The Guggenheim Mystery – The Bookseller Review
I’m delighted to say that The Guggenheim Mystery has its first review!
It’s from Fiona Noble at The Bookseller, who says that ‘it’s a wonderful read, full of Stevens’ characteristic tight plotting, humour and inclusivity … it’s a real treat to be back in [Ted’s] world.’
I am so pleased that Fiona enjoyed it so much – and I can’t wait until you get to read it too.… Read more

One Very Exciting Brussels Weekend!
My books have taken me to some wonderful places, and allowed me to have some pretty special experiences. But I have to say that last weekend was one of the most amazing yet.
I was invited to Brussels to give a keynote at the SCBWI Europolitan Conference. SCBWI is a great network for children’s authors, and I’ve been involved with it since before I was published myself.… Read more

Puffin Virtually Live – Terry Pratchett Day
Terry Pratchett was one of the authors who made me want to be an author. I was 100% completely obsessed with the Discworld books as a kid (as should you be, by the way), and wanted to go be a Guard in Ankh Morpork with Carrot and Angua, or a witch on the Chalk with Tiffany Aching.… Read more

Good news, Germany: it’s competition time!
Today I’ve got some great news for German Detective Society Members. Knesebeck Verlag, my German publishers, really love the series – so much that they’ve decided to buy Mistletoe and Murder and Cream Buns and Crime! The deal was done by Thomas Schlueck Agency on behalf of my agents The Bent Agency (the world of book rights is fascinating and mysterious, and so much more complicated than I ever thought it was).… Read more
