My advice is simple, adjust the where of where you’re looking to surround yourself with people that actually Feel like home to you, not just the places you think people will be, and for knowing it’s real when you think you found it, you have to practice now, the art of trusting your gut. Start here, in unrelated ways, believing your gut reaction to circumstances, to decisions, to life. Our innards know more than we give them credit for.

Here’s what I think, it’s OK to admit when things suck. It’s OK...
Here’s what I think, it’s OK to admit when things suck. It’s OK to admit when you are exhausted, burnt out, overwhelmed with the same routine over and over again. I think toxic positivity is even more dangerous then we believe, this misconception that we always have to “find the best in everything“, or only give off good vibes. Admitting the lows is just as vital as celebrating the highs, as it’s the bitter that makes the sweet sing. Be what you are, feel what you feel, embrace it all and know that all things will pass. It’s ok. You’re doing just fine.

(It’s not a coincidence they share this day) My only hope is that you all have had someone, anyone, in your life that can teach you lessons like these. IF not, if tragically not, I hope you can learn them from the fathers in our lives, from these words passed down from them. Live a full life, give yourself to it, work hard, and be not afraid of sacrifice if it’s for something you love.
