My Review on "Dominant Seduction: The Complete Series" by Lynn Cooper

I Love Books!

I love mystery, suspense, action, romance, adventure, paranormal, chick lit, thrillers, and lots of other genres. Every chance I have, I devour one book after the other, always thinking that there isn’t enough time to read all the books I would like to. And when I devote time to reading a book, I also make the time to write a review. Because first of all, I know how important reviews are for writers and secondly, I want to share my thoughts and feelings about the book I have just read.

However, I don’t write reviews for all the books I read or start reading and put them down after a few pages. I write reviews about books I loved (5 stars), or I liked (4 stars), or even sometimes if I thought they were just okay (3 stars). I don’t write negative 1 and 2 stars reviews. First of all, because I know all the hard work a writer has to put into a book from the first paragraph all the way to having it published, and I respect that; and secondly, because we don’t all have the same taste. Things that I love other people might hate and vice versa. We don’t all like the same people, houses, cars, clothes, hobbies, and, of course, books. That’s what makes the world go round. We all have different taste, and the beauty of this world is that there is always someone or something out there that fits exactly what we’re looking for.

Having said that, I should say that I respect the way other people feel about reviews. Some people feel that if they read a book they didn’t like, they should post a negative review with their opinion to prevent others who feel the same from wasting their time on this particular book. I respect that, but that’s not the way I feel. And I always do what feels right for me.
Of course, I’m not talking about professional reviewers—experts in their field who read hundreds of books and their opinion / review is requested. That’s different. They are asked to provide their opinion, and they do—whether it’s good or bad. That’s a risk a writer has to take, every time he or she asks for a review by a professional reviewer. And, in this case, even negative reviews are useful and constructive because a writer gets a feedback on his work that would be very helpful in the next book he or she writes.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm glad I did, November 15, 2014By Jessica - See all my reviewsThis review is from: The Greek Isles Collection (Kindle Edition)I picked up this collection after learning that the first book was a finalist in the RONE awards. What you get is three independent stories, each taking you to a new Greek island until you feel like you're taking a guided tour of the isles that happens to stumble upon mysteries and murders. The romance is well done too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Romantic and Suspenseful, November 15, 2014By Susan Dawson Cook (Tucson, AZ) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME) This review is from: The Greek Isles Collection (Kindle Edition)Investigative reporter Jackie Alexander travels to Corfu, Greece and pokes around the Demiris mansion in the middle of the night, hoping to find out what’s behind the string of murders in her family. She doesn’t expect to run into detective Michael Apostolou, though, who has his own agenda for being in the mansion in the dead of night. The physical attraction, kidnappings, shootouts and intrigue kept me reading late into the night.
All three of Sefer's romantic suspense stories kept me quickly turning pages. There were lots of twists and turns, so I was never sure who to trust and what was going to happen next. Fabulous series!

This review is from: Deadly Secrets (The Greek Isles Series Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
Who doesn't love a good romance that is blended with a mixture of emotions? Deadly Secrets by Angel Sefer does just that by mingling mystery, suspense, and excitement into this romance. The story takes place on Mykonos, my favorite of all the beautiful Greek Island. The main Characters Helena and Dimitris are believable. There is romance in the air but the mystery that looms over Helena and the disappearance of her father makes the plot turn intriguing. It gives a depth to the story and makes the reader believe that something suspicious lurks ahead. The story is captivating and the development of the romantic chemistry between the lead characters is wonderful.
Truthfully, I love a romance. Deadly Secrets is exactly the kind of book I love and I am now a fan of Angel Sefer. Ms Sefer is a very talented and gifted author who has written an engaging story. I can’t wait to read her next book. I would recommend this to any person that loves romance, mystery and who would like to get an imagery of the surroundings to be found on one of the most beautiful islands in Greece. It is easy to understand why Ms. Sefer has won so many awards. I am curious to see how long it takes for her works to be discovered by someone who will see the potential of turning this series into movies.
Captivating

This review is from: The Heiress of Santorini (The Greek Isles Series Book 3) (Kindle Edition)
The Heiress of Santorini (The Greek Isles Series Book 3) by Angel Sefer is the book for you if you love suspense, romance and international intrigue. I was captivated by this book from the first, as it begins in Atlanta, GA.
In Book 3 of The Greek Isle Series, Sefer takes us from Atlanta, to NYC to the breathe takingly, beautiful Greek island of Santorini. The heroine of the series, Alexandra, discovers hidden deceptions regarding her billionaire client. She unexpectedly meets Mark, who is gorgeous and unobtainable.
Ms. Sefer's ability to describe locales is a rare talent. She is a true story teller. This book combines so many elements which make for a sensational reading experience, mystery, romance, intrigue, are all used to their advantage in keeping the reader interested in the plot. The book is well written, the characters are fully developed and well thought out.
I'm not even going to prepare you for the ending...
Even though The Heiress of Santorini is part of a series, it can easily be read as a stand alone novel. The end of the book brings a note from the author stating that there will be a Book 4 in this series. As each book revolves around a different Geek Isle, I cannot wait to see how she ties in Atlanta and the island of Cephalonia. You must place this book on your #MustRead list.
