Enslaved Valentine Banner v2

Today’s blog tour book blitz post is Enslaved Valentine (BDSM Voyages Book 1), by AJ Llewellyn and DJ Manly! See below for the blurb, cover, and great giveaway!

Blurb:

Hamish never thought he’d want to be dominated until Paul Murdock showed up with the key to his padlocked heart.

It’s been said that all a submissive can do when they are bound and tied, is feel. For former boxer Hamish Murdock, all he’s ever done is feel. Feel bad that is. He never took pleasure from pain until meeting Paul, whom he thinks of as his tikkun, the man who rights all the wrongs in his life. For Paul and Hamish, pain is pleasure in their most secret, private moments. On the outside, they are a normal, devoted couple with successful businesses…

But deep down, theirs is a strict D/s relationship that’s about to be tested in their first BDSM vacation. Paul’s chosen a secret destination for Hamish in their Valentine’s Day long-weekend. Can Hamish handle what Paul has in mind? More importantly, will Paul be able to keep his secret and keep his man under control? Or will their first BDSM voyage be their last?

Excerpt:

In the house, Paul held me in his arms and kissed me. “Toy time,” he said and pushed himself away from me. He walked away in the darkness. Until I met him, I’d been afraid of the dark. Had been since I was a kid. Now I liked all kinds of light, especially night. I suppose because nighttime was when I got to have him to myself, when our workday was over. We’d fooled around with a couple of guys and it was always fun but I trusted him. I never got a sense that he was about to run off with some other guy, no matter how cute he was.

I followed him to our bedroom. He disappeared into the walk-in closet where he kept our most secret sex toys. My heart skipped a beat. Oooh, fun!

Excerpt:

“Enough!” Dave pushes me over onto my back on the floor where I wait patiently and silently for his next command. My lover, my Master takes off his damp shirt, tossing it on my face. His shorts and jock come completely off next, flipped onto my body with his right foot. Ummm, what a sight! I let only a soft moan escape my lips. He is indeed a magnificent specimen—and he’s mine, or perhaps I’m his. It matters not as our relationship demands an equal commitment from both parties.

As he stands there, stroking his erection and looking around the room, I don’t remove the sweat drenched and aromatic tank top from my face. Breathing deeply, I inhale his scent. My dick twitches with anticipation. “Ah yes, the sawhorse. Mount!” I jump up and fold my body over the padded crossbeam, letting my feet dangle, not quite reaching the floor. Without further instruction I spread my arms and legs allowing Dave to shackle my wrists and ankles to the oblique uprights. With my ass poised high and its pucker exposed due to my splayed legs, my erection is forced downward behind the cross bar making me uncomfortable. I say nothing for my Master knows I’m uncomfortable; he designed the apparatus to achieve maximum discomfort.

About Kenn Dahll

Kenn moved from the gay ghetto called Wilton Manors, Florida to the much more dynamic, yet still extremely gay, District of Columbia area. More than twenty years ago he submitted a short story to a “one-hand magazine” contest and won a year’s subscription. Since then he has written many stories, none of which he submitted for publication until one was published in Alyson Books’ Island Boys published August 2008. He is thrilled to be published in eXcessica.com and now in Torquere Press with over thirty titles. He is also published in two additional Alyson Books anthologies: Best Gay Love Stories 2009 and 2010. Generally, Kenn says he sees a hot male and constructs a fantasy story around him−how he is dressed, what he might be thinking, what is his relationship with the other males around him be it in a bar, a bus, a restaurant, a bank, or even a church. Sometimes a situation encountered in his daily routine, on vacation, or simply on a casual stroll around the neighborhood inspires him and a story will take shape in his mind, which is then populated from his vivid imagination. Kenn claims to find few outlets outside of erotic fiction for his innate creativity and is pleased others are interested in reading what he writes.

Excerpt:

While Ethan sipped on his cocktail watching the dirty dancing on the floor, a six foot-two, dark-haired man wearing black boots and skintight leather pants entered the club.  His eyes cased the room as he stood at the entrance, confidence dripping from the man’s stance to his gaze. He slipped off his leather jacket to display a black beater, showcasing muscular arms and just a faint bit of hair on his broad chest, which drew gasps from several onlookers and hopeful prey.  The man found his target wading through the hoard of oglers in various stages of intoxication over to the bartender at the opposite end from where Ethan sat.

“Chance.” Andre, the bartender’s eyes lit up as he greeted his longtime friend who was quite the looker. He poured him his usual, a Vodka Tonic with a twist and at the same time, turned his head and gave a nod towards Ethan, who was still nursing his second drink, staring at the dance floor like a deer in headlights. Chance’s eyes followed Andre’s gaze and landed on their mark. “Cute.”

“He ordered one of these,” Andre divulged, sliding the glass to Chance.

“Huh,” Chance said, giving the brown hair, brown eyed cutie a long once over.  He emptied his glass in one gulp, asked Andre for two more, and drifted over to the hottie sitting alone at the end of the bar. “Can I buy you a drink?” He asked in a seductive tone of voice.

Ethan started to say “No thank you”, but as he looked up, he saw sparkling blue eyes and jet black hair attached to a long, muscular body. His leather pants left nothing to the imagination as Ethan could make out the outline of the man’s cock, and he just stared, lips slightly parted, taking a gulp. After an awkward pause, “Uh, sure, I’ll have a…”

“Vodka Tonic with a twist?” Chance interrupted, handed the glass to Ethan. A little smirk formed at the edge of the man’s mouth as.

“How did you…?”

“Lucky guess,” Chance lied, as his eyes roamed over the other man’s small, taut, muscular body. “How long have you been here?”

“Just a couple of days; I’m staying at a hotel a few blocks away and…”

“No, babe,” Chance let out a throaty chuckle, “I meant, how long have you been sitting here all alone?” His arm was propped against the bar, his body leaning against it, legs going on for miles. His shirt rode up just enough to expose a hint of skin at the man’s torso. Ethan gulped again.

“Oh,” Ethan blushed, looking away. “Not long.” He’d never been talked to this way before.  It was terrifying and exciting at the same time.

“What’s your name, sexy?” The man persisted, confident that he’d get what he wanted in the end.

“Ethan Mo…”

“Ethan.” He interrupted again, letting the name slip off his tongue. “Chance,” he replied. Chance didn’t do last names.

“Chance?” Ethan raised his eyebrow. Interesting name.

“As in take a chance.” The man winked, motioning to one the tables. “Wanna sit where it’s a little more comfortable?”

Before Ethan could answer, Chance reached for his hand, and tugged him off the stool. Ethan bounced as his feet hit the floor and followed the man still holding his hand towards the tables near the dance floor. This is what you were looking for, remember? Ethan reminded himself, suddenly feeling self conscious, looking around the room.  No one gave him a second glance.

Chance grabbed a table and pulled out a chair for Ethan, taking the seat next to him. They sipped their cocktails, making harmless small talk, where Chance learned that Ethan’s favorite artist was Katy Perry.  When I kissed a Girl came blaring from the speakers, Chance grabbed Ethan’s hand again. “Let’s dance.”

Ethan nodded, following the gorgeous man to the floor where he noticed several men staring now, all directed at his dance partner. Ethan walked a little prouder knowing that he was the lucky one Chance had chosen.

Chance swiveled his hips and threw his head back, keeping in rhythm with the music.  Ethan just stood gazing at him for a moment. Chance gave Ethan a lustful smirk. “Here, babe, put your hands on my hips, just like that,” Chance encouraged, placing his own hands around Ethan’s waist. Ethan let Chance and the music move him, while his gaze remained on his gorgeous dance partner. Ethan was smitten with the dark haired beauty.

The music slowed down and Chance pulled Ethan close to his body, wrapping his arms around him, allowing Ethan to nuzzle his chest. Chance raised his hand from his waist, towards his neck, stopping at the back of Ethan’s head to thread his hands through the soft brown hair, as he whispered into his ear. “Mm Ethan, you feel nice.” Chance made Ethan feel like he was the only man in the room, and he liked it.

“Uh, huh, you too.” Ethan agreed, as he breathed in the scent of Chance, making him dizzy with desire. Maybe it was the third drink, but he didn’t think so; the man was just intoxicating.

Chance lowered his hands, resting them on Ethan’s ass. Ethan didn’t back away, so Chance gave his buttocks a squeeze, massaging the cheeks when a soft moan escaped Ethan’s lips. Chance never took his eyes off Ethan as they danced. He pressed his crotch against him, grinding into the smaller man.

Ethan’s heartbeat sped up as his cock enjoyed the friction, and by the feel of the bulge in Chance’s pants pressing into him, he knew the other man was just as turned on as he was. “Um, Chance?”

“Yeah, babe?” Chance never stopped moving, but looked down at his partner, who was nearly a head shorter than he was.

Ethan looked up at those piercing blue eyes and felt warm all over.

“Um, I just…” Ethan blushed, not sure how to continue as he dropped his gaze.

Chance leaned forward, picking up Ethan’s chin, gently pecking him the lips. Surprised at first, Ethan gave into the kiss. Chance swirled his tongue along Ethan’s lips until he gained entrance, devouring the other man’s mouth. All of the uneasiness that Ethan had felt earlier melted away in Chance’s arms. He’d never been kissed that way before; he felt dizzy with desire. He kissed him back.

Excerpt:

Faldor frowned. What had moved him to invite Yanek to his house for dinner—and, indeed, how he’d forgotten the damned invitation—he didn’t know. But he regretted it. He focused on his food—a fine tarkin stew, even if he did say so himself—and tried to make interested noises at all the appropriate moments while Yanek prattled on.

Not that it would’ve mattered if he hadn’t. Yanek loved nothing more than the sound of his own voice. The elf was easily the most vain, self-centered, and singularly annoying person Faldor had ever had the misfortune to meet. His constant bids for Faldor’s attention and attempts to win himself a place in Faldor’s bed didn’t endear him to the healer, either. Still, bad company was better than none on a lonely night like this. Especially after the forest earlier.

“What happened in the forest today?” Yanek asked, as if reading his mind.

Faldor glanced up at him. “Nothing.”

“That’s not what Sir Nomah said. I heard he and the men had to pluck you from the midst of the trees.” Yanek made a grabbing gesture with his right hand and laughed.

“No one plucked me from anywhere,” Faldor growled. “Nothing happened.”

“What drove you in there in the first place?”

Faldor met the elf’s gaze, raised his eyebrow. “Why does it matter?”

Yanek shrugged and lifted a forkful of dinner to his mouth. He chewed and swallowed, then shrugged again. “One of the men said he thought he heard you call Meldrick’s name.”

Faldor glared, irrationally angry Yanek had dared to speak his lover’s name. “Meldrick is dead. Why would I call out his name?”

“You tell me.”

“There’s nothing to tell.” He cut into a piece of meat and stabbed it up.

“If you suspect—”

“Drop it.”

Yanek stared, mouth agape, for several seconds, then pursed his lips together into a thin line. “His body was never found,” he said quietly. “There are prison camps.”

Faldor looked up at him. “What do you know of the camps?” Ogre camps were rumored to exist, but no one had ever found one.

Yanek paled and shook his head, fumbling with his utensils. “Nothing. Nothing more than anyone else does.”

How true the elf’s words were, Faldor didn’t know. He suspected, though, that Yanek had more knowledge than he admitted. Was it possible Yanek had been withholding information from him all these years? Faldor sat back and folded his arms across his chest. “Nothing more than anyone else, hmm? That’s good to know. I’d hate to learn a trusted comrade had kept the secret of the king’s own favored knight’s whereabouts to himself. For three years. Such would not sit well with his majesty.”

Excerpt:

“Come with me, Zach.”

“Hush…” Zach whispered. He wanted to treasure the moment as much as he could but it was him who pulled back first. “Let’s go,” he said harshly. “You will miss your bus.” His heart bled at how Drew stared at him in confusion, hurt in his eyes. But he knew he had to let go now or he would never be able to.

He helped Drew with his bags and grasped Drew’s jacket sleeve, hugging him tight and kissing him again, not caring who might be watching. Drew clung onto him just like he used to during those cold nights whenever they were alone in a motel room, and squeezed him for the last time, pulling back. Their eyes met.

“I’ll come back for you.”

Long after the bus was gone, Zach was still standing at the bus station, his heart heavy. Drew was his brother and his lover. Zach realized the unnatural nature of their relationship, but he couldn’t bring himself to care. They only had each other in their lives.

Blurb:

Snowed In is a wintery blend of frost, snow, and romance from eight of Torquere Press’ M/M authors.

Winter storms are dangerous, and in Celibate Cold by Lynn Townsend, Topher finds himself stranded in one when his car slides into a ditch. Alone and scared, he tries to walk home in the blizzard but ends up at Chase’s house, desperately in need of help.

Can an accident on Luke and Tom’s annual hike lead to them becoming more than good friends? Find out in Jessica Chase’s Falling for Love!

In This Winter’s Night by Kassandra Lea, Barry is devastated when he realizes he spends more time talking to his horses than his boyfriend—but that’s about change.

These snow angels have a devilish side! Huey and Tommy think their neighbor Marshall would be a naughty, fun addition to their snow day in Snow Angels by Leigh Ellwood.

In Snow Job by Logan Zachary, winter doesn’t always come with a chill—sometimes it’s smokin’ hot! For Lance and Leo, snowbound and icicles are about to take on whole new meanings.

In Snowy Reunion by Emjay Haze, Steven wonders if he even has a boyfriend since Jonathan walked out after their last argument. But Jonathan surprises Steven during a ski trip and it just might save their relationship.

Seeking the elusive Yeti is Joel’s passion, but he finds more than he bargained for in Adventures of a Yeti Hunter by L.J. Hamlin.

Excerpt:

(Celibate Cold by Lynn Townsend)

Chase squinted. Of course it wasn’t a yeti, he thought. But the creature who was stumbling in his direction was covered in snow from the thighs down and his coat was thick with ice crystals. He had a hat crammed low down over his ears, but no gloves, and his sleeves were crusted with more snow. He’d probably fallen a few times, to judge by the smears of white down his front.

By the time Chase had identified the intruder as being nothing more than a man, his visitor was nearly to the porch. The man’s teeth were chattering so hard that he couldn’t seem to force intelligible words out. Chase caught a few mumbled syllables.

“Well, you look like three miles of bad road,” Chase said. He helped the man up the stairs and then impartially started brushing snow off his back, not really paying attention to where his hands were until the man startled when Chase’s hands came down on his ass, smacking snow away.

The stranger whirled, his brown eyes wide.

Chase held his hands out to his sides, harmless. “No point in trackin’ that all in m’house, man, and you look a bit chilled to do it yourself.”

The man nodded, stomped off his feet as best he could, which wasn’t very well. Chase sighed. The guy was wearing fucking Oxfords, for Christ’s sweet sake. He’d be lucky if he had any toes left at all. Fool.

“Sex,” the man said.

“What?” Chase had to have misheard that. He stuck a finger—snow covered, and cold—into his ear as if to clear it out. Or wind up his brain. “What did you say?”

“Six. Six miles of bad road.”

Excerpt:

Kale peered into the car without getting any closer. He didn’t recognize the older man behind the steering wheel, didn’t really know anyone in this town yet. “Can I help you with something?”

“Probably.” The guy grinned. “How much for a blowjob?”

A fiery blush steamed up Kale’s neck. “Oh. I’m not um…” He glanced down at his clothing—red button-up shirt, jeans, boots. He wasn’t dressed like a hooker, was he? Then again, what did male hookers dress like?

“Fifty bucks?” the guy asked.

“No, you don’t understand.” Kale shook his head. “I’m not um…working. I’m just…” Just what? Just a runaway disappointment.

“Fine. Make it a hundred. C’mon. Get in.”

His eyes went wide. A hundred dollars? For a blowjob? A hundred dollars would get him a room at a motel and a meal for the night. And a blowjob wouldn’t take all that long. But he’d never done anything like that before with a stranger. The guy looked pretty clean. How bad could it be? Just a few minutes’ work, turn his head, spit, and take the money. “I don’t swallow,” he blurted.

The guy shrugged. “I don’t care.”

The words hit Kale with full force. The guy didn’t care. Not about him, his story, why he was out here on the streets in the first place. Not about his past, present, or future. Not about anything beyond his mouth. Kale frowned.

“You coming or not?” the guy prompted.

“Show me the money.”

He held up a hundred dollar bill.

If the guy would pay a hundred dollars for a blowjob, how much would he pay for something else? But Kale had seen way too many Lifetime movies about runaways-turned-prostitutes who got into cars and were never seen again. He puffed out his chest and straightened his shoulders, tried to look like he had some kind of guts. “Okay, but we’re not going to a skeevy hotel or your house or anything. Got it?”

The guy shrugged. “Whatever.”

Kale looked up and down the street and reached for the door handle. The car, like the guy, looked clean and tidy, smelled nice. He smiled at the green, tree-shaped air freshener hanging from the rearview mirror, and tried not to think of that scene in the movie Seven where the cops found hundreds of the things hanging in the sloth victim’s apartment.

Snowed In (FF Anthology) — Book Blitz

Snowed In FF Banner v2

While I’m all about gay erotica and gay romance — I’ve come to learn that sometimes lesbian (F/F) stuff can be smoking hot, too! So, today our blog tour book blitz post is for Snowed In, an F/F Anthology. Check out the blurb, cover, excerpt, and giveaway below!

Blurb:

Excerpt:

A crust of snow caked the steps to the door, broken by a big set of shoe prints. Boots, she thought, and paused, suddenly feeling uncomfortable.

Who was here?

She pulled out her phone and dialed Janet for the fifth time. The line crackled and popped, but it did ring. Alyssa glanced around to the window, but the curtains were drawn tight. The line rang more. Janet’s voice came on, soft and sophisticated. “You’ve reached the voice mail of…”

Alyssa hung up, feeling worried and a little defeated.

Did she smell smoke? She glanced up, and sure enough, there was smoke coming from the chimney. A burglar wouldn’t have decided to light a nice, cozy fire, would he? Whoever was here, it had to be one of Janet’s friends. What were their names? Erin and James?

She tried the knob, and the door swung open easily. Warm air beckoned her inside. Alyssa hauled her bag over the threshold and closed the door, afraid to lose one delicious drop of heat.

“Hello?”

The pop and crackle of the fire replied. Gosh, Janet was so damn lucky. The living room looked straight out of some winter resort, with soft leather couches piled with pillows, thick woven rugs on the floor, an ottoman covered in fur in the middle. The fire cast playful shadows across her feet from the red stone fireplace, which above, sported a breathtaking painting of the mountainside in winter.

Something creaked in the hall.

“Hello?” Alyssa said, her voice coming out thick and wavering.

A shadow flickered ahead.

“Janet?” The shadow paused and moved toward her. Alyssa’s mouth went dry and her hands tightened around the strap of her weekend bag.

God, who was this? Janet didn’t have friends… like this, didn’t she?

The Art of Hero Worship by Mia Kerick (Guest Post)

Art of Hero Worship Tour Banner

Today, I’m thrilled to also host Mia Kerick, who’s currently on a blog tour for her new book, The Art of Hero Worship! Check it all out below — the blurb, cover, a great guest post, and a giveaway!

Back Cover Blurb:

Trembling on the floor, pressed beneath a row of seats in a dark theater, college freshman Jason Tripp listens to the terrifying sound of gunshots, as an unknown shooter moves methodically through the theater, randomly murdering men, women, and children attending a student performance of Hamlet. Junior Liam Norcross drapes his massive body on top of Jason, sheltering the younger man from the deathly hail of bullets, risking his life willingly and maybe even eagerly.

As a result of the shared horror, an extraordinary bond forms between the two young men, which causes discomfort for family and friends, as well as for Jason and Liam, themselves. And added to the challenge of two previously “straight” men falling into a same-sex love, are the complications that arise from the abundance of secrets Liam holds with regard to a past family tragedy. The fledgling passion between the men seems bound to fade away into the darkness from which it emerged.

Jason, however, is inexplicably called to rescue his hero in return, by delving into Liam’s shady past and uncovering the mystery that compels the older man to act as the college town’s selfless savior.

The Art of Hero Worship takes the reader on a voyage from the dark and chilling chaos that accompanies a mass shooting to the thrill of an unexpected and sensual romance.

Having relocated from Boston, Massachusetts to rural New Hampshire, Mia lives with her doting husband, four brilliant and accomplished young adult children who will one day likely contribute to the establishment of world peace (Mia believes in self-fulfilling prophecies), and at least three too many cats. She suffers with a severe case of mall-withdrawal, which leads to frequent online shopping and an overly personal relationship with the UPS driver.

Hyden’s Law by Hurri Cosmo (Book Blitz)

Hyden's Law Banner

Greetings all!

Today I’m thrilled to have Hayden’s Law by Hurri Cosmo featured on the good ol’ blog! Best of all, Hyden’s Law is a FREE STORY! Check below for the blurb, excerpt, and giveaway!

Back Cover Blurb:

Graham’s had it with Alphas. His experiences with them have been disastrous at best. Even with ones that didn’t tumble him into the nearest bed. So when the chance to move in with another Omega comes up, Graham grabs it. But Graham’s never seen an Omega so big. Plus, he seems to be able to push buttons only an Alpha has. However, trust is something that comes easily to Graham. Hyden says nothing about being an Alpha – so he must not be. Right?

Hyden has just met his fated mate – in the middle of a territorial war. Not the best timing. But now that Graham’s here, Hyden can hardly let the little pup escape, which is what he will do if he finds out Hyden is not only an Alpha but the Alpha. With the Mating Moon scant days away how will Hyden convince the smaller Graham that not all Alphas are selfish bastards? And he’s going to have to, because blood fever will not be ignored and Hyden can already feel it taking over his senses. Once it does, there will be no turning back. Hyden might have to resort to handcuffing the pup in order to make sure he doesn’t bolt off into the night. Hmmm. Not a bad thought. He might have to do that anyway…

Hyden's law cover image large

Excerpt from Hyden’s  Law:

Stupid, clueless little pup. Hyden pushed away from the door he had just closed, leaving Graham behind, and forced himself to walk into the living room. If he didn’t, he was sure he would slam that door back open, rip those boxers off the man, and take him right there on the cold hardwood floor.

Why now? Why did his fated mate have to show up now? Fuck, the smell of the man. He had never before experienced anything like it. And for the pup to be ignorant of Hyden’s Alpha status was absolutely crazy. But Hyden knew, due to the strong scent of terror rolling off the smaller man when he had even spoken the word Alpha, his mate would bolt if he learned that Hyden was indeed not only an Alpha but the Alpha.

The Solfang Pack was the dominant pack in the city, and it was odd Graham hadn’t heard of it. And the last thing Hyden was capable of doing was outright lying to his fated mate. He could, and was going to have to, hide some of the truth. But lying was not something he was going to want to do. Even now, with the subterfuge he was planning, he was skating on ground that would have him in high water to his eyebrows with one false step.

The timing of this sucked. He was just now moving into supreme power, and to be sidetracked by a naïve little pup was definitely going to be a problem. But he sure as hell wasn’t going to be able to let Graham slip away from him either. Hyden wasn’t the one who placed the ad in the paper, but if Graham needed to rent a room, he would rent it from him. And if Graham needed to believe Hyden was an Omega, then that’s what Hyden was going to have to be for a while. At least until he could convince the pup they were mates.

Except it was a little over two weeks to the Mating Moon.

Was that going to be enough time for him to get Graham to understand what was happening? Because he would not be able to hold back when that moon hit. He was barely able to keep his wolf at bay the way it was. Snapping and growling at him already, his animal was clawing to get out and at the pup.

He heard a noise behind him, and he turned.

There he was. Beautiful and innocent. Maybe not virginal. That was fine. But he was in no way going to allow Graham to be physical with anyone else from now on. “Feeling better?” The sweatpants and top he had given the man were very obviously too big. They belonged to his sister, who was no small thing herself.

“Yes. Thank you.”

He had pushed up the sleeves and rolled up the pant legs. He looked absolutely adorable.

And fuckable.

Hyden wanted to touch the hot skin beneath that fabric.

But he would have to wait. Shit. The beautiful man was talking to him, and he’d missed it.

“I’m sorry, Graham. What did you say?”

“I asked… what… what is the price? I think the paper was wrong. I think it was a typo or something because…”

“Come. Let’s sit down.” It would be easier for him to hide his reaction to this man if they sat. Hyden walked over to one of the white couches. He truly desired for Graham to sit at his feet, to keep him near, and almost commanded him to do so but was able to keep his mouth shut. The gorgeous man sat opposite him on the other couch. Damn it. So far away.

Oh, he was so timid. He sat perched at the end, looking ready to run at the slightest thing. Did he suspect? He should. How Hyden was going to keep from Graham what he was, he wasn’t sure, but at the very least, he was going to have to hide his extreme attraction. And his overpowering need to command the man to bend over for him. Right now.

He swallowed hard. Keep on task, or you will lose him. “What did the ad say?”

“It said two hundred dollars a month. But I know that can’t be right.”

“Two hundred a month is fine.”

“What? But…”

“Two hundred a month is the price. Do you want it?”

“Oh yes! Yes, please.”

Damn. The word please coming from those lips… Lips Hyden wanted wrapped around his cock. “Good. When can we move you in?”

“Today? Is today too soon?”

Today. Relief swept through Hyden. He would soon have the pup under his roof and his protection. No mistakes. He could make no mistakes. “No. Not at all. Where is your stuff?”

“In Tenway Park. In the Mercury building. I live on the tenth floor. It’s… not like this. I don’t know if you know anything about Tenway Park. I – it’s kind of slummy.”

Tenway Park. Damn. It totally figured he would be coming from the inner city. The wolves in that district rejected any kind of pack authority, had long ago abolished packs altogether. He understood the payoffs. Alphas running amok with no self-discipline, fucking everything in their path, not to mention the fact crime was a way of life. The only rule: don’t get caught. And even then, if you had money and power, getting caught simply meant you gained more influence and notoriety. Having to submit to a pack would stop all such behavior. Hyden’s Betas had been slowly infiltrating the area and bringing back much needed information. At some point, Hyden would take over the zone, and he needed to know who were going to be the ones he would have to defeat in order to do it. Just the knowledge that this was where his Graham had been living made him shiver.

About Hurri Cosmo

abstract design with a girl grunge text

Hurri Cosmo lives in Minnesota where she holds tight to the idea that there, where it’s cold a good part of the year, she won’t age as fast. Yep, she avoids the truth as much as she avoids mirrors. But one of the reasons she loves writing is reality doesn’t always offer up a “happily ever after” and being able to take control of that is a powerful lure. Being a happy ending junkie, writing just makes them easier to find. Oh, she doesn’t mind “real life” and she does try to at least keep it in mind when she writes her stories, but she truly loves creating a wonderful couple, knowing they will fall in love and have their HEA. Every – single – time. And, of course, that is exactly the reason she loves reading this genre, too. Give her a glass of red wine, some dark chocolate, and her computer, whether she is reading or writing, and she will entertain herself for hours. The fact she actually gets paid to do it is Snickers bars on the frosting on the cake.
