It gives me glimpses at the past couples as well as me cheering at the end of this story! I've waiting for Gaby and Scott and was not disappointed. I have to say, I'm highly curious about who's next. I'm excited wondering if we'll see some of the weddings in the matches we have seen and who's next. Scott and Gaby were perfect for each other and I've been cheering for them since the first book in this series. Each book is stand alone, but more fun if you read them in order!

2 separate books?, May 10, 2015This review is from: Vague Directions (Kindle Edition)*I received this book free in exchange for an honest review*I loved the first half of this story. Heather is getting lost driving out into the middle of nowhere to find a party her friend is working at. I loved the idea of a hidden dress up, historical party, in the woods, camping. It was fun an interesting. Then there's an attempted kidnapping and it goes haywire. We get thrown for a loop with a paranormal aspect out of nowhere. I felt it didn't fit. had we just continued with the romance, the failed abduction, I would have gladly given this story 4/5 stars. It felt like 2 separate stories. The paranormal aspect wasn't bad. It was interesting, I enjoyed that part as well. My problem was that those both did not fit together for me. There was no lead up at all to give you a hint of the paranormal aspect either.

The first book was a quick read but interesting. It certainly hooked me. I couldn't wait to read this one. I was no disappointed. I feel that it was a little better than the first book. I felt the characters were developed a bit more. You see more of Loki and Aphrodite and I loved it. I enjoy the way the story flows and the interesting take on the Gods and paranormal creatures. This book is surprisingly sexy, which you wouldn't guess from the cover! Not that the cover is bad, I think it's well done. But the surprise of a sexy well written story proves you can't judge a book by it's cover! This is a book I certainly had fun reading.

It could be a good YA story. But spending hours sifting through the dragging, slow, repetitive massive book I just read, makes it hard to enjoy. It would need a bit of editing before it's potential is revealed.
I highly disliked Ayma. She was boring, one dimensional and as much as she liked to tell you her life was boring, the reader feels her pain. I thin just because your character is telling you that her life is boring, doesn't mean that the story has to be as well.
I felt nothing of the chemistry in this story. The "romance" just happened. It was hard for me to feel anything for it. There's no development, nothing to really make me feel for them as a couple.
Like I said, I think this story has a large amount of potential. I feel it could be a decent YA story. But as it is now, it really needs a lot of work. It couldn't hold my attention as it is.

It was fun seeing those characters in this book making appearances! I really enjoyed Ford and Lily. The only thing I didn't like, was you never really see what makes them fall in love. One minute, they are casual, it's a campaign gimmik, then they love each other. I loved that this was a sweet romance, with a little spice, but I would have loved to see the why developed a little more. Either way, this was a fun, sweet romance that was just fun to read!
