Summer is here :)

Summer is finally here & the weather was beautiful today! I've been busy working on book projects including our Facebook page. Seems like with modern media it should be easier to accomplish our goals, but I find that it takes a lot more time to get everything done! Well, hope that you have a wonderful weekend & check out our Kipnuk The Talking Dog page on Facebook. We have daily jokes and some wonderful photographs of nature from some personal friends of mine. Take care!

A Beautiful Sunday

I just went out for a walk, and wow is it a beautiful day! Each day I take Kipnuk, my Alaskan malamute out on walks, or should I say he is so big sometimes he takes me on walks! Today the weather is so very nice. It has been a little cloudy/rainy off and on, and so days when the sun is shining are just wonderful!

I wrote Kipnuk the Talking Dog about my Alaskan malamute, Kipnuk. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old and he is now quite big! He is orginally from a working sled dog ranch where his ancestors have worked for many generations. I adopted him and taught him how to pull a sled for fun, but he hasn't actually ever worked. We would go out for fun with friends, Skijoring and Mushing in the Sierra Nevada mountains. It is amazing to see how excited Kipnuk would get when we were on our way to the trail. He and his friend Kodi, would howl and wag their tails the entire ride in my truck. In the mountains, I was teaching Snowboarding and coaching children's sports, so we typically went out after work or on my days off. I hope to be able to share a video of one of our sled adventures soon!

Anyway, thanks so much to those of you who are reading my blog! I hope that you enjoy the silly jokes of the day. I really appreciate a little humor that can be shared with anyone. It can be challenging to find suitable jokes that are funny, yet sweet. I have coached and taught children for many years, and find that a good, cute joke can really make someone's day.

Well, I haven't written much about my daily personal life yet, as I have been quite busy with the book and other book related projects. It is a rather time consuming process, but I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity. Take care & wishing you a wonderful week!
-Heather :)
