The Candy Cane Martini
Ingredients
1/2 oz. Schnapps, peppermint
1 oz. Vodka

It’s Release Day! Have Yourself a Merry Little #Sexmas
And, to celebrate, have yourself a Christmas drink too!

Carter’s been on his own since he came out at sixteen. He was one of the lucky ones—when coffee shop wages weren’t cutting it and he was on the edge of being homeless again, a kind stranger got him a fake ID and work as a dancer in a strip club. Since then, he’s saved his money, enough for a mortgage on a small fixer-upper of a house. He’s even started thinking about the future.
Given his career choice, the possibility of a normal relationship doesn’t get a second thought.
Thilo has never had his own apartment, never lived away from his family, never had a relationship that went farther than a kiss and a hug. Now he’s a thousand miles away, facing his first ever holiday season by himself.
His Christmas present—and Snowmageddon--is about to change that.

Click the blue button to see who else is posting excerpts today.
This one is from my soon-to-be-released Christmas novelette (long novelette–I worked real hard to keep it under 30K words, so the price would stay at $3.99) And, it’s on pre-order right now at Loose Id for $3.59.
In this excerpt, Thilo’s friends have let the alcohol do the thinking for them, and have decided they need to do something to cheer Thilo up. And the natural thing to do is to send him a stripper on Christmas Day, amIright?
Best friends don’t let best friends Christmas alone.

A cheerful stripper and an awkward accountant, trapped together in the middle of Snowmageddon. There’s enough heat between them to melt the polar ice caps. Is it just Sexmas, or can it be more?

Steph hung up the phone and flopped back on the couch, spilling some of her candy-cane martini in the process. “Damn!”
“Oh, it’s okay, honey. Here, try this one. I call it a Christmas tree.” Vic brought her over another drink, layers of red and green and white in a tall glass, and took away the dregs of her martini.
Steph tried the new one. “Oh, this is good. But I’ll bet it’s fattening. It’s fattening, isn’t it? Oh my God, I’m gonna be so fat after this.”
Vic laughed and finished passing out glasses to Wayland and Teela. “Relax. It’s Christmas. We’re all going to be fat.” He wobbled a little and landed on the arm of the couch with a thump. “Poor Thilo. That sucks, being all alone for Christmas.”
“It does.” Teela sniffed into her drink.
“We should do something about it.”
“Like what?”
“I don’t know. Get him a hooker or something.”
“Thilo’d never go for a hooker; his mom would kill him. She spends all her time volunteering with one of those groups that’s into getting prostitutes off the streets and helping street kids go to college and stuff, remember?”
“Yeah, you’re right. So what do we do?”
Vic hung over the back of the couch, a wicked grin on his face. “A stripper isn’t as bad as a prostitute, right? Let’s get him one of those. It’s either that or a glitter bomb, and I like Thilo. Glitter’s for people I hate.”

So, who won the Flesh Market giveaway?
It was a lady named Ran, who lives in the Phillipines. She asked for this book:
Amazon
It’s a really good book. So, her copy of The FBI Career Guide is on it’s way to her. Because of where she lives, she probably won’t get it until the New Year, mail delivery being what it is. But it is on it’s way.
Congratulations, Ran, and happy reading!

#ManLoveSunday – Have Yourself a Merry Little Sexmas
Yes, it might be a bit early to be thinking Christmas, but here we are, one month away. Click the linky thing to see who else is posting today.
Less than a month before Christmas, Carter woke up two hours early because the North Pole had moved into his bedroom. “Blech,” he stuttered and watched his breath flume away from him in a misty cloud. “What the hell? I bought oil last month. I can’t be out.” It must have gotten colder than predicted last night, or maybe that window in the kitchen had creaked itself open again. His poor furnace… Once the roof was done, he should look into getting one of those heat-pump things. He could live with the crappy pink bathroom and the toilet that plugged at least twice a week for a bit longer. Heat was a wonderful thing.
Gathering all his courage, he threw back the covers and dived for yesterday’s sweatpants, puddled on the floor by the bed. They weren’t any warmer than the air, and he danced in place as he pulled them on, making little noises of discomfort while he covered all the important bits and went hunting for more layers to add.
“Okay, house, what are you throwing at me this time?”

Flesh Market Update
Well, Flesh Market has fallen off the overall bestseller list at All Romance Ebooks, but it’s still climbing the Mystery and Suspense list, which is a nice little boost. I’ve had to put the sequel aside for a bit to work on the Christmas story, and get caught up on schoolwork. Check in tomorrow for a sneak peek at “Have Yourself a Merry Little Sexmas”.
