Be The Light You Carry In Your Heart
The brightest light we carry is the one that resides eternally in our hearts. It cannot be extinguished, lessened or dimmed by anything other than our own intentions. It is always aglow and ready to burst forth with a beauty that creates an energy beyond measurement. This is the light you are here to share.
Your light is composed of everything that has happened to you in your life and it is what you offer to the world. Each soul has a light that is unique, like DNA and fingerprints, and it can never be duplicated. Your light is created by everything that makes up you: the history, family, talents, challenges, perspectives and relationships you have experienced all contribute to your light essence beyond what the mind can decipher. Even your culture, appearance and physical abilities have been selectively chosen as a part of your light. You are here to share your light in an effortless and glorious way.
As you allow your natural essence to shine forth, you will be your natural self in easier ways. You will feel smoother transitions as your light glides and guides you through different relationships, places, and phases of life that you have outgrown. You will see the beauty of each of these parts of you as they end, and your spirit goes on to the next level of development. The light of your heart will effortlessly guide the way. Spiritual Courage, Conscious Confidence

What messages from your heart are calling you? What dreams and goals are waiting to be unleashed this year? Where in your life are you ready to stretch and expand more?
Courage stems from the French word coeur, meaning heart, and incorporates "the strength of your inner most feelings."
Confidence stems from the French word confidere, meaning "to have full trust and reliance."
We are fortified with courage and confidence to create the life of our dreams, yet we can become disconnected from these qualities with various energy shifts.
2014 has dynamic, big energies to move you forward, and since there is no way to resist the changes, it's time to own what you really, truly want in your life and be ready to take bold actions!
Full Moon in Cancer: Source Your Power From The Heart
Every Full Moon is a polarity of energies ready to be balanced and integrated into a higher form. January 15th's Full Moon in Cancer at 26 degrees is a call to examine how we are meeting our needs for safety and security while also pushing ourselves forward to new goals. Self-care is essential to traverse a committed climb, and yet for maximum results, it is wise to listen to our hearts and tune inward for validation.
Since late December, five planets have been in Capricorn (Pluto, Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury) adding seriousness and weight to where we direct our energies, while also creating tension, movement, and wisdom to our journey with the ongoing Cardinal Grand Cross. Now we focus on our emotional needs and discern where we can be more powerful in our personal energy field.
What has come to your awareness since the New Moon on January 1? Where are you ready to open up to deeper Divine Feminine experiences through your heart chakra? Have you discovered new situations, people, or unconscious patterns that perpetuate disrespect or fear?
The dynamics of this Full Moon involve releasing what you have stifled, suppressed, or held back to maintain a false sense of peace in relationships – both within yourself and with others (T-square with Mars in Libra, Jupiter in Cancer, and Venus in Capricorn). Relationship changes may be needed to assert your self-respect, personal integrity, and trust in the wisdom of your feelings more.
If anyone is triggering you at this time, understand how they are a soul supporting your growth to greater truth and knowingness. They are highlighting where you are ready to be stronger in your energy; choose to feel empowered about this opportunity to dismantle what no longer serves you. Avoid any victim or child-like tendencies that stem from the inner child's needs for adult validation. You have the acceptance you seek!
Boundaries are incredibly important right now. Cancer energy can easily receive more than it gives, which opens up this soft energy to hard imposers. If anyone is throwing energy at you – verbally, emotionally, spiritually, energetically – safeguard yourself with shields of white light. Simply envision yourself surrounded by a cocoon of glowing white light that extends a few feet away from your physical self. Connect the energy down to Earth and up to Spirit. With this easy exercise, you feel into the experience of being connected to everything you need at all times, which is the most reliable way to source your need for safety, security, and self-respect.

Incoming! It's Not You, It's The Sun

The latest email is an easy-to-understand science report with four energy tips for navigating incoming solar activity. Join the list to recieve the awesomeness directly in your inbox!
Solar flares are explosions of energy from the Sun (composed of ions, electrons, and atoms) that affect Earth’s magnetic fields. Strong solar flares often create CMEs (coronal mass ejections), shown in the picture above, which are bursts of powerful energies that can stir up trouble for GPS, radio waves, satellites, air traffic, and other electromagnetic systems. When a CME and/or solar flare erupts on the Sun, it often hits Earth and our magnetic fields within one to three days.
Our friends at NASA reported an X-class solar flare, the biggest type, was omitted on January 7 as the Sun was facing Earth (this isn’t always the case; solar flares can stem from any point on the Sun’s surface). The power of this blast will be affecting our atmosphere and personal energy fields January 9, 10, and 11.
By the way, solar flare activity is happening all of the time; it is not rare or an isolated phenomenon. What DOES make it incredible is that this is a very strong one!
And during these few days, the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) are being pushed south. The insurgence of energy is so powerful that the auroral activity will be visible down towards the U.S./Canadian border. That’s pretty incredible!
All of this to say! The Sun's potent energy can affect us energetically, physically, emotionally, and psychologically. I actually woke up after midnight last night because I felt the incoming waves (Official thought running through my brain: What the frick is this?! Ah, the joys of being tuned in).

Light Breakthroughs + Quick Energy Guidance
The ongoing astrological configuration of the Cardinal Grand Cross is applying pressure from four energetic sides. If you’re experiencing any tension, anxiety, angst, anger, conflict, or need for huge change right now, rest assured, that’s what the energy is – the force of the Cardinal Grand Cross requiring something new in you.
As I mentioned in this last New Moon write-up, certain astrological points and signs are feeling it the most; specifically any planets and points in your natal chart from 8 to 14 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. These trigger zones will continue to work with you personally throughout 2014. And there are MANY gifts in these energies, my friends!
The pressure building is similar to coal creating new diamonds, yet I’m hearing it in a slightly different way: the intensity is creating new light within to shine outwardly. The force is actually within YOU (not external) and is requiring you to breakthrough into new parts of your being, your energy, your potentials.
We are always in control of our energy. You own your thoughts, emotions, ideas, actions, beliefs, and choices at all times. We are quickly moving away from unconscious programming and opening up to higher levels of experiences as conscious individuals. Sometimes extremes are what takes us to the next part of the journey the fastest, so zoom out to see the bigger picture. You’re on a fast-track and also fully in control at the same time.
Quick exercise to do right now as you look at this screen:
Visualize the middle point of a cross. See the very center point of it in your mind’s eye. Focus on increasing light shining through the center point, until sha-zam! The bright clarity of a blinding light clears awaythe fog, stagnation, fears, or anything that you are experiencing. These light breakthroughs are quite fast and effective, yes?
LIGHT breakthroughs are happening because of our ability to create higher energies in all areas of our life now. We are open and willing to receive greater light than ever before, right when we request it.
Light BREAKthroughs are clearing away whatever is complete, ready to go, and be released. Recognize change as a natural manifestation of time in the 3D constructs of reality. Things of a lower vibration are ready to break and give birth to the new.
Light breakTHROUGHS are taking us to another energetic experience of ourselves. We are moving through to more of what resonates withour true Selves. Don’t fear the change; embrace it. Allow. Open up with trusting arms and receive the winds of change as forces of Spirit filled with awesome Love.
Doesn’t that quick change in perspective feel amazing?!
Everyone on the planet is feeling these energies, and you may come across some less-desirable expressions either through others, yourself, or a trigger point. In addition to that super-easy visualization exercise, I put together some effective thoughts to assist you in raising energies swiftly during these big growth cycles:
*Passive-aggressiveness and/or inability to take action (Lower expressions of Mars in Libra) ~
Focus on peace within for all parties involved:
“May the energy of peace surround, fill up, and overflow within All involved in this situation now. I recognize the gorgeous Divinity in each being regardless of external energies.”
*Doubt in Self or Lack of Personal Clarity (Lower expressions of Uranus in Aries) ~
Focus on confidence in Spiritual Self:
“May the strength of Spirit/Source/God fill me up to my natural state of Spiritual Confidence and Strength. I own my full energy as a connected source of Light.”
*Bullying, Force & Power Struggles (Lower expressions of Pluto in Capricorn)~
Focus on Trust in Highest Source of Personal Power:
“May the inner well of power that is my natural birthright guide all involved to our best possible places now. I am connected to the bigger purpose of this situation now.”
*Emotional overload & projecting big fears (Lower expressions of Jupiter in Cancer) ~
Focus on detaching from the feelings/Ego-Mind and Return to Spiritual Connection:
“May I always know that I am connected to the deep source of my inner Truth. I believe in my ability to Trust beyond any fleeting feelings that may arise in my consciousness.”
All you need is waiting within.

Light It Up! New Moon, New Year, New Energies
We’re ringing in the fresh energies of 2014 with a Super New Moon! 2014 launches with a powerful New Moon at 11 degrees Capricorn that will set the energetic tone for the year ahead. How so, you wonder? Because the 11th degree in each Cardinal sign (Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, Libra) will be triggered throughout 2014.
~ Pluto in Capricorn (hits 11 degrees in January and stays there from July all the way to November): A slow churning up of debris, karma, relationships, patterns, energies that you are ready to transmute into a more powerful form. This means other things must die, but good news – what is complete can become fertilizer for the new.
~ Uranus in Aries (hits 11 degrees in March): Pulls back strongly on the “what I want” side of the tug-of-war rope and doesn’t care to wait around for a diplomatic solution. It’s GO TIME, baby.
~ Jupiter in Cancer (hits 11 degrees in Feb & March): Connects your heartstrings to your roots and taps into the wisdom you bring back into your sacred space. Redecorate to match your new energy, preferences, life, joys.
~ Mars in Libra (hits 11 degrees at end of April & beginning of May): Requires walking a balancing point between talking and running. Mars is not accustomed to waiting around during intelligent conversations that weigh the pros and cons of a decision.
Cardinal signs are the initiators of the zodiac and want to get things started, which is why they are associated with the beginning of each season. As we move through 2014, the desire to BEGIN AGAIN will keep popping up and CHANGE will be a guarantee. The ability to start something with new energy or from a fresh perspective will lead you to new opportunities, possibilities, and potentials you didn’t even know existed. Keep the expectation that change is a guarantee and this will assist with smooth transitions.
Change is not a one-time event; it is continual and long-term, qualities Capricorn knows all about. With four planets in Capricorn during this New Moon (Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury), remember to slow down, take your time, plan for the marathon. Implementing a bit of caution and discernment are wise tendencies amongst all of the impulsive desires to start, go, move, act.
As we begin a new trip around the calendar, keep in mind that what matters most is your intention, being in the flow, and strengthening your continual connection to Source/God/Spirit/The Universe. We have no way ofKNOWING what the year ahead brings, but in some regards, it doesn’t matter when you have everything inside you already. You’re already prepared. You’re already suited up, trained, practiced, and ready to excel. You’ve got this. Or else you wouldn’t still be here! Seriously.
We will be given opportunities to demonstrate our Self-Love and Self-Respect through new endeavors, goals, choices, and honoring what is best for you. I’ll be honest – this may be uncomfortable at times. You may come up against hard decisions and foggy choices. Just remember to go within for your answers, and you’ll be golden. And we know this already – right?! So NOW is the time to put it all into action and demonstrate your mastery, excellence, wisdom, and LOVE.
Remember, the world needs LIGHT at this time. And that’s ALSO why you are here.
