Please Vote for Flesh Market at the Divine Book Awards

Divine-2015-Book-Awards-600x480

Divine Magazine 2015 Book Awards

It’s up in MM of 2015, and LGBT Crime. The top twenty in each category with the most likes will go on to the final round.

I’m not good at shilling my stuff, but I think Flesh Market is a good–if sometimes difficult to read–story. I worked hard at it and did my best to balance the needs of as wide an audience of readers as possible. So, as someone who totally sucks at self-promotion, please go vote for Flesh Market. :)

Now the awkward silence as I try to think of something else smart to say.

Nope. Got nothing.

Go vote. Even if it isn’t for me. Everyone, even established authors, needs a boost on occasion. Votes in competitions like these are like hugs.

Hug an author today. :)

I. Am. Speechless.

best one yet

I’ve never had a book get to this spot before. I’ve had them sneak into one the lower spots before, but I always thought that top one was reserved for people like LA Witt and Charlie Cochet and, well, Piper Vaughn and Kenzie Cade. All I can say is Thank You, and I hope you enjoy Julian and Leo’s story.

I think I need to go lie down.

:)

Hey! Bite Me Tender is on sale too!

Loose Id: $4.79

Amazon: $4.76

All Romance: $4.49

This is pretty cool, because I was putting words on the sequel last night. Poor Glyn. That wolf of his is like that one friend that’s always right about stuff, but never knows when to shut up.

Bite Me TenderWitches & Wolves

Levi is a werewolf. His boyfriend, and the love of his life, is a witch. After living together for three years, they decided to commit to each other and change Glyn into a werewolf. Levi hoped the pack would accept Glyn more readily as a wolf. Glyn hoped it would eliminate his erratic magic and erase the OCD it caused. One year later, they're still trying...

Levi can't understand why his bite won't change Glyn and he's running out of time to figure it out. His pack is being threatened by a larger one, he's facing dissension in the ranks of his own ruling council and Glyn's grandmother is poking her witchy nose into their relationship.

Under threat of a violent takeover, the council pushes another potential wolf at Levi, infuriating Glyn and adding weight to Levi's own doubts. Council machinations divide the two lovers, leaving both men questioning their lives, their love, and what they're willing to endure for each other.

Full moon is a time of power and change. It could be a disaster, or it could be the key to happily ever after. If they're strong enough to take a loss and make it a win.

#MANLOVESUNDAY Blog Hop — Proud Flesh

Click the link to see who else is on the hop today!

It’s almost a week since Flesh Market came out. I thought I’d toss out a tidbit of the sequel, tentatively titled Proud Flesh. Leo’s hunting apartments for Julian, and he thinks he’s found the perfect one. Julian’s still in Kansas City, so this is all taking place by video call.

“Bedroom or bathroom?”

“Bathroom first. Save the best for last.”

Leo laughed and headed for the bathroom. “How’d you get along with the prosecutor’s office?”

“Fine. It was all the same stuff. They really wanted to go into detail.”

“They always do.” Leo paused and turned the camera back to himself. “How was it?”

He saw Julian’s jaw working and knew that what came after was going to be a lie. “It was fine.”

It hadn’t been. Julian still denied it was rape, and that denial fueled a rage that was going to get him bounced out of the FBI if he didn’t deal with it soon. There was nothing Leo could do about it, though, so he simply nodded, defusing Julian’s incipient explosion, and continued the tour. He crossed the short hallway and turned into the bathroom, spinning the phone to point at the tub as he did so.

Dead silence, then Julian’s voice breathed out of the tiny speaker, low and needy. “Oh, the things I could do to you in that tub.”

Flesh Market Is Now Available on Amazon!

Amazon.com

Amazon.ca

Amazon.co.uk

Flesh MarketBodies and Souls #1

Special Agent Leo Gale is up a creek. A year and a half of deep cover is about to go up in flames. He needs help – something, someone to salvage the operation and save the lives of untold numbers of trafficked teenagers.

But he wasn’t expecting the partner they sent, or his own gut-punch of a response to the man.

Julian worked hard for that FBI Honors Internship. It was supposed to be a foot in the door. He’d never expected it to catapult him into the middle of a major undercover operation. Yet here he is, sleeping on a filthy mattress and using every trick in the book to avoid torture--and worse. He’s never felt so scared, or so alive, in his entire life, and he’s not sure if it’s the danger, or Leo, that’s making his heart race.

There’s no time to think about it, though. The operation is heating up, and Leo and Julian are running out of time and options. As choices become more difficult, they must find a way to take the traffickers down, or risk becoming just another set of organs for sale.

Flesh Market is here!

And luckily I have class today, and an assignment to finish, so I absolutely don’t have time to keep hitting refresh. Nope. Not a bit. *click, click*

In completely other news, I’m working on the sequel to Flesh Market, and the sequel to Bite Me Tender. Hopefully within the year for both of them.
