Been planting seeds with my words for years now, tiny little bits of ache and hope. Your wind helped them grow. Your wind spread them.
.
Words like branches grow,
tall trees from this poetry.
Forest from my ache.

My best good buddy @ashleyraymondjames challenged me to write a 3 word haiku, that still had meaning. This is what I came up with, and to me it means that inside all of us, if we dig deep enough, is this unique unconventional spirit that sets us apart, that makes us Art. I hope I did it justice.

Subterranean
unconventionality.
Geological.

Some days I wish I could paint better than I do. Mix colors and spill on canvas expertly. Show you what’s in me with oil or pastel, watercolor or acrylic. Sometimes I wish my words did this.
.
Perhaps they do. For now, I write, and hope you see color where I do not.
.
Wish that I could paint,
sometimes words need more color.
They need a canvas.
