Indie Summer Blog Tour (Exclusive Scene)
I’m thrilled to be the last stop on the Parajunkee Indie Summer Blog Tour. Copyedits are in. ARCS in two weeks!
I’m getting my copyedits this afternoon. I’ve been thinking about this story quite about during the three weeks its been with the CE and I’ve a lot of additions I want to make. I really love Bo and AM and it’s actually hard to leave them behind and work on another story and another couple.
I’ve been playing music to get me in the mood to write. This song in particular:
I’ll be sending Unspoken off to the proof reader soon and then ARCs will be ready sometime around the 15th. I hope you enjoy Bo and AM folks. I really enjoyed writing their story.

Whore. Slut. Typhoid Mary.
I’ve been called all these at Central College. One drunken night, one act of irresponsible behavior, and my reputation was ruined. Guys labeled me as easy and girls shied away. To cope, I stayed away from Central social life and away from Central men, so why is it that my new biology lab partner is so irresistible to me?
He’s everything I shouldn’t want. A former Marine involved in illegal fighting with a quick trigger temper and an easy smile for all the women. His fists aren’t the danger to me, though, it’s his charm. He’s sliding his way into my heart and I’m afraid that he’s going to be the one to break me.
Impulsive. Unthinking. Hot tempered.
I allow instinct to rule my behavior. If it feels good, do it, has been my motto because if I spend too much time thinking, I’ll begin to remember exactly where I came from. At Central College, I’ve got fighting and I’ve got women and I thought I was satisfied until I met her.
She’s everything I didn’t realize I wanted and the more time I spend with her, the more I want her. But she’s been hurt too much in the past and I don’t want to be the one to break her. I know I should walk away, but I just can’t.

I’ve been busy
But it might not be doing what you think I should be doing. I’ve been busying ordering promo. I’ve got the Bo dog tags ordered. I renewed another order for Noah’s dog tags and then, with the help of Meljean Brook (awesome author whose book Guardian Demon comes out in August), I ordered a couple of t-shirts. Want to see them?
The front has this awesome logo for the series and then the back has a couple different sayings. I ordered them from Zazzle and if they turn out, one of the two (or maybe both) will be given away to one of my newsletter subscribers. Do we like? Yea or nay?
