Arielle Immortal Journey: The 5th paranormal romance in Lilian Roberts' popular Immortal Rapture Series is released!
Booktrope has released the fifth paranormal romance in Lilian Roberts' Immortal Rapture Series. Arielle Immortal Journey is the first completely new book we've seen from the author since 2013. The novel continues the love affair between part-time telepath Arielle Lloyd and her immortal fiancé Sebastian Gaulle; but, this volume includes an exciting time travel element to shake things up.
Arielle Immortal Journey
An invitation to magic…
As the love story between engineering student Arielle Lloyd and her Immortal fiancé, the striking Sebastian Gaulle, continues, Arielle is invited to attend a meeting of the secret Veneti Society. She readily accepts as she must learn to use her powerful amulet and mystical book of spells to protect herself from constant danger.
Dangerous mortals…
Sebastian’s company is about to introduce advanced security systems to protect their global operations, but the head of Russian intelligence is determined to infiltrate the company and use it to his own ends. The Russians failed once, but they’ve vowed to stop at nothing this time, even if it means the destruction of all that Sebastian loves.
A journey to the past…
As a gift from her Immortal friend Eva, Arielle is whisked back in time to the 18th century to a glittering ball in Calais. There, she meets Sebastian as a mortal man, before he was given immortality. Although he does not recognize her, their souls connect instantly. But a jealous Immortal wants to possess Arielle as his own and vows to hunt her through eternity — and he’s not the only one. With this new evil threatening her, Arielle’s ancient amulet and her powerful friends may not be enough to keep her safe.

I would appreciate your opinion…
I have been an avid reader, all my life. Ever since I can remember myself, I would read every romance, mystery, detective, crime, or adventure story I could get my hands on. I enjoy following the characters through the twists and turns of the plot, sharing their thoughts, and experiencing their feelings.
Some people enjoy drama, others comedy, others suspense… After all, we all have different taste. That’s what makes the world go round. Some people like it when they are questions left unanswered and issues to contemplate over, at the end of the novel. That’s an interesting concept. However, I prefer it when all questions are answered, all matters are settled, and only a feeling of happiness is left. I love books where everything ties up nicely in the end, honesty and justice prevail, and make me smile. It doesn’t matter if there is sadness, heartache, and suspense along the way, as long as when the time comes, there is a happy ending. I feel happy when the main characters solve their issues, find justice, and achieve their goals.
I would appreciate your opinion about happy endings—do you prefer a happy ending in a novel or not? Does it stay longer with you when a question is left unanswered? Does an issue left outstanding provoke more thinking?

My Review of CRASHING DOWN TO EARTH by Terry Reid
Angel Sefer's Reviews > Crashing Down to Earth
5 our to 5 Stars
What a wonderful and unique storyline!
I was intrigued by the description and had to read this book. It was a fast-paced, full of action, and unique storyline with very interesting, mostly celestial, characters – especially the wonderful soul mates Hayley and Alex.
Quite different than the mystery romance genre I usually enjoy, I was pleasantly surprised by this fascinating, paranormal read which kept me excited and eager until the very end. I loved the dialogues and the action scenes and would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a well-written, exciting book.

“You have the ability to command anything..."
“You have the ability to command anything. Here is something you can say to command that negative thoughts leave you:
'Be gone! You have no part in me. I am Spirit. I harbor only the good and perfect thoughts of Spirit.'
Never were truer words spoken.”

Angel Sefer's Reviews > The Gordonston Ladies Dog Walking Club
5 out of 5 Stars
One of the best dark comedy mysteries I have ever read!
I love Agatha Christie, and it was inevitable to enjoy this novel. Mystery, secrets, hidden agendas, deceit, danger, and an amazing cast of intriguing characters – each one with secrets of his own – build a fascinating mystery plot. I loved every minute of it – or rather every page of it!

5 out of 5 Stars
A fascinating, fast-paced, and well-written tale seasoned with hot erotic scenes!
“The Branches of Time” is a masterful blend of adult fantasy and science fiction. It has a very intriguing and original plot with lots of unpredictable twists and turns, as well as captivating characters. Before I knew it, I was drawn into this new world the author created, full of wizards, priestesses, time-travel, and magic…
This is the first novel in this genre that literally kept me glued to the pages and is definitely worth a 5 star rating!

“A feeling that greater possessions..."
“A feeling that greater possessions, no matter of what kind they may be, will of themselves bring contentment or happiness, is a misunderstanding. No person, place, or thing can give you happiness. They may give you cause for happiness and a feeling of contentment, but the Joy of Living comes from within.” GENEVIEVE BEHREND (1881-1960) Your Invisible Power

Excerpt of "Deadly Secrets" - Chapter Four, Part Four
Around eleven o’clock at night, they heard the front door open. A couple minutes later, Dimitris walked into the living room.
Helena drew a deep breath and swallowed hard, secretly admiring the seductively handsome man with the flawless face and the incredibly built body showing underneath the tight fitting jeans and t-shirt.
“What are you two up to?” he asked, his gaze set on Helena. The irresistible, sexy smile on his face made Helena’s pulse accelerate.
“We’re listening to some music,” Sophie said. “Did you have a good time?”
“It was all right,” he replied, keeping his eyes on Helena.
Walking over to the bar, he poured himself some brandy. He took his glass and went to sit by the window.
“Did you enjoy your swim this afternoon?” Dimitris asked her.
“You went swimming?” Sophie cut in. “You should have told me to come with you. I love swimming. I just don’t like going by myself,” she continued.
“We can go tomorrow morning,” Helena said. “It was wonderful this afternoon, and I want to enjoy it for as long as I stay here.”
“We’ll go tomorrow morning then,” Sophie said and got up. “You have to excuse me, but I’m really tired,” she said and left the room.
Helena was uncomfortable being left alone with Dimitris. She went and left her empty glass on the bar and walked towards the window. The surface of the water was lit by the moonlight, and Helena felt the urge to go swimming again. Don’t be ridiculous, she reprimanded herself.
Dimitris came and stood right behind her, looking outside, too.
“It’s beautiful,” he said. “Isn’t it? I would never trade this place with anywhere in the world.”
Helena understood exactly how he felt. She wished she could stay here forever, too.
“How could you stay away for so long?” he asked her, and Helena shifted uncomfortably.
She didn’t want to discuss such matters with him. She never really wanted to leave the island, and all these years she was away, she always dreamed about it. Then again, she knew how her mother felt about this, and she didn’t want to upset her. After her mother was gone, she wanted to come back, but she was dreading it, too. She had no idea how to approach her relatives here, after not been in contact with them for solong. And even worse, she wasn’t sure they would want her to come back, after her mother’s behavior all these years. However, she wasn’t about to discuss all these things with Dimitris. He was nothing but a stranger to her.
“I’m really tired,” she said and wishing him goodnight, she walked out of the room, leaving him alone.
She thought she heard a soft laugh, but she couldn’t be sure. Walking upstairs to her room, she was convinced she wasn’t going to be able to sleep. However, she fell asleep the moment she laid her head on the pillow, totally unaware of the dark shadow hovering outside the French doors leading to the veranda, watching her.
I hope you have enjoyed the first four chapters of "Deadly Secrets"
