SCBWI Conference
I've spent the past weekend at the British Isles SCBWI Conference. I had an awesome time and met a huge number of inspiring people - speakers, delegates and volunteers alike. It was manically busy but great fun. Well done to all the authors who launched their new book at the Book Launch Party, and the brave souls who had a 1-2-1 with the industry professionals. I hope everyone had as much fun as me, even if I do need to catch up on some sleep!

September happenings
Hello to everybody I've met this month! I've been to the Whitmore Fun Day, the Book Fair in Stafford, the Staffordshire Autumn Fair and also to Newcastle-under-Lyme School to run a workshop with the talented year 7s there. Next month you can see me at Cheadle Guild Hall on 4th October, and Sandbach Masonic Hall on 25th. I look forward to meeting you!

Summer at the Centre
The stall is planned. The sign is now complete, together with two 7-point stars drawn without the aid of my (presumed lost) protractor. Thank you, GCSE Maths, for coming to the rescue! Bring on Summer at the Centre tomorrow.
