Second Novel in Midwife Trilogy Complete!
Hello, all — I’ve had a busy spring. The second novel of the Midwife trilogy is complete, and I’ll be shopping it around soon. If you read The Midwife’s Revolt, and remember Eliza Boylston, Lizzie’s haughty sister-in-law, well, it’s her story: how she grew up on Brattle Street before the Revolution, and how, in exile in Portsmouth, NH, she fell in love with her uncle’s slave.
