Like a Stone in a shallow pond, today hit me like that. I was the shallow pond and the day was the STONE!

There is a stray cat that I feed, and I couldn't tell you anything about his breed, or whatever. But I know tough when I see it, and that cat is hard. I respect him.

He is a small cat, but he has taken all comers and driven their furry asses over to the next apartment buildings. He holds his turf like a LION.

There is a lesson there for us all. I believe it is this; Be FIERCE in ALL that you do. Trust yourself, be good to yourself, and be true to you, and you can hold the turf of your spirit against anything this world might throw at you.

Be good to yourself, don't hang you head for anyone, and don't take any crap.
I dig you.

I created an exercise program a while back. It is called the Zombie Fighter Jango workout. Awesome results, anyone can do it, like that. So, some neighbors at the apartment complex saw me working out and filming the routine for YouTube.

One thing leads to another, and pretty soon they are doing the routine.

The exercise routine is made to burn fighting movements into muscle memory. It just happens to burn calories like crazy.
The neighbors are stoked!
So I gave them each a fighting stick so they could do the stick variations if they wanted to.

I miss my stick. The one I gave the man, I didn't know that I was giving away the stick that fit my hands like no other.... THE Stick.

You never know how meaningful something is until it is gone. I would encourage us all to take a good, hard look around and enjoy the beauty that is in our lives. Because all too soon, it can all be gone.

Be good to yourselves, treat yourselves with respect. You don't hang your head for anyone, and know that I dig you.

All right, I am fairly desperate for honest feed back on my first book, "The Road to Hell is Paved With Zombies."

So, to try and get the feedback I so desperately need to make my second book better, I am offering to name two characters after whoever is first to give me USEFUL feed back and a review on my book. I want an HONEST review, only the TRUTH! The two characters up for grabs are both women, one is a nurse who is a leader. She is also a lesbian, so if you have a problem with people being who they are, you might want to skip this. The other character is one of three zombie fighters, well, apprentice zombie fighters.

Okay, it appears that my unbroken streak of invisibility has been broken, and my blog has actually been perused by actual humans!!

Deborah, how freaking cool are you? Survey says: As cool as the other side of the pillow! Yeah, you ROCK!

Now, something even more unexpected has happened, reality has distorted, and my world-schema has been irreversibly changed.

Now, I signed in to my Goodreads account, and was blithely going about my business when, "BLAM!" I saw that I had FANS!!!

"Say what, say what?" Uh-huh, I said it, fans. On an awesome-scale of one to ten that is like, I don't know, a zillion!!!

So, my humble thanks, and heart-felt gratitude goes out to Kathy Geiser and Joy Killar for having the pure and unadulterated Bad-assedness to click that Fan button. You are both Rock-Stars as far as I am concerned, and it is likely that you can do no wrong.

Yeah! I finally finished book 2 in Zombie Fighter Jango's story.

"Jango's Anthem" starts up two months after "The Road to Hell" ended. Jango has been busy killing and burning his way south on Highway 89 for those two months.

Without Sonja, Jango has become..... increasingly erratic and violent.

As his story unfolds, new layers to Jango are shown, and we get a new hero as well.

The truth behind the Zombie Apocalypse is shown to Jango, and the truth about himself is revealed.

Even though death sings strongly in this choir, this will always be "Jango's Anthem".

Strong language and violence-Reader Discretion is Advised.

All right, Zombie Fighter Jango fans, I want you to know that you are appreciated. I realize that the odds are against this blog post being read, what with my VERY limited fame and Fan-dom. But check it out; I might have the smallest readership in all of Bookland, but I have the COOLEST readership in the whole damn world!
