Lou Cook grew up on a small farm in Connecticut and has lived on both coasts of the United States.

The most beautiful building in her hometown was the library. She would search the old wooden shelves, and check out the unread treasures from Mrs. Hoadley, the librarian.

These days, when not writing about Bunzini’s world, Lou is a deckhand on the ferries of the San Francisco Bay.

The currents from my dreams drift in and out of what I’m working on, and my mind is freer to invent and elaborate.(less)
