“The Stolen Suitor” now available for pre-order!

Big news! My novel “The Stolen Suitor” is set for release Feb 1, 2016 and is now available on the Dreamspinner “Coming Soon” page for pre-order!

This 70K novel is set in Clyde’s Corner, Montana, where my Christmas novella “A Prairie Dog’s Love Song” took place. It’s part of the new Dreamspun Desires line from Dreamspinner. This new line features 2 new books a month, each with a traditional category romance trope respun for m/m. You can get a subscription or buy books separately. All books will be available in paperback. Cool, huh? Check it out here.

Here’s the blurb for “The Stolen Suitor”

All of Clyde’s Corner, Montana, knows local dandy Chris Ramsey will marry Trix Stubben, young widow and heir to the richest ranch in the area. But one woman isn’t too keen on the idea. Mabe Crassen wants to get her hands on that ranch, so she sets her older son to court Trix, and her younger son, Jeremy, to distract Chris and lure him astray.

Jeremy Crassen thinks his mother’s scheme is crazy. But he wants desperately to go off to college, which Mabe will agree to—if he seduces Chris. How will shy, virginal, secretly gay Jeremy attract Chris, who seems determined to do the right thing and marry Trix? Jeremy can’t compete with a rich female widow. Or can he?

Sherlock’s Funniest Moments On Set - Sherlock: The Abominable Bride

BEN SERIOUSLY.

YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE.

MARTIN GET OVER THE MOUSTACHE.

Tim McInnerny in a dresing gown and a pyjama!?

I think that rules out the possibility, that he’s Victorian Sir Edwin and or employed for the Diogenes Club. (Instead he walks, probably at night, through the maze as well…)

Back to the mysterious Sir Eustace Carmichael than.

The Plot of The Abominable Bride: Watson’s Unpublished Stories & The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes

jenna221b:

I was trying to think of a reason why the Special seems to have quite a few time jumps: we’ve seen setlock images of John in his army uniform so, before he met Sherlock; we’ve seen the first meeting between John and Sherlock; we’ve seen Mary Morstan in 221B, and have been told that her marriage to John is “well-established.”

I’d say @inevitably-johnlocked‘s theory that the Special exists in Sherlock’s mind palace is one of the most convincing ones- it explains why we have all these different scenes, because Sherlock is remembering (or even, in the case of John in the army, imagining) them, and placing them in a Victorian setting.

I’ll add another theory, that could work in combination with @inevitably-johnlocked‘s:

The Abominable Bride is about the unpublished stories of Doctor Watson, and is practically The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes- that is the full, roadshow UNCUT version- re-written.

“The episode falls roughly in line with the modern show’s continuity–Gatiss calls it a ‘side step’–with John’s friendship with Sherlock and marriage to Mary both well-established.”

Confirmation that John and Mary are indeed married in the special

(via hudders-and-hiddles)

Ugh. Another 90 minutes with Mary in the picture. I have so little tolerance for that after she shot Sherlock. It’s like WTF, seriously? We’re just moving forward like nothing happened? Now we’ll have to wait til S4 before there’s even a chance of getting rid of her. Huge eye roll.
