My Pride Mission
My Pride Mission is that 50% of all my ebook profits for the next month will be split between donations to All Out and The Rainbow Project to celebrate Pride Month
There's so many amazing charities I could have chosen from, but I decided to go with a global LGBTQ+ charity and then one more local to my area.

Monday
My anticipated return to writing has finally arrived! Monday is a prequel to The Seven, told from the perspective of Matthew, Monday's Child. Releases June 30th!
I am super excited to share this story with everyone!
For now Monday is Kindle exclusive but from what I understand all you need is an Amazon account and the Kindle app to be able to pre-order, purchase, read, etc. Please let me know if I'm wrong with that!
I'm both excited and nervous about returning to the writing world so be gentle with me! But ultimately I feel elated to be back.

Look What You Made Me Do
To celebrate the release of The Tortured Poet's Department on April 19th, I have spent the last week assigning lyrics from Taylor Swift songs to each member of The Seven. Seven characters, seven songs. Each post can be found individually on my Threads profile, but I've also combined them here into one master post for easy access.
First we had Monday, which belongs to Matthew, Monday's Child. His lyrics came from "Mastermind" from the album Midnights.

Tuesday Child is Titus, and his lyrics came from "Long Story Short" from the album Evermore.

Day three was Whitney, Wednesday's Child. Her song was "Blank Space" from the album 1989.

We all know who Thursday is, and her lyrics are from "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" from The Tortured Poet's Department.

The fifth day of the week is Finn, Friday's Child, and his lyrics came from "Cardigan" from the album Folklore.

The penultimate day of the week is for Sybil, Saturday's Child. Her lyrics came from "Marjorie" from the album Evermore.

It's debatable whether the best was saved for last, but the final day of the week is Sawyer, Sunday's Child. His song is "Would've, Could've, Should've" from the album Midnights.

This was a fun little project to do over the past week! It also opens up the possibility of putting together a playlist for The Seven in the future. I definitely remember assigning certain songs to each character (not just Taylor Swift ones) during my planning stages in 2016, but I'd need to dig out my old notebooks to find what those songs were. I remember some, but not all of them. That doesn't mean new songs can't be added, though! I guess we'll have to see!
The Seven: Wooden Edition is available on Kindle and free on Kindle Unlimited. Check it out today, and let me know if you agree with the lyrics I've assigned! Even better, let me know if you know of ones that fit better!
Keep creating,
Erin

Celebration
My sister and I went to Blue Cedar in Ballynahinch for a little celebratory breakfast/brunch for the release of The Seven: Wooden Edition on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited yesterday. The food was amazing and that heart shaped German biscuit was delicious! Fantastic morning and a great wee way to celebrate my latest writing venture

Release Day!
Sometimes I can't believe it's been five years since The Seven was released. It has felt like no time at all. Other times it has felt exactly like five years. From 19 to 25, from 2019 to 2024.
Publishing The Seven has been one of, if not the, biggest achievement of my life, and it's been really exciting for me to work on the revamped Wooden Edition to celebrate this milestone. Exclusive to Kindle, the new and improved version of The Seven had been bought and downloaded onto any device with the Kindle app on it.

My Brief Dip into Design
Hi everyone!
Since I had my cover reveal the other day, I thought it would be fun to take you guys back to my media course for a moment.
It was 2016/17. We were tasked with designing a front cover for a piece of media (e.g. book, CD, DVD) I did my project for the imaginary published version of a story I was working on that I was calling "Thursday."
This would eventually become "The Seven."
Below are some of the covers I made for my project (featuring my BFF Niamh in the first and Emeraude Toubia in the second)! The final one might look familiar: It became the draft design for the first edition of The Seven in 2019!

Massive thanks to everyone who has supported my journey so far as an author. These past five years have been eye-opening, and I can't wait to continue to explore the literary world with my next release in June (keep your eyes peeled!)
