Slick as Ides teaser 1

Here's the first teaser for my novel, Slick as Ides, to be published on September, 20th. Enjoy! Ides and Vapor online conversation from Chapter 1:
Vapor: You there, Ides?
The monitor blinks at me with his private message just for me.
“Yeah, I am, you slimy bastard.” I grin and type out a different reply though. Ides: What’s up? Invent anything today?
Vapor: Yep. Invented a way into your wet panties. Wanna come over and check it out, make sure it works correctly?
I bark a deep, biting laugh. “Uh, no. Not happening.” Ides: Sure. I’ll be right over . . .
Vapor: See, I knew you liked me.
Ides: Like is not an issue. It’s an issue of trust.
Vapor: You can trust me. Have I done anything to warrant anything else?
Ides: Yeah, you have.
Vapor: Such as?
Ides: You seem to know too much about me. How is that possible? No one knows who I am.
Vapor: Did my research, sweetheart. You’re all over the web, whether you know it or not. I know your signature when I see it, woman.
Ides: Right there—the fact you even know my gender is disconcerting.
Vapor: I’ve been tracking you down for months now. Do you know how hard it was to get into this elite hacker chat group? I swear they patted down my balls and made me turn my head and cough before they’d even let me in. Do they think I’ll hunt you down?
Ides: Would you?

done proofing Knots

Just an update: last night I finished proofing and making the necessary updates based on feedback from my pre-readers in the lifestyle.

The ARCs should be going out in 2 weeks. It'll go through my editor for one last round, and possibly one more pre-reader, then it'll be completely ready to go.

If you want an ARC and aren't already on my list, let me know. I'm happy to have more...

A submissive's comments on Knots

The most exciting part about writing Knots is hearing what people in the lifestyle think about it. It's also terrifying at the same time. But this endorsement from another submissive touched me so deeply, I asked her if I could share with all of you. She gave me permission. This is why I write. This is why it means something more to me. To learn something more about humanity, myself and others. To gain a deeper understanding and better perspective.

Here's what my pre-reader wrote (and before I sent this to her, I didn't know her. I found her on one of my Goodreads groups)--

Chanse, this was a great book!  It was a perfect length...not too short.  i related very closely to the feelings and thoughts that jeanie had. i loved it! It reminded me of how my Husband and i first got started.  It was a sweet but sensual telling of a brand new Dom/sub relationship between Mark and Jeanie. Mark reminded me very much of my Husband in the way He wants to just love her, take care of her and protect her, letting Him take the lead in everything.  my Husband treats me like a princess, and that makes me want to serve and please Him all the more.  i loved the sweet, sensual love scenes as well, especially Jeanie's first anal experience.   i have not participated in a BDSM community, but many of the Dom/sub couples i've been in touch with online are this loving kind of monogamous relationship.  Not everyone goes to dungeons/clubs to play, nor does every  Dom share His sub.  i'd be willing to bet that most BDSM couples are of the type you write about in Knots.  i think you have a hit on your hands. Thank you for letting me read this. i don't mind you mentioning my name or telling everyone that i'm a submissive.  I'm not ashamed of my role and really don't care what others think of me.  This works for Us/me.
Best wishes for success with Knots.

Slick as Ides news

Today was a big day. The ARCs all went out, and I'm happy to announce that this story that was once at 55K words, and an 11 chapter fan fic, is now a full blown, 104K word story at 25 chapters long.

But, wait! There's more!

I'm writing a sequel called Catching Vapor.

I kind of had the title for a sequel in my head for months now, but didn't have a full plot so wasn't necessarily planning on making it a series. But about a week or two ago (sorry, I have an awful memory at times) I was hit with all the missing gaps, and a full plot exploded into my brain. A messy place to be. So I started doing the research I needed, and it's been fascinating. It also spawned a spin off. A fan fic called MERIT Man. I don't know if this happens to other authors or not, but I find out way more info than I'll ever need when I do the necessary research, and it has no where to go. I wind up taking the excess, turning it into another story of its own and use it as a warm up exercise for the real story I'm planning on writing.

That's probably more than you wanted to know, but just know that Catching Vapor has a planned release date for Valentine's Day, 2014, because, hey, what says I love you more than a hot-ass thief, stealing your panties, passing you a bottle of hand sanitizer and then whispering nothing but filth in your ear after he ties you up when you weren't looking?

It's all kinds of romantic, kind of like sex in a car. It sounds uncomfortable, but sometimes you just gotta do it because it's hotter than hell, kind of like Nick.

I'll keep you updated as we go along, and over the next 3 weeks I'll be sharing teasers for the upcoming release of Slick as Ides.

ANNOUNCEMENT: publishing date changes

After considering the publishing dates for my next two novels, it's become apparent to me they need to be swapped out for their dates for various reasons.

So, here's the updated publishing scheduled:

Slick as Ides: September 20th, 2013

Knots: October 18th, 2013

This shouldn't impact the schedule for the rest of my stories I plan to publish in the near future.

Slick as Ides published version is now completed

Slick as Ides is done, my lovely friends. I can't believe it. It took me longer than I thought, but over the last 3 days, this story went from 55K words to 93K. That means I'll get carpal tunnels in about 24 hours from writing 38K words in that amount of time. If my kids were back in school, I probably would've been done sooner, but it's okay. I'll give myself a B- on this effort. I'm just glad it's done, and happy with the finished story.

It has a planned release date of October 18th. In the meantime, here's a teaser from the new chapter 1 (hasn't been through edits yet, so please forgive any typos):

I wander back to my desk, and the minute I log into my favorite chat group, I see that name “Vapor,” and I’m tingling and breathless.
God, he’s so hot with the shit he gets up to. He knows exactly what to do to get me going.
Vapor: You there, Ides?
The monitor blinks at me.
Have I done anything to warrant mistrust?
I swallow, and my pussy throbs. God, I wish he would.
Vapor: For you? I might. I want you, and I think you know I touch myself while I fantasize about you. Can’t you tell I’m doing it right now?
“Pervert,” I whisper and grin wider.
Vapor: I’ve got a fucking hard on about a mile long for you. I swear I practically squirt on my screen each time I chat with you. Want me to film it next time and send it to you? All I’ll need is your email address, hon.
Ides: Nice try. I’m not on here to get hit on or for free porn.
