Racha Zeidan My husband was recently on a business trip for a seminar, and he called me one evening and said: "Today, we started our day at 8 a.m. with a huge breakfast, I am talking the works, sausage, eggs, muffins, etc. and I ate so much. At 11:30 a.m. we were offered lunch, and I was not hungry at all by then, so I decided to follow 'Great Body No Diet' and skip lunch. However by 5 p.m. when our class was dismissed, I was soooo hungry and tired and I sort of regretted it." I said: "Honey well done to skip lunch when you were not hungry because you had a huge meal, but there are exceptions, especially when you know what is ahead in your schedule. Knowing that you will be stuck in class all day, it means that you are not free to go out for lunch or eat lunch at your desk when you got hungry 6 hours after breakfast. What you should have done is eat a small quantity at 11:30 a.m. when they served lunch so it can carry you over to dinner time, or you could have saved a sandwich on the side to eat it when hungry." He replied: "No I could not have saved a sandwich so I guess I should have eaten just a little bit to make sure I don't starve myself.", and that is what he did the following day. ------ Be careful my dear friends when skipping meals, it is tricky sometimes, but not impossible. You will master it eventually.
