Jesus Comes to You in Your Storm

In Mark 6, Jesus sent the disciples ahead of him to Bethsaida while he went off by himself to pray. It wasn���t a long trip by boat, but they were blown off course by a storm, and when Jesus saw them struggling against the wind in the middle of the lake, he came to their aid.

Because God Says So

As followers of Jesus Christ, he expects us to obey whatever he tells us to do ��� even if it appears foolish to other people, even if it doesn���t make sense financially, even if we don���t understand it and we���re scared to death.

Why Your Way Isn���t Working

Think about how hard it must have been for Simon Peter to admit failure to Jesus. He was a professional fisherman, and he was good at it. It was how he made his living. But sometimes even the pros fish all night and catch nothing.
