Teaser Tuesday: Always Forever by Mary Smith
Today's teaser needs a little back story:
Ivee is the lead guitarist for the band Twisted Misery, and just finished playing at Wills bar. This is her first encounter with Colton Cruise.

“Ivee?” Nolan’s stern voice shook me out of my day dream.“What?”“Can you be there tomorrow?” He asked.“Yeah, no problem,” I said nonchalantly, even though my insides were flipping in circles.Just then a gaggle of girls came around the truck. I knew what was on their minds.Sex.I rolled my eyes at their low cut tank tops, short skirts, and walked away to go back into the bar.It was almost empty, except for a few bartenders that were cleaning up. I slide behind the counter, grabbing a cold bottle of water. I noticed Wills at the end of the bar, and I stroll over to him. Ever since we’ve played here, he’s been very kind to me. Not in that creepy-perverted-way either.I slapped a five dollar bill on the counter. “Take this,” I ordered. Wills chuckled. “You made me a lot of money tonight.” He pushed it back to me. “It’s on me.”“Thanks,” I said gently, putting the money back into my pocket.“I want you to meet someone,” Wills informed me as a young guy comes up to the bar, next to him. “Ivee, this is Colton.”“Hey,” I nodded.“Ivy, like a plant?” he questioned. The bar lights made his light brown eyes gleam, as he searched me up and down.“I-V-E-E. I’m not a plant,” I spat back at him.“I’m simply making an assumption of your name.” He tried to pin a mean look at me through his eyes, but it wasn’t working on me.“Well, you’re wrong.” I narrowed mine to him.“Aren’t you just a little southern bell?” Colton’s voice is low and deep.“Oh please, like I haven’t heard that cheesy pickup line before.” I groaned at his attempt to make fun of my thick Texas accent.“Ivee,” Wills voice sent me a warning, and he was shaking his head.
“Well, thank you Wills,” I said, ignoring Colton’s eyes and Wills, leaving them both at the bar.

I still gawked at the female. I couldn't figure out if she was a groupie, or a member of the band. Then I watched her smoothly pull the guitar strap over her head, and adjust it to sit low on her hips. When she turned, I was taken back. She was really gorgeous, even in the low light that was around the stage. Even though she was very short, she was curvy, and her skin appeared to be milky and smooth. Yep, I would like to fuck her, I nodded silently.I heard them practice a few chords, tuning their instruments, as another wave of people came into the bar, towards the stage. Within moments, the bar was packed, and I could feel the energy in the room. The spotlight turned on, and the crowd erupted into screams. Wills was right this band had something to it. The lead singer stepped up to the mic. His hair was longer and a dark green. “We’re Twisted Misery,” he announced, and music began. The drummer began to pound the percussions, and the strobe lights gleamed off his blue spiked hair. The bass guitarist strolled up to the end of the stage and began strumming wildly on his instrument, as his long fire, red hair swished around him. But it was the girl that held my attention the longest. She had stage presence, but she wasn’t out front like the other guys. Until she opened her mouth.
The crowd died down, as she began to sing. My mouth agape by the sounds that left her. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

Where have you been?
Have you ever been at the store or out and about, and see someone that you haven't seen in a very, very long time?
What are your first thoughts? Typically it's something to the effect of:
Wow, you look great.
You haven't aged a day.
Or,
OMG! It's been forever!
Okay, that last one is what I do!
So, here is the reasons for my absences:
Um........................
Okay, I've got nothing.
All I've been doing these past few months is writing. Yep, that's it.
So, here is the update:
Shattering the Ice (The Ice Series)
had an amazing debut and I don't know how to thank everyone for it.
Since, that series has ended, I have turned my focus onto my newest book: Always Forever.
That should be out mid-June. I don't have an exact date, because...well...this is my first solo Indie published book, so I'm trying to make sure that it's all perfect, before I hit "publish".
I'm so nervous about this book!
However, I can't wait either!
Also, The Penalty Kill Trilogy has finished too. Lindsay Paige and I couldn't be happier, because we have more surprises in the works!

UPDATE on Writing and STUFF ..............
Everyone seems to be asking about what's going on this or that?? So, I figured I knock it all out in one shot ...

Anyway, let's begin with The Ice Series
Melting Away the Ice has a beautiful new cover, and I love it! Breaking the Ice has been doing great on the Amazon Sport Romance list!!
THANK YOU EVERYONE
Now about Book 3!!! As you all know, this will be Charity's and Marc's Story!! I'm super excited about this one! I am thinking that it will be around the End of March/Beginning of April for that release!
I have some of it done, but not all!
Then there is THE BIG QUESTION....will there be a book 4????
I am going to be honest in saying ... I don't know!! I had originally planned for it....but now ..
I know so many of you have asked ... I don't want to beat this series to death and everyone ends up hating it. So, I'll just see what happens......for now
ONTO THE NEXT POINT..... Sara and Lucas, Rachel and Max ....
Again, you all want these story lines 'finished' up, and I think you're right!! We all want a happy ending for these four. Will it be a FULL LENGTH Novel???? I really doubt it, BUT I do have some great ideas in mind and I will talk to Nevermore about finishing up their stories. Once I have the 'official' yes (or no) then I will let everyone know!! So, head over to Nevermore's Facebook Page and tell them you want more ICE SERIES .. HAHA .. maybe then they won't say 'NO'...hahaha!!
NOW ONTO THE PENALTY KILL TRILOGY.............
Oh that Lindsay Paige ... I have fallen in love writing with her, and I'm so sad this is our last book ...
Book 3, is being written (as we speak) No really, LP is in there right now writing!! haha!!
Now, for a release date....there isn't one yet! We want this book to be perfect, especially since it's the last. As soon as I know, then you'll know!

I recently announce that International Best Selling Author, Dawn White, and I will be writing a NA Paranormal book. SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THIS!! This is all in the starting phase, so there is nothing really much for me to tell you!
I'm Real Series is STILL GOOD TO GO! Nevermore will be publishing this! However, do to some personal issues it will not be out until Late Feb/Early March. This is all my fault that it wasn't done on time. I am very sorry about that .. I mean it too!!
Lastly ....... there are a few other projects that are in the works and I'm going to keep you updated (once I have more details)!! So, just hang with me because if all goes as plan (and it sometimes does) 2014 WILL BE A BIG YEAR!!!

I can't believe how much has happened since my last birthday (where I was 29)!!

2014 Diet/Healthy Update
The woes of the new year brings new resolutions. It happens every year, to everyone! I'm no exception.
Every year I set myself up for epic failure because I make this reach-for-the-stars resolution, and I never reach it.
Thanks to my dear friends online (yes, I'm a social media fanatic!) I came up with this concept. Okay, it's nothing Earth shattering, trust me.
Anyway, this year I've decided to do daily goals (for my author life) and monthly goals (for my personal life).
I'm going to share the monthly goals with you and keep you updated. I think that will help me stay on track too, because if I see it in black and white I have to do it. (sounds strange I know)
So here they are:
1) lose 5 lbs
2) eat NO MEAT
this isn't that bad because I've been (somewhat) meat free since November
3) Workout at least ten days the whole month

Goodbye 2013 .... Bring it on 2014
Wow, I can't believe that it, 2013 is over 
What a crazy year have I had!!?? Let's recap: Last year, started out rough because the NHL was still dealing with the lockout. Oh, the horror:
Now, it's okay .. at least for a few more years!
It was my love of hockey that brought to what is happening to me now......bring an author!
That is still very hard for me to say, because It still feels so unreal!!
With the support of my family and friends, I wrote Melting Away The Ice (THE ICE SERIES)
!! Then came: Breaking the Ice (The Ice series (Vol 2))
I still can't believe it.
With that brought the greatest partnership EVER! My dear sweet LP (aka Lindsay Paige). Where would I be without that girl!?
LP and ME!!!Our partnership brought two full books: Breakaway (The Penalty Kill Trilogy)
and Off the Ice (The Penalty Kill Trilogy)
. Of course, I can't forget our novella:Our First Christmas (The Penalty Kill Trilogy)
All of this has happened since JUNE!!
Now all I can say is:
BRING IT 2014!!!
