After being born and raised in the cornfields of Nebraska, Brandon moved to Chicago and pursued a comedy career at the legendary Second City. After graduating from the Improv and Comedy Writing programs, he went on to co-found “Monkey Don’t Productions” and became a member of “The Uncomfortables” improv and sketch group.

After nearly 8 years of writing sketch comedy, Brandon shifted his attention to a new medium.

In the spring of 2013, he published his first full-length novel - a dark comedy called "Mantrap," which is available in paperback and on Kindle.
