I'm glad I did. What you get is three independent stories, each taking you to a new Greek island until you feel like you're taking a guided tour of the isles that happens to stumble upon mysteries and murders. The romance is well done too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Romantic and Suspenseful, November 15, 2014By Susan Dawson Cook (Tucson, AZ) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME) This review is from: The Greek Isles Collection (Kindle Edition)Investigative reporter Jackie Alexander travels to Corfu, Greece and pokes around the Demiris mansion in the middle of the night, hoping to find out what’s behind the string of murders in her family. She doesn’t expect to run into detective Michael Apostolou, though, who has his own agenda for being in the mansion in the dead of night. The physical attraction, kidnappings, shootouts and intrigue kept me reading late into the night.
All three of Sefer's romantic suspense stories kept me quickly turning pages. There were lots of twists and turns, so I was never sure who to trust and what was going to happen next. Fabulous series!

This review is from: Deadly Secrets (The Greek Isles Series Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
Who doesn't love a good romance that is blended with a mixture of emotions? Deadly Secrets by Angel Sefer does just that by mingling mystery, suspense, and excitement into this romance. The story takes place on Mykonos, my favorite of all the beautiful Greek Island. The main Characters Helena and Dimitris are believable. There is romance in the air but the mystery that looms over Helena and the disappearance of her father makes the plot turn intriguing. It gives a depth to the story and makes the reader believe that something suspicious lurks ahead. The story is captivating and the development of the romantic chemistry between the lead characters is wonderful.
Truthfully, I love a romance. Deadly Secrets is exactly the kind of book I love and I am now a fan of Angel Sefer. Ms Sefer is a very talented and gifted author who has written an engaging story. I can’t wait to read her next book. I would recommend this to any person that loves romance, mystery and who would like to get an imagery of the surroundings to be found on one of the most beautiful islands in Greece. It is easy to understand why Ms. Sefer has won so many awards. I am curious to see how long it takes for her works to be discovered by someone who will see the potential of turning this series into movies.
Captivating

This review is from: The Heiress of Santorini (The Greek Isles Series Book 3) (Kindle Edition)
The Heiress of Santorini (The Greek Isles Series Book 3) by Angel Sefer is the book for you if you love suspense, romance and international intrigue. I was captivated by this book from the first, as it begins in Atlanta, GA.
In Book 3 of The Greek Isle Series, Sefer takes us from Atlanta, to NYC to the breathe takingly, beautiful Greek island of Santorini. The heroine of the series, Alexandra, discovers hidden deceptions regarding her billionaire client. She unexpectedly meets Mark, who is gorgeous and unobtainable.
Ms. Sefer's ability to describe locales is a rare talent. She is a true story teller. This book combines so many elements which make for a sensational reading experience, mystery, romance, intrigue, are all used to their advantage in keeping the reader interested in the plot. The book is well written, the characters are fully developed and well thought out.
I'm not even going to prepare you for the ending...
Even though The Heiress of Santorini is part of a series, it can easily be read as a stand alone novel. The end of the book brings a note from the author stating that there will be a Book 4 in this series. As each book revolves around a different Geek Isle, I cannot wait to see how she ties in Atlanta and the island of Cephalonia. You must place this book on your #MustRead list.

Amazing Reviews for The Greek Isles Collection
19 of 19 people found the following review helpful5.0 out of 5 stars Mysteries and suspense spiced with romance and majestic Greek islands, November 11, 2014By Claude D. - See all my reviewsVerified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: The Greek Isles Collection (Kindle Edition)Ms. Sefer’s books will transport you to the land of Greek Gods, modern ones—ruggedly handsome men and stunning intelligent women that will keep you riveted from the first paragraph to the last page, as they weave in and out of danger and pathos, with each of the stories set on a gloriously beautiful Greek island. If you love a good mystery filled with twists and turns, spiced with romance and magnificent Greek settings, then this is the collection you’ve been waiting for.
When you finish reading a book you enjoyed the end is bittersweet, because you savored the read, but it ended. This is the way you feel when you finish Ms. Sefer’s books, however, you’re in luck because you can get The Greek Isles Collection, a series of three of the author’s wonderful books. Each one is masterful, with great attention to detail, character and plot development. I also particularly enjoyed the majestic settings, and the different backgrounds of the protagonists.
Highly recommended!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Collection, November 9, 2014By Thomas Baker (Santiago, Chile) - See all my reviewsThis review is from: The Greek Isles Collection (Kindle Edition)What an amazing collection! I have read all of these books from this wonderful author. I look forward to reading more from Angel Sefer in the future. I have collected my reviews of the books in this collection below:
Spellbound In His Arms:
Engaging & Enjoyable
I am a person who loves to travel, to experience language, culture, traditions, customs, and foods that are different to my own. I particularly enjoy reading books in which the author merges unique places into a powerful backdrop to the story, thereby adding a flavor that enhances the story itself. That is the case with this book, "Spellbound In His arms", by Angel Sefer.
(Quote) "In this series, while sharing with my readers the development of the romance between my hero and heroine, and the unfolding of the mystery, I also take the opportunity to share with them the unbelievable experience of visiting some of the most enchanting Greek islands - places of impeccable beauty, where nature exists lavishly in hundreds of shades of green and blue, and in which centuries of Greek tradition coexist harmoniously with cosmopolitan activity." (end of quote)
As you can tell, this was a book that grabbed my attention. I was captivated from beginning to end. In fact, I did not put this book down until I had read the last page, in one sitting. A highly engaging, enjoyable read for fans of the genre. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Deadly Secrets:
The Ultimate Dilemma
"Deadly Secrets" by Angel Sefer is a story that merges mystery and romance in a hybrid genre that sets a new standard. This novel is set in a fabulous location, namely, The Greek Island of Mykonos. The protagonist, Helena, goes to visit her aunt Sophie. While there, she meets Dimitris, a character who is quite likeable. With the romantic elements in place, we now turn to the mystery of her father's disappearance many years ago. A diary serves as a source to drive the plot forward. Slowly, but surely, a realization dawns upon the reader. Finally, we come to question whether or not Dimitrius is everything that he appears to be on the surface. For me, that is the most significant dilemma that Helena must deal with in this book, ultimately... Highly recommended.
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.
The Heiress of Santorini:
An intriguing mystery romance set in a dazzling setting with dark hues of violence
"The Heiress of Santorini" (The Greek Isles Series Book 3), by Angel Sefer, is a well written, compelling read. This novel has it all: mystery, action, suspense, romance, and breathtaking descriptions of a paradise with dark hues of violence. When a story crosses genres like this, the result is a wider appeal to a larger reading audience. If you are a fan of mixed genre literature, with action, suspense and romance all added to the mix, you will enjoy this book.
The characters and plot are compelling. We have a billionaire client who drives Alexandra, a breathtakingly beautiful insurance manager, over the edge. But Alex cannot help herself and lusts after Mark. The action is non-stop, the suspense is sensual, the deceit is delicious, and the murder is malicious. Highly recommended.

6 of 6 people found the following review helpful5.0 out of 5 stars Spellbound by Greek Isles' beauty and mystery, November 9, 2014By Avid reader - See all my reviewsVerified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: The Greek Isles Collection (Kindle Edition)After reading "Spellbound in his Arms", I knew I wanted this entire series in one place, so bought "The Greek Isles Collection" with much expectation. Transported to the beautiful Mediterranean isles, I felt as though being right there, investigating, unveiling mysterious past or falling in love together with the lively, lovely characters, among the breathtaking scenery and a thrilling suspense.
Jackie's and Michael's passionate yet complicated relationship that blossomed so thrillingly in the first book had me on the edge of my seat. I thought it could not get any better, but when in the second book I met Helena and her quest to learn the truth about her father, with Captain Dimitris Nikolaou sailing in to complicate it all, I knew I'm addicted to this series. By that time I waited for the third book book impatiently, and rushed to buy the collection the moment it came out.
Mystery and sizzling romance in the most breathtaking scenery, so delightfully different from the usual romance novels; suspense, deceit and intrigue; smooth writing and masterly story-telling - it's all there, in this wonderfully refreshing collection of books that I will reread more than once, I suspect.
Highly recommended!!!

(TOP 500 REVIEWER) This review is from: The Greek Isles Collection (Kindle Edition)"Spellbound in His Arms" by Angel Sefer is a great romantic suspense story set on the beautiful Greek island of Corfu. The story throws the reader in at the deep end with investigative reporter Jackie Alexander being caught breaking and entering in a mansion while trying to find information about a series of 'accidents'. The suspicious events are eliminating heirs to a family fortune in Greece and Jackie's wants to prevent further deaths by taking matters in her own hand.
Caught by the very attractive detective Michael Apolstolou she soon joins forces with him but the relationship between them remains 'complicated'.
The story is written so smoothly and well paced that I hardly noticed the time passing. The chemistry between the characters is right there from the start but Sefer has thankfully added a few more threads to the complex plot to keep readers intrigued and involved beyond the romance story.
With a love for detail the author describes the life of the rich, the corrupt and the powerful, the evil doers and their intrigues, distrust and often unhappy lives.
Romance and mystery lovers are being served well here with great suspense and a strong romance between the two main characters taking centre stage in an exciting and passionate crime novel.
Great entertainment.
"The Heiress of Santorini" by Angel Sefer is another excellent instalment in her Greek Island Series. In a very Greek tradition the book is a firework of suspense, intrigue, secrecy, jealousy, revenge, deceit and desire.
Alexandra Stewart is sent to Santorini on an important and prestigious work assignment but it throws her into a net of conflicts of interest and confronts her with some of her family's past and cast out family members.
This story is well plotted written with excellent passion, chemistry and suspense. The sense of mystery and secrets to be uncovered starts on page one and never lets off. Like the Greek islands, each book in this series has its own flavour and this one is as explosive and simmering as a volcano.
A must read for fans of romantic suspense.

Desiring Death Excerpt:
The door opened silently and she was greeted by the dim interior within, lit up by little more than candles and a few strategically placed bulbs, but, oh, how they reflected the light. Rushing inside her sanctum and striding forwards, as if being further inside the church would help her in her plight for safety, she couldn’t help but be stunned by the richness of its design. There was a reason it had been given the nickname of ‘Chiesa d’Oro,’ or ‘Church of Gold.’ Glittering mosaics lined both the floor and the ceiling, and the gold glass created a shimmering movement that was truly incredible. Looking up into the vast height between herself and the domed ceiling, she had reason to feel very small. Then something clicked inside her and she realised that not only had she not seen a priest at the door, but no-one had made a sound since her entrance. Spinning around to scan the area behind her, she saw that while the door had been closed firmly shut there appeared to be not a soul in sight. Whilst Violetta would normally have been more than capable of taking care of herself, she was in no fit state to defend herself this evening. She could only hope that the benevolent priest who had answered her call had left her some privacy in which to pray.‘My, what an impressive effort, cherie. Futile, of course, but impressive, nevertheless.’ Jumping up in shock, she looked around and searched frantically for a member of the clergy to come to her rescue. There was no-one to be found. ‘The priests have been disposed of, cherie. It’s just you and me.’ And there he was, pristine perfection, looking cool, calm and unruffled. His full-length dark-grey wool coat had not a mark upon it, his loafers were polished to a high shine and his hair flopped in beautiful ebony planes against his face. Not even the wind was able to mar his beauty. He was lounging against a sixteenth century font to her left and looked exceptionally comfortable there. She wanted to burst into tears.Speechless, she watched as both of his hands cupped themselves together and gathered water from the font. He liberally splashed himself with it and she knew that he wanted a reaction from her. Goddamn the man was an utter bastard. She refused to give him one. Violetta Cancellaro was not going to run over to him and try to tear his eyes out of his head. That would give him exactly what he wanted. She could not school her expression, however. Her eyes shot out of her head and her mouth dropped open in dismay. ‘You,’ she accused, though no further words were forthcoming. Her hands were shaking at the thought of what he might have done to the priests. If she had not come here tonight, they might still have been alive. She had an awful moment where she wondered how many deaths would be heaped upon her conscience this evening. ‘Why did you have to kill them?’ Her legs crumpled downwards and her knees sank to the tessellated carpet of marble below. They hit the cold, unforgiving floor with a dull thud.‘Oh yea of little faith,’ he mocked. ‘Contrary to popular belief, I do not go around murdering messengers of God or deflowering virgins on a regular basis. For you, I’ll make a special exception, but the general rule is to steer well clear of them.’ He raised an eyebrow at her, knowing full well that she did not believe him. ‘Relax, cherie. I sent them to sleep. They are having a quiet snooze up near the altar.’She immediately scrabbled to her feet and turned around to confirm his words. On closer inspection she found two figures, both clad in voluminous black cassocks, could be seen strung across the front pew. A few halting steps forward, and she could see that he had in fact told the truth, for both chests were rising and falling and the sound of gentle snores could be heard. She remembered to breathe.‘Come now, princess. It’s time to take a little trip. I have a four poster bed and several sets of handcuffs with your name on them, although I think that the dark, black rope would look particularly fetching wrapped around your alabaster arms. What do you think, darling?’
