Announcement of a New Series...
Since I started writing I get a crazy idea in my head and I jot it down on a post-it. (FYI: I love post-its!!!)
Anyway, this one idea kept creeping up and wouldn't leave me alone. So, I brought it to my publishers attention and they agreed for me to publish it.
It's a series that deal with female issues. By that I mean, typical issues that I've lived through and others that I know.
Before I go to far in depth let me tell you about book 1. The titles will be 'different' but that is the point, right?!
Book 1 will be called: I'm the Real Paige Crosby
I know its a mouthful, but there is a purpose for it...promise! The series will be called: I'm Real Series.
Book 1 will deal with self-esteem issues. A small overview of the book is that Paige Crosby is overweight, and receives a big job opportunity. However, she doesn't think that she deserves it and hides in the shadows.
There is more to it, but that is just a quick note about it!
I do have a release date of January 21, 2014!!
I am very excited and I will keep you updated!!

UPDATES ...........
Well, I have been in my writing mode finishing Breaking the Ice (Ice Series #2). I didn't think that I would get it done on time but .......
It's all done and off to the editors!!!
Y'all know how much I hate commas, and I love run-ons! My poor editor!
Now, since that is done I can focus on Book 3 of the Penalty Kill Trilogy with Lindsay Paige. It's sad to see it end. I have fallen in love with Levi and Presley so much. On top of that, I love writing with LP!!
Maybe we will do more in the future.
Now I have made my list for my 2014 projects. It's a long list, but I have been working a lot on all my WIPs. So I will keep you updated!

At 37, Jennifer has written several stories and has many more in store for readers. When she is not writing she likes reading, working on computer graphics, editing photos, listening to music, and brainstorming for new ideas!

My Challenge
So, I have several friends that are very strict vegans. They never push their beliefs on me, but I've recently had a health scare.
Don't worry ... I'm fine !!! However, I need to change a bunch of things in my lifestyle.
I'm not the greatest person for that ....
But I LOVE a challenge .. So they challenge me to be vegetarian for the WHOLE month of November.
I usually go meat-free for Lent, but this time it will be a bit different.
So, I agreed.
NOW........I'm not going to be posting my weight or anything like that...........
However ... I will post weight loss (if any) and any cool recipes that I find

Now, I just have to start....

WHAT I AM READING: Faithful by Kelly Elliott
First and foremost in my life I am a BOOK NERD!
But because I have trying to get all these books out .. I haven't had much time to read ..
So I started a 'goal' system. If I hit my 'goal' of words for the day then I will read a few chapters from (whatever) book I'm reading, or really want to read.
This week's book is:
*sigh* Kelly Elliott, I heart her and her books! I am so excited because in February I will be at the same signing event as her. When I found that out I was like .......
If you know me from my other site (Book Nerds Across America) you know how I am ?!?!?!?! I can't talk to celebrities!! And she is the frosting on the cake of Celebrities!!
So, when I see her for the first time I will probably pass out ... for real
Thank goodness my Bailey Ardisone will be there with me.
Anyway ... enough of my rambling ...

Teaser Tuesday ...
Its Tuesday .. and you know what that means .....
Yep .. teaser time ..
So why not a little sneak peak from my WIP (Work In Progress). This one is for Nolan Long, who is my muse for the main character, Colton Cruise:
God, what a day. Thankfully, I can relax for a bit here, practically alone in the dark empty bar. The bartender is tending to her side of the place, getting ready for what is supposed to be a busy night and the reason I’m here. According to what I keep hearing, this place is going to explode with tons of people all waiting to hear this one band that plays here every so often. The last time I was here, I found the band, Shine, that pretty much got my career to where it’s at today.When the owner, a business acquaintance, told me about this band, I had to come. After all, he played a part in me becoming the manager of Shine, a rock band that has had so much success. I’ve been looking for another group to launch and so here I am. Despite my crappy day so far, I grin and stand from my seat when I see the owner, Wills, coming my way.“It’s good to see you again,” I greet, shaking his hand.He nods and says, “It’s about time you’ve made your way back here, Colt. You’re going to love Twisted Misery.” We take a seat and I ask him to tell me a little more about them. “Besides the fact that they have a bunch of talent?” he chuckles. “They’re a young band; haven’t been playing together long, but you wouldn’t know it by watching them. So much energy too. The crowd loves them.”“Well, I look forward to hearing them.”“They will be a hit, just like last time, Colt. I -” Wills sentence gets cuts off suddenly as music begins. I look around him, hearing a guitar dominate this place. At first, my eyes are glued to the slender fingers on the neck of the instrument. They move easily and fluently, but with clear intent. When a voice joins the guitar, my focus travels up the arm to a curtain of long black hair. The girl’s face is shielded by her hair as she seems to be looking down. Her voice in combination with the angry tune is haunting and captivating. “Who’s that?” I ask without taking my eyes of her. I can’t even see her face, but with a voice like that and that petite body, she’s just as captivating as the song. “That’s the lead guitarist in Twisted Misery. She’s just a piece of the talent though,” Wills answers.Just a piece? It gets better than that? Damn. The girl finally lifts her head, eyes closed as her face shows all the emotions of the song. The rage clearly displayed as she sings and I realize I’m as lost in the music as she is. She owns the mood, the stage, the music. Somehow, she seems in control of what she’s doing, but at the same time, lost in the lyrics. She sings about being left behind, getting pissed at the world for it, and coming back for revenge.

Been on Vacation ....
I have enjoyed the last 10 FULL days off of work. It's been restful and (some-what) productive.
First, I have fallen in love with Sons of Anarchy. I watch season 1-4, and OMG! I'm in love with Jax!
If you haven't watched them...go ... now .. hurry!!!
Second, on the book/writing front....
I've got a lot done on Book 2: Breaking the Ice AND I received a release day of ...
wait for it ....
December 6th!!!!
I can barely contain my excitement about this book. Rachel and Max are going to be great.
Also, Lindsay Paige and I made the announcements for the Penalty Kill Trilogy. One, Off the Ice is going to be out in December 5th!! (I'm in for a crazy week there! haha) Second, we wrote a small novella for Levi and Presley. It will come out December 23rd, and it's just in time for the holidays! (Can't wait for y'all to read this one!)
That's about it for me .. It's Monday .. So, it's back to work time .................

UPDATE ... UPDATE ...
