Tips for young writers

I wanted to combine my love for teaching with my love for writing; so I have created a YouTube channel where I will start to put clips to help young writers.

If you know someone who struggles to come up with ideas for their stories, they may enjoy my first clip, which will give them some really easy hints about turning ordinary things into extraordinary ideas. It is from part of a session I have used before, with some of my school visits.

It’s 1/7/15 and time for the first piece of news: Box 1571 has an awesome new cover! Thank you to illustrator Stefano Tambellini for the design which I hope you all love. I’m very excited to say that this brand new version will be released by Matador books on 28th July. More news to follow!
