Hey, all. I haven't been around Goodreads for awhile, but now that I'm back I wanted to let you know of some great news: The Midwife's Revolt has been purchased by Lake Union Publishers, an imprint of Amazon Publishers. It will be reissued in April of 2015. Stay tuned for more news as we get closer to the pub date!

Second Novel in Midwife Trilogy Complete!

Hello, all — I’ve had a busy spring. The second novel of the Midwife trilogy is complete, and I’ll be shopping it around soon. If you read The Midwife’s Revolt, and remember Eliza Boylston, Lizzie’s haughty sister-in-law, well, it’s her story: how she grew up on Brattle Street before the Revolution, and how, in exile in Portsmouth, NH, she fell in love with her uncle’s slave. Stay tuned!
