None of these things are spelled out in my story. We see things from Moira’s eyes, and she wants mostly to escape from the world via Italian Renaissance poetry, and so has only a superficial, fragmented viewpoint of what’s going on around her, though she’s sure she doesn’t like what she sees of it.

Also, one of the things I’ve noticed in written accounts by people who have lived through wars is how weirdly isolated a war can be. People can be living an approximation of normal life in one place and going through hell not far away.

Moira’s story takes place early on when the oligarchs are successfully waging their undeclared war on everyone. I hoped to give an unreal, science-fiction feel to her ordeals, sort of an alternate-timeline feel although this isn’t really an alternate timeline. It’s our timeline, if horrible trends get even more horrible. I wouldn’t be surprised if this future is completely off base and wrong about everything, and I devoutly hope it is. But human history makes it feel all too possible.

So, here’s da blurb:

Nobody who knew Moira Evans thought she had a brilliant future, but at least she had a good one. She was a topnotch student with a passion for Italian Renaissance poetry, unusual for a kid from a remote rural town. The most she could hope for was a teaching job at some podunk college, but it would be enough to make her hardscrabble mountain family proud and give her the sequestered life of academia she craved.

But when events beyond Moira’s control cause her to lose her family and her scholarship, she swiftly descends to the depths of a society that lost its bearings decades ago. Drugged and sold into slavery, she experiences the whip, slave rape, bondage rape, lesbian gang rape, being a slave whore, and worst of all, being sold for cheap at a yard sale! The world is going to hell and Moira is chained beneath the ground floor.

Will Moira be able to regain some semblance of peace and happiness when she’s bought by the Smiling Slave Tavern and becomes a tavern slave, having sex with customers on demand? You’ll have to read the story and find out.

This novel is 53,000 words long, and is an extensively revised and expanded version of the 33,000-word novella “Yard Sale Slut.” The story is number 3 in the Tavern Slut series but is set about 100-150 years prior to Tavern Slut #1 and Tavern Slut #2, which are roughly contemporaneous.

Junie Jamieson, Snoopy Reporter: Captured By Gangsters~

Get This Hardcore Taboo BDSM Erotica Novel on Smashwords for $2.99

Hardcore rape erotica stories are selling like gangbusters on Smashwords, and who am I to argue with gangbusters? Instead I'll join in with this full length novel about a snoopy reporter who gets caught by gangsters. Here's da blurb:

When crusading reporter/blogger Junie Jamieson eavesdrops on the crime boss of Century City to get the goods on his bike path scam, she’s caught. The crime boss turns her over to his whorehouse madam Nikki Sexy, to teach Junie the consequences of snooping on important mobsters.

Nikki, whose whorehouse specializes in serving the needs of kinky customers, has all sorts of consequences planned for Junie in no time, all of them totally nonconsensual on Junie’s part. And unfortunately, the bondage skills the whorehouse staff has developed to keep submissive customers totally restrained also works to keep Junie totally restrained. She’s kept in strict bondage while her virginity is sold off as the prize in an unusual strip club contest, and she’s also bound and often gagged as she’s raped repeatedly by the whorehouse/strip club’s customers, sometimes onstage.

To make things even worse, Junie discovers a taste for submission, bondage and humiliation inside her, so that she enjoys much of what occurs to her against her every rational conviction. To make things even worse than worse, Nikki Sexy has detected Junie’s taste for submisison, bondage and humiliation and is determined to transform proud, independent Junie into her simpering love slave. And worst of all, Junie feels the pull of Nikki’s dominance, even though Junie loves to submit to the bondage of dominant men.

Will naked, bound and gagged Junie ever escape Nikki’s evil clutches and get back to the life of cycling, blogging and being a crusader that she loves? And how will her experiences change her, if she survives? And what part does Junie's deceased editor/publisher grandfather Jebediah Jameison play in all this?

This story includes a happy ever after (HEA) ... of sorts.

You’ll just have to read the story to find out. This novel is over 57,000 words long and is set in the present day.
