While Pepper plans on having an eternity to spend her happily ever after with Emerick Lowrance, getting to the wedding is proving to be a problem. Between numerous women rising from their graves into their second lives and a surge of miscreants attacking innocents on the street, she has her hands full with brood business.

Grave Affairs now in Audiobook Format on Kobo

After a battle and “unknown” errors, Kobo kindly eradicated the original audiobooks from orbit, which allowed me to reupload them. The reuploaded files worked. So, here you go. Please enjoy listening to Grave Affairs, narrated by Keira Grace.

Also, because I enjoy being evil…

… Death Dance (Lowrance Vampires #3) will have a March 2026 release date. You may thank Bookbub for selecting Blood Bound for a featured deal, which means there will be a sale on Blood Bound in mid April.

Please do...

The Economics of Pen Names

I went to bed human. I woke up with a sinus infection on just one side of my face. I love sinus infections. My absolute favorite. I can 100% tell you the cause of this.

My neighbor, who so very much loves to crank her heat and put my apartment into the upper 80s to the 100s. (It was 100 degrees in my kitchen the other day because of her. Yes, I have a thermometer, I checked it. It was registering triple digits in my fucking kitchen.)

I am going to be so happy when we get moved.

Anyway, ...

Karma (Audiobook) on sale, website updates continue, illness, boo, other stuff!

I am clearly the best at blog post titles. I am currently playing a game of “Food poisoning? COVID? Norovirus? SOMETHING??” that involves a sad amount of upset digestive system, including vomiting. In good news, I’m not Ginger from Ginger Snapped sick at this stage. HOORAY! In bad news, I’m definitely sick.

I’ll be fine. I’m hydrating just fine, I have found the foods that I can keep down without incident, and I’m trucking on. I’m only at my computer right now because I got bored of taking a n...

Some Important News (See: Prince of New York, middle of post, look for bold), Site will be under maintenance this weekend!

Greetings, folks. I hope I’m not bothering you with the frequency of posting, but I’m making some “quality of life” improvements for those of you who use my website. First, I’m starting with a collection of links for audiobooks by vendor. You can find this in the menu by checking out “audiobooks”; right now, Chirp, Audible, and Kobo are complete.

Audiobook news: Yes, Water Witch is coming back to all vendors, I’ve downloaded the files, and I’m crying because I have to fix it on audible, too. ...

Audiobook Update

Greetings!

I am working on updating the website with links to books by vendor. I have started with Chirp Books, as people are constantly telling me books that are on Chirp aren’t on Chirp, and it’s driving me out of my mind. Some books that weren’t on chirp were uploaded tonight. It can take chirp anywhere between 24 hours to 3 weeks to populate their servers with audiobooks, so I will do an update over at chirp in a few weeks. In the meantime, here is your fancy schamancy list of Chirp Audio...

A Few Things…

I’m just going to dive in for “funsies” while also sighing.

1: Book descriptions are often written before I actually start writing the book. Originally, my plan for Booked for Theft was to start with the declaration, but I found a better opener. I am NOT inviting political discourse, so don’t start any in the comments, for I will delete them without fanfare, but I am going to use real life as a pointer on why the description was written like it was originally:

In real politics, politicians...

Booked for Theft is NOT the last book in the series…

This has always been, and always will be, a five book series.

The next book will be entitled “Booked for Arson.”

Thank you.

(And yes, rumors are being spread the series is over… that is not the case in the slightest.)

For those of you who have purchased the book, I hope you love it!

Happy reading.

Booked for Theft has released! (Plus Faith Hunter responded to my latest short story challenge!)

A year after the assassination of Senator Maybelle, President Castillo makes a declaration that shakes the United States of America to its core: the presidential election is to be postponed for a period of three years to investigate the deaths of prominent senators and representatives across the nation.

In the wake of the speech, Janette is invited to meet with Senator Thaddens regarding a donation for the New York Public Library. Aware the senator may be one of the last men fighting for ...
